First time coming here. It's been a wild Bucees that I didn't think would be as busy as it was around Thanksgiving but getting off the exit took a while. Finding your way through took some time and then after you made your way through that, you may have to wait in the bathroom line for the same duration that you were waiting on the highway to get off. I've never seen a bathroom line that long but regardless it's the nature of coming to Buc-ee's. Food and drinks were flying off the shelves like it was black Friday. There's a long line with kids and grown ups wanting to get a photo with Bucee himself. There's more Christmas Spirit in this store for Buc-ee's than they do for Santa Claus. Overall. Great store that's worth stopping at! read more

Buckees has the cleanest bathrooms and is such a nice place to find during a trip. Love the Brisket sandwiches, root beer with nugget ice, chips, banana pudding and candied pecans! I could spend hours shopping there if I had one near me and could go by myself when others aren't in a rush. I was able to grab the Christmas blanket and it's so soft and warm! read more

We made a day trip for the heck of it Monday to see what was the fuss about. This was one of those novelty things but for those traveling long trips on the daily.. I would highly recommend this. They seem to have everything but in greater numbers and their service was just friendly as could be. We were greeted and Jimmy, the fella who checked us out, was chuckling along with us when we were unloading all we bought. Such a pleasant soul to chat with. They make fresh brisket and they yell it out when it's brought out. The lady working the counter where the scones are, so nice~ we didn't what was being yelled at first and she explained what it was, how good it was.. her favorite things. Just a really nice change of pace. I know things are hard all over the place but we can all be nicer to each other, no matter where we work, ya know and Buc-ees seems to know and be training to this. read more

Another great Buc-ee's! We stopped here for gas during the evening and there was plenty of spots and no wait (although there are tons of spots it is probably unlikely there is ever much of wait). Parking is easy should you need to also pick up something inside. The store itself is massive and has what you would typically expect from any Buc-ee's, lots of food options, store options, clean bathrooms. One thing that differentiates this Buc-ee's is that there is some additional artwork - as there's a cute bronze statue outside which is perfect for selfies and also there's a huge mural as you exit. Definitely another good option to stop at if you are passing through the area! read more

Buc-ee's is always good and crowded. The Brisket is really good. If it was one in Michigan I would go once a month

Been to many Buc-ee's love them all. The person who love them most is my cousin in law. (She's the one in the picture) if we do not stop past she will have a major CRASH OUT and we don't want that. She gets sassy when she doesn't get her picture with the beaver. She love all the food and can't stop eating it once she gets her little fingers on them . Her favorite is all of there fried options she runs right towards them. Can't wait to get screamed at again cause we almost missed the exit. See you next time Buc. P.s.- She is the only person I know to clog a Buc-ee's toilet. That I know of. read more

What a good tourist trap. Some must haves are the beaver nuggets, brisket sandwich, and the glazed pecans. This gas station has the cleanest bathrooms. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area or passing through. Don't forget to get gas at one of their 100+ gas pumps. read more

Never been to a Buc-ee's before. It was packed. As soon as we got inside it was absolute chaos. So much random stuff that no gas station/pit stop needs. Their food selection is odd. They don't have a designated place to grab each hot food. Their selections are rather scattered instead of one food area to grab each selection with ease. It is as if they can't decide on what to be a butcher/bakery/candy store or clothing/gift market. Definitely unnecessary next to a highway with no other gas station options. read more

First time visiting Buc-ee's and it was worth the drive! It's really fun to walk around and see all the nicknacks and food they have for sale. There were a ton of people there so it was pretty crowded and not super easy to get around, but that's not a huge issue. I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious - I was surprised at the high quality! The homemade chips were just ok - not all of them were cooked all the way. The cinnamon roll was huge and pretty good, but I wish they had an option without the cream cheese icing. Go check it out if you haven't been yet! read more

Lighted sign said $3.64 a gallon, pump price was $4.64 a gallon. When I asked you have to buy a car wash to get the lower price for 15 gallons worth. Refill on a 12 ounce coffee $3.15. Everything is hyped and overpriced, the only saving grace is lots of parking and clean bathrooms. read more

I've always heard great things about Buc-ee's, which is why this experience was so disappointing. After eating a pork sandwich from this location, I ended up with a severe case of food poisoning that left me extremely sick. I'm not someone who writes negative reviews lightly, but this was bad enough that I feel others should be aware. Food safety is critical, and unfortunately this visit fell far short of what I expected from a place with such a strong reputation. I hope this was an isolated incident and that they take food handling and preparation seriously moving forward. read more

Crazy busy! I just have one request, would you please sell kolaches after 11am. As a misplaced Texan I would like to buy a dozen or more to take home but you treat them as a breakfast food. Also could you please have more than one size of iced coffee, those little cups are just too small. Sliced Brisket sandwich is the best taste of Texas around! read more

