They told us where they buy their macarons, and explained that it came from a nearby bakery that only uses Swiss-local ingredients in their products. The next day we were again on the hunt for coffee and immediately went back to this cafe, rather than taking a chance and finding something we didn't like. The owners remembered us from the day before, and were interested in hearing how our trip was going so far, and what else we had planned. We made the same order as the day before, and they told us today's espresso was different from the day before. Today's espresso was Kenyan, and the day before had been Latin American. Maybe I got that backwards, but either way, we enjoyed listening to the description of the different tasting notes between the two roasts. We also shared a beer, which of course was a Zurich-local brew. The vibe at this cafe is very fun and relaxing. It is located inside Seven Friday, as it is a pop-up cafe.
