    I've been waiting a long time to write this review but I can't wait any longer…read more DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I cannot stress enough how terrible our experience with Bumblebee Occasions and its owner, Sharon, has been. My husband and I trusted them to help plan our wedding (which was October 2023), but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions we ever made. Sharon took our money upfront for services we never received. We hired her to do foral, catering, linens, decor, day-of-coordination, & cake and desserts. After the initial consultation (which she told us is free) and tasting, she disappeared. I never felt comfortable after leaving one single meeting with her. There was always stress on my mind. One month before our wedding, she abruptly cancelled everything and even went as far as contacting our vendors to tell them she had cancelled as well. This left us in an incredibly stressful situation with nothing in place for our big day. When we tried to reach out for a refund, Sharon argued and claimed we owed her for additional "services" like phone calls and emails. Most of these so-called services were actually because she had taken money from our account without authorization, causing overdrafts and immense stress. Mind you we were on a payment plan. We spent months going back and forth with her, only to receive endless excuses and no resolution. It's been a year now trying to get some sort of refund and still nothing. Sharon's unprofessionalism and unethical behavior are beyond belief. Save yourself the headache and avoid Bumblebee Occasions at all costs. This company is a nightmare, and Sharon is a fraud.

My husband and I hired them to do our floral, our catering, and our event planning/management for our wedding. We paid nearly $18K to them. Throughout our planning process, she was MIA. Our contract stated she would check-in monthly at minimum (which didn't happen). The week of my wedding, she gave me zero check-ins/updates on how things were coming along. Mind you--I ended up doing 98% of the planning all myself. I reached out to all my vendors myself to schedule meetings. This was in our contract stated that she would handle. Which didn't happen. The actual day of the wedding--she was so scattered. I didn't hear from her until late afternoon. I get to our venue and she is no where to be found. While we waited for the ceremony to start--my maid of honor noticed that our table settings were not done. My bridesmaids ended up RUNNING around to set all this up 15 minutes before our ceremony. There was no burden lifted off of me and my family on this day which is why I hired BBO in the first place. Now on to floral. I told Sharon on our very first phone call how important this was to me. We had a whole meeting about what I envisioned. My bouquet was literally falling apart. My MOH's bouquet was dead. The corsages that my family wore also had brown edges all around it. Clearly these florals were not fresh or preserved properly which was SO disappointing. Our pergola floral was supposed to be repurposed throughout our reception. It was not in all the places we discussed. Our memorial table had nothing on it. Our sweetheart backdrop also had NO floral on it. We had 3 family tables that had empty vases because BBO forgot to repurpose the bouquets that were meant to be in those vases. This was a huge disappointment to me. Last but not least--catering. Sharon's husband Jerry is the main chef. We had a tasting with him which we were very impressed by. But, we had several guests tell us that their food was served cold. We were supposed to be served salads with cranberries, feta cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette. Instead we were served plain lettuce with some kind of dressing. We also paid EXTRA for our guests to have sweet/unsweetened tea served. Legit spent hundreds of extra dollars to have this "upgraded option" and we did not even get what we paid for! We also paid for a dessert bar which had missing items. Not only that but our cutting cake wasn't the flavor we picked out. Believe it or not, this isn't even all the issues we had with BBO and Sharon. I am appalled at how little regard she has given to our concerns. We reached out to her several times to get a response and she has avoided me at all costs. She has given me excuse after excuse. "I've been busy with our current brides/grooms." "I will get back to you by Sunday at the latest." We were put on the back burner SO many times throughout our time working with her. I gave her a lot of time and grace with this but I've had enough. If she tries to respond saying she tried to talk to me about any of this, just know she is lying. I am not the type of person to go out of my way to write someone a bad review. I am just genuinely wanting other brides to have a better understanding of what you might have to deal with if you hire BBO. Our wedding day would have been perfect otherwise.