Buc on You Texas-based chain that was founded in 1982 and has nearly sixty locations throughout the South. This is their one and only KY location--second one coming soon to Smiths Grove--and weighs in at a whopping +53k sq feet of store space (their largest in New Braunfels, TX is 68k) that has just about anything and everything one could really need on the road--and then some. The Good: *120 gas spots that feature standard gas, ethanol-free, and diesel. *Huge drink selection *Plenty of Buc-ee's® swag *Food counter that features pulled pork and brisket sammiches *Huge jerky selection *Warm nuts *Clothes and other stuff *Restrooms are immaculate and HUGE *Renowned for not allowing semis into their parking lots ("...aren't designed to accomodate truckers," per their general counsel) *Prices are fairly inexpensive *Friendly service The Meh: *Beer and wine only (i.e., no liquor) The Ugly: *The place is kind of a mad house of people as their popularity makes them a "must stop"--and seeing that they're the only one in the state, then everyone comes here. TLDR: Nice spot to stop at while on the road. While I don't necessarily agree with the idolatry that goes along with them, I definitely understand it. read more

First time seeing a Buc-ee's, so of course, I had to stop. My first impression was met with a massive store with an even bigger selection of items, from fresh food and jerky to souvenirs. Naturally, I couldn't resist picking up a tumbler and a few other Buc-ee's items. For food, I went with the chopped brisket sandwich with BBQ sauce, and I have to say, it was delicious. It's easily one of the best brisket sandwiches I've ever had, not just at a restaurant, but at a gas station, no less. The restrooms were very clean, and overall, the entire place was spotless and well-organized. My only gripe was the jerky prices--they were pretty outrageous--but everything else seemed priced just right. Overall, Buc-ee's lived up to the hype, and I'd recommend stopping by if you get the chance! read more

Wow, was blowen away by this place. This is by far the largest gas station, tourist attraction, souveniors, cleanest bathrooms, speciality items, regular convience, bakery, sandwich, clothes, even 22 different kinds of fudge. Thos place reminded my boyfriend and I of Cabelas/ Walmart/ Sheetz...Bathrooms were massive for a gas station and clean. 120 gas pumps, unsure amount of electric charge station for cars, and over 300 employees and friendly staff and even free samples of their speciality products. If you find yourself in need of gas and in Richmond KY , be sure to stop. read more

Relatively new, this Buc-ee's looks just like the others I have been to in Georgia and Florida and South Carolina, other than there is more Kentucky merchandise. Of course, the brisket is smelling delicious, the restrooms are amazingly clean and the gas is a good ten cents cheaper per gallon than others in the area. Easy to access and lots of registers open with friendly folks. Wow, I wish more places were Buc-ee's. Oh, and why don't they have any seating or picnic tables? If you haven't been to a Buc-ee's yet, it is worth a stop for the experience. As an EV owner, having charging spors for all cars is huge for ev road trips. The lot is immaculate. Much to my delight, there are sqwuegees for windshields at eaxh chargi by location, the pumps, the dog area, and the air pumps. It is convienient. They have thought of everything. The staff is begond friendly. Met teo guys keeping rhe dog park and lot cleaned. They directed me to rhe window cleaner. Couldn't have been nicer. Also, the area is beautiful with views for miles on a claar day. This is a great stop when on a 9 hr road trip! read more

My boyfriend and I drove all the way from Chicago just to have a Buc-ees experience together. Where do I begin? We drove here with the intention of eating brisket sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, pecan cranberry chicken salad, pastries, jerky, beaver nuggets, banana pudding, take advantage of the fountain drink machines, and buy cool souvenirs. In one night we were able to cross off all the things on our Buc-ees to do list and Richmond, Kentucky did not disappoint us at all! The place was extremely clean even with countless people walking in and out every second and the employees greeted us with nothing but amazing energy and smiles! No wonder why this gas station/travel stop is highly praised. We had an amazing and memorable experience here and can't wait to stop by again. Thank you Kentucky! read more

Clean restrooms- a plus always. However, the chipped brisket at this Buc-ees was lacking. Way too much sauce for the amount of meat. I have eaten at Buc-ees in Texas and a couple of other states. This is the worst meal experience. Just a blob of sweet doughy bread. Very disappointing. Maybe as this chain has grown its quality has declined? Sigh. read more

We've stopped here before. Gas pump did not print our receipt so remember your pump number and they can print at the register. Employees are great. My complaint is of the customers - or maybe the employees can manage this. PEOPLE! If you are going to get gas then get your gas and then pull your car in a parking spot! Do NOT leave your car at the pump and take your whole family inside to shop & use the restrooms! There are many people that need gas and it is ridiculous that you parked your car at the pump. I hope Buccee's tows or issues your car a ticket! Please be considerate of others trying to fill their gas tank. read more

