Hadn't had deck power washed for several years, and it was REALLY dirty... thought some of it might be stains. Marco came out with new-style large disk power washer (not the old single jet) and the results were amazing while not risking any damage to the wood. Absolute worst service I have received to date by a service of this kind. Window washer showed up at 4pm on a Friday which was hours after he was scheduled to show up and was there til 8pm. Tech was also supposed to clean gutters but didn't have a ladder. When I complained they proceeded to send someone out to clean gutters a week later and that person did not clean the gutters of my garage bc apparently that's a separate charge even though that was never told to me or my wife. Very unhappy about the service I received. I will never use them again. read more

A solid F. Back story: I used them a couple of years ago with terrible results -- several no shows, they were sloppy, unprofessional, and left a mess on my neighbor's side of the fence. I left an appropriate review online. Last year in addition to the constant robocalls that I couldnt seem to halt, they called personally to say they were under new management, and they begged me to give them another chance. Being open minded, I tried to schedule them a couple of times in the fall, but they didn't return my calls. Eventually, it was too cold for the job. This spring I called and reminded them of the past results, and of their plea to try them again. A clever supervisor would have ensured that the job was assigned to an experienced, competent crew so that all would go smoothly. That did not happen. The siding job was done first. They asked me to check out the work before they began the windows. I pointed out that there were still dark spots on the front of the house where it had been egged a while ago. They claimed it wouldn't come off without damaging the siding. I reached out the window, sprayed some windex on it and showed them that it would rub right off. I asked them to please go out onto the porch roof and wipe off the spots by hand, but they refused. I asked them to power wash it again, but they refused that too. They said they would have had to wash the entire side of the house again, which they wouldn't do. i asked if they expected me to go onto the roof to finish the job myself and they said yes. So that's what I ended up doing! Next came the windows. The 2-man crew was incredibly slow and did a terrible job on both the storms and the regular windows. When they told me they were done, hours later, I pointed out that many of the windows were still dirty. By that point I just wanted them gone, though, so I said goodbye. After they left I noticed that they completely skipped all of the. basement windows! I called the manager and asked to have an experienced crew come back to redo the dirty windows. A very nice, professional guy came with an assistant the next day. He looked at all of the windows and said that of all the 40+ windows in the house, he could find only ONE that was clean and didn't have to be re-washed. he could even begin to defend the work of the other crew. These two new guys didn't have time on their schedule to redo an entire house's windows, so they said they would tell the company to schedule him for another full day. When I called the company to do that, I felt the need to point out how ridiculous it was that their opportunity to win back my business had totally backfired. Having had no success dealing with the very inexperienced-sounding receptionists, I insisted on talking to the owner. He admitted that they had totally screwed up and offered to either (1) re-do all of the windows at a discount on the original quote for windows + siding (around $400ish?) or (2) we could leave things as they stood and waive the fees for what had been done. I had absolutely no interest in opening myself to more no-shows and screw ups, so I chose the latter and paid nothing. i was surprised and disappointed at what an epic failure this was. Management had a great opportunity to turn things around, but only succeeded in making things worse. I would never use them again. read more

Very unhappy with this company. Guy came and washed a whole bunch of windows in 15 minutes. Missed a few on the back of my house. When I called to complain, they said they would send someone out to complete the job. But it would be first thing on Monday morning. I didn't want to be first thing in the morning. I emailed this back to the person and she didn't get back to me. Then over the week end I called during business hours and they said they would return my call in 30 minutes. No call. Did receive a call Monday morning early saying that someone would be here about 10. It's now 12"30 and no one has come. Not a good way to run a business. Think twice before using them. Bubbles quoted me $160 on the phone, and changed that to $401 when they came to my house. My screen porch was left a shambles, full of dirt and leaves with all the furniture pushed to center of the room, and they never cleaned the windows that had screens in them. When I called about these issues, I was told I'd receive a $100 discount. The company also sent me an email indicating that the job would not be closed until the issue was resolved, but my check was cashed anyway. I should've checked my porch and everything else before they left. read more

I've used Bubbles to clean the gutters on the 2 story home every year for the past 3-4 years and I have to say this last experience was appalling. Prior to this last visit I always experienced great service. A crew would arrive, get to work, finish in about 30 minutes. They don't haul away the debris but they would always bag it up and leave it at the end of the driveway. This time... yeah, that was not the experience. 2 men arrived (prior to this visit there were 4 men) and told me they would be starting on the gutters. About 5 minutes later they told me they needed the hose on to rinse the gutters. So I went into the crawlspace to turn it on, one of the men went with me, and after turned the valve I realized that the pipe must have had residual water in it and froze. Anyway, the man went back to work and said he looked in all the downspouts and could see that they were clear so he really didn't need the water. I said ok, went back inside. While inside I heard banging on the gutters - which is strange and should not be happening as you can wind up (a) damaging the gutter itself or (b) ripping it off the house. About 20 minutes later they said they were done, I paid them via check and they left. I had to run to an appointment so didn't have a chance to look around but like I said, I've used Bubbles before so I wasn't worried. Ha, yeah. These men left leave and debris from the gutters in clumps all over my backyard. But, it's like they thought I would be back there or something because they cleaned up and bagged the front yard. Then I noticed that one of my gutters was leaking and sure enough there is a gash in one of my gutters. I suspect that they banged a little too hard and sliced through the gutter. Needless to say neither one of these men told me. So now I have the amazing task of cleaning up all the crap they left in my yard and fixing a leaking gutter. Is it the end of the world? No, but that's because I know how to install and repair gutters. What if I didn't? Then I'd have to pay someone else to fix an issue that Bubbles caused. I paid $165 to a company that is supposed to specialize in cleaning gutters expecting my house to be in the same condition it was when they started AND to not have to clean up after them. We reached out to them about the shitty service and, surprise, haven't heard back. I really wish that I had checked Yelp before hiring them again because clearly the company has gone down hill since the last time we used them. Regardless, I would never use Bubbles again to clean my gutters and I do not recommend them to anyone else. read more

