    Great cappuccino

I'm not familiar with this part of Zurich so I find it interesting to see this place was so busy on Sunday. Many because they offer English breakfast which comes with bacon, beans and sausage and fried eggs. I rarely see knuspermüslie so it was good to try it here, although it's overpriced at 8,50 CHF. Basically it's crunchy granola cluster with nuts. Cappuccino was pretty good though. As it was busy and small, I didn't feel relaxing so I probably won't be here for brunch again as there are other places nowadays offering brunch at more peaceful atmosphere.

A really happy brunch. The English breakfast was made with a lot of love. I think we went at the time of Sunday church so the place was empty. We loved it! We soon need to find cheaper places to eat :D

A cute and lovely little cafe, perfect for a weekend brunch. The staff is extremely accommodating (they had perfect English and English menus!) and very kind. We ordered the pariser breakfast, which came with a croissant, challah bread, wheat bread, butter, and delicious strawberry jam, the cinnamon sugar french toast, and the hummus bagel. Highly recommend the hummus bagel -- the bagel was very hearty and the hummus is homemade and delicious. Pro tip: Almost every restaurant and shop is closed on Sundays in Switzerland, but Bubbles is open! We were so happy with our experience we even tried to go back for dinner (alas, they only serve breakfast and lunch)! All in all, a definite must-try in Zurich.

Great place for English breakfast comfort food.

Perfect little family owned place to get great English breakfast comfort food. A rare find in Zurich.

Decent brunch spot/cafe. The bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon doesn't have much salmon in it but it hit the spot for this New Yorker. The coffee is decent and the staff are extremely friendly. They work efficiently as well even when the place is full (even when it's mostly empty) they won't give you trouble for ordering tap water either which is always appreciated. The "spicy" French toast with cheese is interesting--extremely pungent and a bit soggy but it's a decent breakfast/brunch dish for anyone who appreciated stinky Swiss cheese. It is conveniently located and has plenty of space to accommodate large groups so i have never made a reservation. There is also outdoor seating but small tables and not much of a view. I also noticed dogs are allowed which seems par for the course in this city!

These were all delicious. I was hesitant about trying the veal since I've never tried it. I'm so glad I did because it was soooo good. The meat was tender and the mushroom sauce very tasty. I highly recommend this dish. My husband loved the chicken. Loved the calamari. Service: What can I say. Thomas, our server, was the best. He catered to us like we were family. He recommended the chicken and veal. We've never experienced anybody automatically recommending dishes to us unless we ask. Thomas made sure we had the best experience and gave us a few recommendations. We were definitely not disappointed. Thank you Thomas. You're the best! Ambiance: This cafe is right off the river Limat. You can choose to enjoy your meal or drink in the patio or inside. The staff are very friendly and wecome you with a smile. So if you're in Zurich, definitely check out this place and ask for Thomas. Great experience. Definitely recommend this place. 5+++ stars*

The expresso martini was a little more on the spendy side but still pretty yummy! They made the drink fairly strong so that was a plus! View is beautiful and workers were really nice and friendly!

An excellent artisanal brunch in a mellow setting…read more Three of us shared two house-made granola's with yogurt and a Justus Brunch: hot drink, juice, rolls, butter & jam, cheese, sliced aged meats, and eggs (we chose scrambled). The granola & yogurt was excellent (especially the fresh fruit), the eggs fluffy, the cheeses ranging from almost runny to very sharp (there was some debate among the waitstaff as to whether we'd gotten the Sbrinz or Gruyère). In addition, the atmosphere was homey and relaxed --- we felt like we were family friends visiting an old farmhouse, rather than waiting in line for an upholstered booth. The front half of the shop sells most of the same food and ingredients (including real molasses, as opposed to the corn syrup "molasses spread" at some grocery stores). We did notice some of the veggie bins didn't look to have very high turnover --- be sure to check your produce.

It is a mix of a sustainable store within a cafe where you can buy basic organic food either to prepare at home, have some takeaway or stay and sit down at one of the tables. I only had proper lunch once but boy that was very good! It was well spiced and had the taste of "I cooked it with love" in it. So I defenitly want to go back to check out that love flavour again. They usually have one meal with meat and one vegeterian option. Always a daily soup which you may buy to go. They also sell small bakery goods such as cakes, tartes or bagels. They use interesting ingredients, such as brie with some sort of fruit or scamorzza cheese with carrots or beef roast, and much more. They seem to have vegan options, too. Today it was a sandwich with hummus spread. So there is coffee, there is food, nice staff, everything is sustainable but thats not the end of the list yet: the MAGAZINES!!! It is very dangerous for me to sit down and grab a magazine. Because they have a fantastic selection of brain food such as Swiss magazines, newspapers and I always feel tempted to bing read. I just realised: still not the end of the list! There is free wifi. Yes, the world is a good place to live in. STOP! Still not the end of the list: when the weather is warm enough you even can sit outside. Now you're flabbergasted, aren't ya? :) So why not 5 stars? I think there is just a tiny bit of room for improvent and maybe one day I will change it to 5 stars.