This is a monster gas station (not a truck stop because trucks are not allowed) on the highway. It actually seems like more of a big box store than anything else. You can buy all sorts of Buc-ee's-branded clothing and household knick-knacks. You can buy hot food to-go (there is no seating so you have to eat in your vehicle) or any and all kinds of grab-and-go stuff. Just be prepared to stand in line to check out. Don't expect to get gas, use the restroom, and grab a drink and bag of chips in less than 15 minutes. Im a couple years the hype of this place will die down and then travellers should be able to quickly get in and out of here. read more

This was the first Buc-ees I've been to and boy did we have a time! The bathrooms were SO clean they didn't have a small. There was no water on the floor. They were actively cleaning the stalls and sinks. The soap smelled like eucalyptus. The food was actually good. We got: Chopped brisket sandwiches Pulled pork sandwiches Southwest chicken wraps Buc-ess cheese puffs and kettle chips Icees (my cousins went crazy for the Dr. Pepper flavor) All around the food was great. I was skeptical because...it's a gas station. However, this place lived up to the hype and the staff was friendly too! read more

I'm trying to figure out why people are obsessed with this place. The food was not that great. It is enormous in size. They have branded themselves in so many ways. It is beyond crowded. First time at a Buc-ee's. Oh my this place is huge and the number of gas pumps seems unlimited. Big, clean, and plentiful stalls in the bathroom. Food and drink stations galore. I ended up having a double stacked beef brisket sandwich. It was simply delicious. For some snacks as well. I've heard a lot of good things about the jerky but was a bit disappointed. Well this was a fun experience! We don't have Buc-ee's in Indiana, so we had to stop on our road trip to North Carolina. Not only was it the cheapest gas we found during the trip but they literally have everything and anything you could want! Home goods, food, drinks, outdoor supplies- if you forgot something, you'll likely find it here. The bathrooms are also very clean and spacious, which everyone appreciates on a road trip stop. We picked up the chopped brisket sandwiches, a burrito and key lime dessert and all the food was pretty good! Especially the brisket sandwiches- better than some BBQ joints. They offer a variety of things. Food, drinks, shop for gifts, home and yourself. The roasted pea and are amazing! It's worth going to!

On the road traveling and stopped for gas. WHOAH!! Was not expecting this experience. And it was quite the experience. I was overwhelmed only because I didn't expect this. There are like a million pumps. There was a long carline coming off the hallway to turn in but that was deceptive because there were plenty open pumps. The inside is huge. They have hot food, pastries, drinks. And the checkout moves extremely fast. It was packed with people everywhere. I actually forgot that I had to use the bathroom I was distracted. Oh and outside you can take a picture with Buckee. Great service. You can tell these folks come to work ready to go. I got a lemon bar, red velvet cake pop ($2.99) so delicious and double chocolate cake pop from the bakery. They also had cookies and other pastries. If you don't do a lot of people this is not the gas stop for you. read more

So my Mr. and I dropped by this monster gas station on a Sunday morning. I don't care what time of day it is, they are always going to be packed! If you get anxiety over crowds or can't wait in traffic, this is not the place for you. It's nots easy access to get in and out of. It's super busy and huge! When you go inside, it's like a Walmart but on steroids. You name it, they have it. We had to try the food. Especially the bbq. It smelled so good that we got a brisket sandwich to go. Was it good?! Yes! We could not wait that we ate it in the car right away. Also we Couldn't help ourselves so we bought a couple of souvenirs and more food. It's like the dollar tree, you can't leave out with just one item. I will say this... their bathrooms are super clean! So I can see why this place is a must visit. They are at the top of their game. It maybe overrated but I love it! read more

HOT BRISKET ON THE BOARD! Second Buc-ee's experience and won't be the last! Ventured just south of Lexington to Richmond, KY to get a Buc-ee's experience in! They offer all the much loved typical items: branded everything- apparel, shoes, snacks, jerky, fudge, chips, travel items, decor, seasonal items, and more! The restrooms are known for being extremely clean, food and snacks are delicious, and who doesn't get a good smile from seeing Buc-ee! If you haven't been, make the stop. read more

Many things went wrong on this stop. 1) The pump quit working after we put 3 gallons in. 2) No Pepsi products. I had to get a fountain drink to get Diet Dr. Pepper because they don't carry the bottle. 3) I stood there at the bakery counter for 5 minutes before the extremely rude lady (who was busy putting muffins on a display tray and then into the case) decided I was worthy of her time. She even made eye contact with me and just kept doing what she was doing. 4) We bought food: two sandwiches; sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage biscuit. Half the sausage egg and cheese ended up sticking to the wrapping. I could have gotten a better sausage biscuit from Wendy's. We bought a sausage and cheese kolche, ate half and threw away the rest. The two stars are for our cashier (Paige I believe her name was) who was awesome, the clean bathrooms, and the candied cashews. read more

Way overpriced and very crowded! Clean bathrooms as others have mentioned. Lots of Knick knacks, souvenirs, clothes, snacks, food, drinks, and coffee. I have to give an unexpected shout out to Buc-ee's tonight. Ran by the Richmond location to grab gas and and a pecan log (judge me if you must).
