Pass on this one, Expensive, no menus, didnt refill drinks, wife and I got sick…read more.. Went there for xmas, big mistake! Kind of a hole in the wall place so you figure its not going to be too pricey. Of course, you cant tell since there was no menu. The waitress gave 3 options which there was only one of the chicken so really only 2 options. For the prime rib, you couldnt choose how you wanted it done so it came overdone of course. I actually had an allergic reaction to it and couldnt finish, so they are either cooking with peanut oil or mixing pans with the seafood... I could have used some refills on my drink but didnt get it even though the place wasnt that busy. The bill came at the end, $20 each. I had prime rib which you might figure $15 to $20 for but my wife had linguini which should have been more like $10. But looking at the restaurant as a whole, you would figure less than that. Of course, a menu would have come in handy here. Also, My wife ended up sick with a stomach ache and diarhea afterwards so I would question how clean their kitchen is run. Overall, destroyed our christmas. I wrote a letter to them detailing the problems and have received no response.

This place is great!…read more The service is always very outgoing and friendly; I am picky about my hot chocolate, and they'll make it with unsweetened cocoa powder to allow me to sweeten it to my own taste - that's outgoing! The pastries are all made in-house (except for the cookies), and they are actually very good; they are tasty without being overly sweet or oily. I had the steak omelet during the weekend brunch menu hours, and my bf had the french-toast-stuffed Belgian waffle; they were both delicious, especially the waffle. They expanded a few years ago into the space next door making it an even nicer place to meet friends or use a laptop to get some work done. I do have one minor nitpick: they use non-dairy whipped cream; I wish they'd use the real stuff. And the best part is that overall value high since everything is pretty reasonably priced.
