So, so, so good! We stopped in for the bakery driving by and were so impressed with the staff, baked goods and menu that we made sure to come back the next day for brunch. Firstly, the chef has immense attention and care for their food. It is evident in the flavors, the presentation, and the fresh quality. The four of us all loved our various appetizers and meals. Between us we had the southern omelette, the corned beef hash breakfast, the spinach salad, a special made hamburger salad, potato pancakes and smothered fries. LOVED my spinach salad with grilled chicken added and the potato pancakes have the best spices. Oh and don't forget the coffee...it's robust. This place is definitely going to be on our must-visit list every time we come to Inverness.

We had a very pleasant breakfast experience at Central Cafe and bakery. Our server was very nice and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food. I had the Denver omelette which was delicious and my husband had the biscuits and gravy which he also enjoyed. The coffee was good and wasn't your typical watered down cup of diner coffee. The place is very clean and looks freshly painted. The ambience has a nice modern country feel to it. We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu.

Party of six for Sunday breakfast. A little overpriced for the product. Two egg omelet $13 was ordered with cheese and spinach. No spinach. She ate it with no return. Biscuits and gravy was well received as was the French toast. Two eggs sunny side looked small on the plates they use. Arriving late my wife had a small fruit cup, i had a blueberry muffin with real blueberries but served cold Adding two coffees came to $14.31.... Someday we will try them again but not soon....

First things first. The trip from SW Ocala is well worth the drive. When you head to the door we experienced smiling faces leaving with contentment and joy which is a fraction of what I experienced. When we entered it looked freshly remodeled with cleanliness in mind and a functional floor space. Welcoming is what we experienced. The mimosas were perfect! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly breaded with remoulade sauce to top them with. Our meals were so tasty and decent with portions more than filling. The California breakfast was tasty and well compiled with love. The onion rings are to die for, also perfectly battered. The sweet potato fries perfectly cooked. The Croque Mondieur was amazing. I added Tomatoe and bacon with syrup to top. My only complaint is that I haven't been here before. National advertising would be great for your hotel and amazing kitchen. I look forward to being in the area again to experience the food and staff all over again. The onion rings are to die for also perfectly battered. Staff shout outs to Lexi, Seth, the chef, the manager and the owner. We are grateful for the experience and suggest that everyone visits at least 3 times a week.

Today is my birthday so my darling wife went early to get me a Poke Bowl. They usually have some premade but today didn't have any. The woman working the counter said she would make one for her so my wife ordered 2, one tuna and one tuna and salmon (after all, it's my birthday). I was excited about this as I was going to get not one, but two of my favorite sushi dishes... but my excitement waned when I saw them. it was very obvious that these were made by a different person than the person who made my last dozen or so bowls. I kept up my hopes but I quickly realized that these were made very differently. Not just their appearance but these were mostly rice and the kicker was that they have about a quarter of the sushi. This was very disappointing. Happy Birthday to me, but not at Publix. Bottom line, we'll be much more aware before wasting our hard earned money on at best, mediocre sushi.

We love the Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters…read more Great food, except once in a while someone doesn't bake a batch of muffins long enough. Taste and texture are affected. Meanwhile 99% of the time, the pastries are great. I'm sure, after reading this review, the owner will talk to the staff and remind them a very pale muffin is an unbaked muffin. They make and bake their own goods. You can see them do it in their "open to the viewer" kitchen. The owner, James, is a certified chef. He teaches his staff how to bake and make coffee the right way. It is our go to breakfast treat...and sometimes lunch with company. The place is clean and peaceful, comfy to sit, read, to meet with friends, clients, to write, etc.. And they offer wifi...who doesn't these days. Give it a try.

There's also an abundance of electric outlets and USB ports if you need.
