I called a few places in Katy and never got a call back. I called this place and they had plenty of openings. So I thought, that's cool. They were understanding when I had to reschedule. My medium size dog went in for a wash and de-shedding. She went in around nine or ten and came home around lunch time! She smelled good and looked a whole size smaller from all the fur the my blew off! I was just surprised when I heard my total was like $79. I guess that was my bad for not asking to begin with. Found this place by accident but the owner who is also the groomer is wonderful! I took my dog and cat to get cut at the same time! I was able to communicate my needs and was very pleased with the results! This groomer loves animals and that's the most important part! read more

This place is just terrible! Called and told them what I wanted done on my dog. They told me it would be roughly $40. When I went to pick him up it was around $60 and I don't even know what they did! They didn't shave his face or his paws. I think they only gave him a bath and shaved his private parts. He looked awful. Sorry but never going back. You shouldn't waste your money here either. read more

BEWARE!!!! THE GROOMER/OWNER CUTS DOGS The groomer/owner of BB cut my dogs ear. It looks like it has been through a meat grinder, swollen and red. My dog is 5 and has been groomed since she was a baby. Always told shes calm and still. Once the owner told me what happened instead of the owner apologizing and trying to make restitution the owners were blaming the dog. I was never notified by phone when it happened so i could go get her if I chose or notified when I arrived. They waited until after I paid to tell me. And prices have gone up $25 left me paying $60 for a 10 pound dog. AND HE STILL STANK and still has jagged enges, missed spits like tail, feet and whiskers. I then tried to get them to let me take my dog to the vet and the owner said , " i know dogs and she doesn't need to see a vet she's fine" Then after having an in depth conversation she would not allow me to choose my own vet, she insisted I take the dog to her vet, which was very bad management I went to the address she gave me and it turned out to be a man who opens his dirty garage with nothing having to do with pets in the garage. He was on his way to the pool so quickly said its fine. I said I wanted to see a normal vet in his clinic and finally got sent to a 2nd location. 2 hours later and after the 3 hour bath. My dog was stressed and exhausted. They put my dog on 10 days of antibiotics twice a day. As for Covid and the letter she wrote on google about Bubble Buddies following proper safety measures, untrue. Noone at the groomers had a mask on but me. There was no hand sanitizer. The owner never offered a refund or tried to right the wrong. Very disappointing. read more

My dog can't open one ofhis eye after his mini groom today. When I called back to discuss it, the only words they understand are "appointment tomorrow". I will be sending the vet bill. He shakes just pulling into the parking lot!!! Safe yourself the heartache of looking at your suffering fur baby knowing you took them there. read more

Not even a star! My dog had a 10:46am appt today and we were on time, I happened to call around 12:35 to see how much longer did they need for my dog? As I'm on hold I hear the lady pretty much bargain whom she was going to take as far as dogs, meaning they had not done SHIT to my dog!! I told her to stop and I'm on my way, I live across the street!! I get there, they decide to put him in the tub and throw water on him and did not even bathe him! I'm running late and upset at this point.. took my dog as is! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Please don't ever go there! Should have gone with my instincts!! Just horrible! read more

Please DON'T TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS PETS HERE! I'm regretful that I've made this last minute appointment to take my 1 year old puppy here for his grooming. We couldn't get an appointment with his regular groomer this time and my puppy's coat was starting to get matted and we will be out of town for vacation the next week so this was a last minute resort to get him an appointment. My dog came back with what looks like blood in one of his eyes that looked like an injury to it. TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS that were posted here and don't make the mistake I did! I'm really concern about whether my dog will have any infection to his eyes if we go on vacation. The place also didn't cut my dog's nails properly. They cut some and left about 4 of his nails uncut and the one that they did are ragged . I don't want to take him back there and traumatize him a second time.They also don't let you see your dog before you pay for the service. I don't like to give bad reviews, but I just wanted people to avoid being in regrets like I do for bringing their pets here. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!!! This is my first ever Yelp review. In fact I've never reviewed anything publicly. I usually keep my opinions to myself, but this place totally butchered my dogs and I want to prevent others from making the same mistake. We just moved to the area from out of state and we were looking for grooming services for our two small dogs. We made the huge mistake of coming here. Not only did they do a HORRIBLE job on our dogs, but they severely injured them in the process. We asked for a teddy bear cut on both of them, as they have been getting for years, but this groomer just completely shaved them in order to make their job easier. There was absolutely no style to our dogs whatsoever, and they charge an exorbitant amount of money for grooming, so I was expecting an actual style, not for them to be completely shaved. Our younger dog came back with both eyes completely bloodshot. They were so red and looked as if blood was actually going to start coming out of her eyes. When we asked them about it, they said we brought her in that way. Ummm..... NO!!! This is our baby! We would've noticed if her eyes were bloodshot when we took her in. We ended up having to take her to the vet, who said it was likely caused by a neck restraint. We had to put eye drops in for over a week. This has never happened before, and I feel extreme guilt thinking about what they put our precious dog through. Our older dog is 14 yrs old and has been going to the same groomer in our former state since she was a puppy. From being a senior dog, she has warts on her skin and we asked them to be extra gentle with her. Instead, she came back bleeding in different areas on her body, they butchered her ear so that was bleeding also, and she was shaking like a leaf. To top it off, neither dog had their anal glands expressed and both dogs came back with fleas, which they didn't have before. Our dogs are members of our family. They are indoor dogs, they're always groomed & clean, always free from fleas, they're allowed on our furniture, and they're constantly showered with love from us. I will never forgive myself for taking them to this NEGLIGENT establishment. I shudder to think of the way they were treated while here. It was clearly animal abuse! I wish there was more I could do than write this review. This business should not be operating with how they treat animals. Our precious pets deserve better than this. Think twice before you take ur pet here. After see all the good reviews I take my dog for grooming here. The cut was perfect but after I take my dog home few hour later I notice that he's very uncomfortable sit in the corner and whining so I went to check on him, then I notice he had rash from his cut around his private area. So I thought maybe was to short and nothing to worry and hope it will go away. Next day I went check on my dog again he got that rash area swollen so I figure I will take him to vet. The vet said because of the cut he got that area swollen, so I called the place and told them that my dog private area were swollen cause of the cut that to short (I just want them to know to be careful) but they told me to bring my dog so they can take a look. Can't believe when I arrive the man name Javier who is the owner pointed finger at me and said when the dog got rash or swollen it's very normal and don't blame me if gets worst! And whatever happen to ur dog he was fine before he leave!. I was shocked with his response. He should be apologizing about what happen but instead he yelled and pointed finger at me, can't believe it! So upset.. that kind of owner attitude and behavior it's very shameful. Ps my dog is 5 years old he is a bichon and never have this kind of grooming problem before. read more

Beware! My dogs looked fantastic when I picked them up but when they told me the price, my jaw fell wide open. I had been quoted a price that was far below what my total was today. When I explained that I was quoted a much lower price, all he said was that was a mistake! No attempt to make it right. He was not even willing to reduce my total even a small fraction. I am very sad but I will not be back. If you won't stand behind the quote and won't accept even a little responsibility for someone misquoting me, you are not doing good business. read more

I've been taking my dog, Harley, to Bubble Buddies since 2013. At the time, I was living in Katy, so it was very convenient. I now live in Houston near Sugar Land. I tried out some groomers closer to where I currently live, but I couldn't find any place that took care of my dog the way Bubble Buddies does. Although I must travel a longer distance to get Harley groomed, it's well worth it; Javier and his team are the best. I've also utilized his boarding services when I went on vacation.
