There had to be at least two whole chicken breasts, maybe more. I also got a mango green tea with lychee boba. The green tea had a bit of a floral flavor. The service is go quick. I found this place during the summer looking for somewhere to take my nieces. We have been here several times! We have eaten outside , inside and taken the food / drinks to go. I love the customization available. The food and drinks don't take too long to make so typical an hour long process from order to finish eating / drinking . Parking may be the only issue and seating. The outdoor seating isn't always available or in a condition to sit at. Tables have fallen / tipped and our food has fallen. The drink itself has broken open ( due to younger kids playing with the straw lol) . This is by far my favorite bubble tea shop in Athens. While the boba consistency might not be consistent, the variety of food options and the cheap price well makes up for it. I highly recommend the Poke Bowls and the Veggie Tofu Udon Noodle Soup with medium spice. Bubble Cafe is also the only locally owned, non-chain bubble tea establishment in the area and it feels good supporting a local family. Plenty of seating, free wifi, and a usually not overly boisterous atmosphere make Bubble Cafe a great place to study or work even during the school year when Athens is flooded with students. read more

The best bubble tea in Athens!! Skip the boba tea chains and come here instead. They even have great Taiwanese food here, on top of unique boba tea flavors. Their previous location was a charming hole in the wall and I'm really happy that they were doing well enough in order to upgrade to a storefront. With the change of location also came new decor for the interior, new packaging for their drinks, and new menus and drinks. It really transformed from a local shop to a modern boba shop! One of my favorite places to go to in athens. Their bubble tea has been, and always will be, one of my favorites. They have such a wide selection of flavors so there's always something new to try. Their food is also amazing! One of my absolute favorites (not pictured) is their chicken noodle udon soup. It's the perfect go to on a chilly winter day or if you're feeling a little cold coming on and just want something comforting. They also have a lot of good, and well priced, snack options. Today I had the cheese wontons and their salt and pepper chicken nuggets. The wontons are so warm and creamy and pair perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce it comes with and the salt and pepper chicken nuggets are perfectly crispy and, you guessed it, salty! A perfect pairing for a milk tea to balance out the saltiness. Their current location has a lot more seating and space than their old one and is decorated so cute! Parking can be a little difficult depending on the day of the week since it's on a busy street in downtown Athens. The employees working the counter are always really nice and the service is typically very quick, even when it seems really busy! Definitely a gem of Athens and I've loved getting to see them grow and expand :) read more

The service is always great, and food and drinks always come out in a reasonable amount of time. The restaurant itself is very cozy, and there's games like Jenga and other card games available to pass the time. It can get a bit loud in there if it's busy, so bring headphones if you plan on studying! My favorites are the thai tea, taro, or jasmine! Their poke bowls are also a go-to lunch for me and my friends. For one bowl of poke, I tend to get two meals out of it! Not really many bubble tea options in Athens but this is good! Highly recommend the Freshly Squeezed Grapefruit Tea with Boba! It's kind of pricey and only comes in one large size but it's super fresh when compared to many other teas that are made from powder. There is actual grapefruit pulp in it. It's not too sweet and perfectly tart. It's much lighter than milk tea. The snacks + meals here are really good! I really like the chicken katsu. The meal comes with rice, broccoli (like 2 pieces though) and half an egg. You can also get it just the chicken as a snack. Place is really small and you take the stairs down to get into this place. This place is the most awful boba/bubble tea place I have been to. I want to give this place zero stars if I can. My fiance and I have been going to this place for over a year, overpaying for a place that has a smelly bathroom every time, and the quality of drinks has went way down in the last year. When we first came here, the Tiramisu MT had been my favorite. Afterwards, I had tried other drinks, and none of them match up to the Tiramisu. Unfortunately, the Tiramisu MT is made from powder, which is not what I want when I have my bubble tea. We went there again last night for a treat, only to be disappointed, again. Once again, the ladies bathroom smelled like urine. There were burnt candles on the bathroom stand to cover up the rancid smell. I checked to see if there is Lysol spray in the bathroom; there was, and a Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaner on the floor, under the bottom bathroom shelf. Apparently, their staff either does not like to clean bathrooms or does not know how to keep their bathrooms sanitary. Every time I spend money here, the bathroom in this place smells rancid, even when it's not busy. What really did it for us, is what I saw on the bathroom shelf--the "Pop" bubbles for the bubble tea and a boba tea making kit. They were not opened, but putting food items in the bathroom is a health hazard. Maybe the college students don't care, but my fiance and I do. We are so done with this place. Overpriced, low quality, and an unpleasant experience. I would not recommend anyone to come here. read more

I don't really like green tea in general but the mango flavor hides it well. Their boba isn't that great and always taste stale and of tap water. Price: Their meals are beyond affordable. For $7 you get a generous portion of protein, a side of rice and vegetables. Their drink prices are pretty standard too. For a large drink with one topping it is $5. Service: The people here are super friendly! The cashiers always greet me with a smile. Atmosphere: super great place for first dates or meeting up with friends! It does get a little stuffy or humid in there though so avoid during the summer. It can get quite loud too so I would avoid the place during rush hours. This cute little place was my rock. Whenever I had a test, I'd go and get takeout from here and bring it back to my apartment. Their red velvet milk tea is one of the things I miss most about Athens.
