I called the first week of April to get on their schedule early. Charles started work on Thursday 4/25. After showing up without notice very sporadically and spending most of the time sitting in a rented van in my driveway, I began calling asking for an end date for the cleaning. I wasn't seeing any progress. Ashley gave me the same story every time I called, "just a few more days" "mid next week" and now "it should be done by Monday (Memorial Day)." As you can see from photos - there was zero progress. Pool is still deep green and totally unusable. It's now been four full weeks of the runaround and I'm left scrambling to find another company that can fit me in. I missed out on memorial weekend and had to change my guests' plans. I'm several weeks behind schedule and of course they waited until everyone was booked up, so now I will have to wait several more weeks. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe it. Every time I go in my backyard and see my festering green pool, I feel sick. I wish I had started with a new company rather than trying to remain loyal to the vendors the previous home owners used. Huge mistake. And it really pisses me off coming on here and seeing recent reviews - clearly they've been working, just not with the person who booked April 3rd!

I really liked how he explained to me the bad and the good news on how to problem solve our issues. I took his advice and within minutes, this company text me some options while keeping in mind I had a budget. What is better is they are going to come right back out next week and install my new cleaner. I am pretty excited to finally be done with old issues from an inherited pool. These guys understood what I needed and I finally felt like I was in good hands with servicing old pool equipment. Very fair and did not try to sell me on several things that my pool very obviously needed. Keeping these guys on my contacts in my phone.

I hired him to backfill my pool and asked if he really was able to do that, he agreed and so we moved forward with him. Since the beginning he was pushy and wanted to get paid right away. After the first payment he was unresponsive and no communication at all. I would constantly have to reach out to see if he was still planning to come out. While we were going through the walkthrough, he said that it would be $4k for low-grade soil which will include bricks, large debris and rocks or we pay $6K extra ($10K total) to get "clean rough grade soil". Since my wife and I were getting rid of our pool for safety concerns with our two young daughters, we agreed to the upcharge. They said it would take 3 days to complete but it took 10. Furthermore it was agreed that he would level my yard with proper runoff so there would be no puddling in the middle of my yard. Now, this was done in December of 2025 so I was not able to get to upkeeping my yard until this past March and what do I find? Whole bricks, a mini bolder of concrete, large rocks, puddling in my backyard and the yard wasn't leveled at all. I reached out to the 24/7 number that is listed on their site to let him know that this is an issue that needs to be taken care of but, of course, I did not hear from him until days later. When I finally was able to get him on the phone and come out to my house he told me that he would get this taken care of and make it right. Then, once he left, he was texting me saying he can't level my yard anymore and can't guarantee that runoff will occur and can only "Remove visible debris with light grading and lay top soil." That's not what I paid for. I asked for a new contract be written up saying everything he would be doing and he refused. I cannot believe that this is a legitimate business and a complaint has been filed against them. This has been one of the most baffling, unprofessional experiences I have ever had. Be warned

I don't usually leave reviews, but I must in this case. To give you some background, I had an…read moreentire Hayward system put in originally to automate everything for my pool. I had the pool company put a top-of-the-line system in because I really didn't want to spend a time monitoring everything. It is a larger saltwater fiberglass pool that we went with and we only put it in five years ago. The Hayward system was never that user-friendly, nor did it really tell you what was going on with your pool chemistry. So I was doing the test strips or I kept bringing in the sample waters for testing and was told something was way off. The local Pool company in Rock Hill came out and said my salt water generator was not working properly. They said, however, that everything else seem to be working well. So I took it upon myself too buy a Hayward salt-water generator, and install it myself as it was easy, but the system kept faulting on me, so I called the local pool company and they refused to come out, even though I wanted to pay them, because I did not buy the salt water generator from them. So after searching, I was fortunate enough to find Swift Water and the owner, Andy Shook. He came over promptly and did a lot of testing only to discover that the Hayward motherboard was crashing, and none of the other features were really working, so how the local pool company missed all this I will really never understand. Andy priced out putting in a new Hayward system for me, and it was really expensive and I was frustrated because Hayward has not stood up to test a time in my opinion. However, Andy was able to show me another solution, and I am thrilled. He priced everything out for me and wow, the system we ended up going with was almost the same as the Hayward system, it is such a remarkable upgrade. He installed a product named Poolside Tech and I am in love. It completely monitors my poor chemistry, so no longer do I need to do test strips or bring my pool water in. On top of that it integrated with the Hayward systems that were still operational so I didn't have to swap everything out which saved me a lot of money. The other thing about Andy I found is that he has to be one of the most caring owners I've ever found. He is able to monitor my pool water remotely and noticed an issue and came back to fix it without even me asking. So if you're like myself, and believe you pay for what you get and want quality, you need to schedule a time to meet with Andy and see everything he has to offer. He is a man of faith and old-fashioned business ethics and is so nice and refreshing to see these days. I am so impressed with how things are operating and his system that I wish I could leave a 10 star review on here. Thank you, Swiftwater and Andy Shook