Had a cleaning on October 15th. Looked at the downspout that weekend and it was clogged. Sent an e-mail to Sameera Mirza, Customer Care Representative. After two weeks of no response, I followed up again and they apologized for the delay and 'would look into it.' A week passed and I was told: (Exact e-mail.) "When I talked to the management team they told me that this concern was under investigation. They told me they will come up with a decision and let me know. I will let you know how we can rectify the situation. So sorry for the delay. Thank you, Sameera" Under investigation? It's a clogged gutter that would take 2 minutes to fix. Since it took a month and was still 'under investigation' I told them do not come back, I would clean it myself. Avoid this business at all cost. read more

On June 16, 2016 I hired Bubbles, Glenview, Il to clean newly installed, never before cleaned windows. There were 110 to clean inside and out , it's s large new ranch. They arrived at about 7:30 and 2 of them were done before noon. The next morning to my horror I saw scratches all over the exterior of the new panes. 70 were damaged! I called and was told they do not use razors. Simon did. They said my contractor did it while removing stickers, but Quaker, the window company, uses vinyl easy peel stickers on the inside of their new panes. Bubbles finally sent an assessor, Mark, in early fall. Mark gave me contact information for glass repair. It totals over $27,000 by actual job estimate. The owner, Keith, whom I have called over a dozen times and spoke to twice has not contacted me as he said he would. I am now paying to repair the windows myself one year later! and suing Bubbles for damaging 70 new windows in my Northbrook home. DO NOT HIRE BUBBLES WINDOW CLEANING. Sometimes damages occur and THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE THEY CAUSE TO YOUR HOME. read more

First time customer, had a GREAT experience! We did both power washing and windows (inside and out) and were very impressed by the professionalism during the job and by the great results. Our windows look absolutely great and they were able to get all the grime and gunk out of the tracks too. They also did our basement window wells and those look stunning, like new! Really appreciated how considerate and accommodating the crew was, we asked them to do the nursery first so the baby could nap, and they did. Was not impressed when they gave us an estimate over the phone and then proceeded to tell us it would be twice the price once the crew had arrived. When we used this service a few years ago they charged us $320 for the whole house, but this time they wanted to charge over $700 for the exact same job! Had a very bad experience with both scheduling the appointment and the service of the technicians. On the day of the appointment, they gave a 10-12 am timeslot, but called at 1:30 to say that they couldn't be there until 3:00. I therefore rescheduled. When they returned 2 weeks later, the technicians "forgot" to powerwash the garage as I discussed with them when they arrived (which I then had to call and schedule for a third appointment). They then proceeded to give me a bill for 25% OVER the estimate. Unacceptable. Also, despite washing the windows, many windows were left with spots and debris. Very dissapointed. Wow! I have used Bubbles in the past. The last time I used their services was about 3 - 4 years ago. Back then, they were great, which is why we hired them again at this new house to clean the exterior windows. Scheduled it for yesterday, Monday September 17th, between 11 am and 1 pm. We had planned on being home, but at around 11:30 we had to take the dog to the vet for an unscheduled visit. I called Bubbles and explained we may not be home when the crew first arrived but that we would return shortly. The dispatcher assured me that it was no problem. We saw the vet and made it home by 12:15. We waited until 1:30pm and still no Bubbles and no phone call. I called the dispatcher again and asked what had happened and she said that they were running late and that she would call me back with an estimated time of arrival. NO CALL BACK!! It is now Tuesday and still, no one from the company has called to reschedule or apologize or explain what happened. I feel badly for the company because years ago it was great. I should have read the yelp reviews before I called this time because it appears I am not the only one who has had issues with them. Look elsewhere for reliable service. read more

Been a long time customer having bubbles clean gutters for my rental properties in Northbrook, IL. I had service performed in march and my tenant gave me a call saying bubbles had left 2 bags full of leaves in the middle of her lawn, both breaking open when she attempted to move them to the trash pick up where they were supposed to be left. Upon calling bubbles they told her it would be near a week out for them to come pick up the bags they left on the lawn. Unhappy with service she calls to complain again. I personally receive a call from a man claiming to be a owner of the company apologizing and saying he will take care of the service that was done for me as an apology. 3 months later after I still receive calls to pay for service that I was told was taken care of, and when explaining the situation they can not seem to find anyone to stand by what I was told. This will be the last time I pay for service from bubbles. read more
