This Family Owned Business is a must try place if you like homemade malts, shakes, specialty snowballs or bubble tea. While timing doesn't allow me to stop in during each visit, it's safe to say it's on the checklist 75% of the time even though it's located in Kenner near the Super Walmart. Ms. Maggie and Mr. Wayne are personable and caring. It seems as if they know every repeat customer. The establishment is clean and there's ample parking. FAVORITES: Snoballs - Chantilly (cheesecake stuffed treat topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries), pink lemonade or any ice cream stuffed flavor. Great snoball place! They have a few tables with checkers which my kids love, clean bathrooms and tons of choices! We have had an array of snoball flavors, milkshakes, sundaes and a banana split and all have been great. Staff is always helpful and sweet read more

Bubbie's has quality snoballs, ice cream, and yogurt. Lots of snoball flavors. Everything is really inexpensive. Nice owners. Never crowded. Seating is not kid-friendly as they only have high-seating tables and stools. Hot dogs for $1 are also available as well as nachos. Good place for a frozen treat! read more

This is to WARN others this place is charging 9.75% tax when Jefferson parish tax rate is 9.2%. So far since the tax rate changed from 9.75% last year to 9.2% I have corrected 2 businesses( Atomic Burger and The Fiery Crab). This is getting RIDICULOUS I have more knowledge than you all about the tax rate in Jefferson Parish. Anybody can easily check this by a simple math problem. Take your subtotal amount before taxes and multiply it times 1.092. $3.87 x 1.092 = $4.226, rounds to $4.23. $3.87 x 1.0975 = $4.247, rounds to $4.25. As you can see the owner is charging $4.25 total with tax on chalk board menu and PURPOSELY not returning your itemized receipt unless you ask for it which you should AUTOMATICALLY get your itemized receipt whether you pay with cash or credit. Tax is 36 cents NOT 38 cents. All I can figure is: 1. Lazy owners don't want to fix it 2. Want to steal on purpose so the parish can get more 3. Dumb ditzy idiots I figure all 3 are correct. I am only an office clerk have a vo-tech school degree and I have more knowledge of a SIMPLE MATH PROBLEM AND TO LEARN the correct sales tax rates. The Fiery Crab was charging Orleans parish tax rate. I reported it to them in a letter and over the phone as they assured me they'd fix it. Nobody caught it, but again there too a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER CATCHES THIS BUT YOU ALL DON'T and even CUSTOMERS DON'T. THAT'S sad, it really is. I have NEVER been here before and caught this. Bubbie's, tax rate is NOT 9.75%! This place is a-ok. When I went there was a lady there who was SUPER nice and helpful. They have soft serve yogurt, bubble teas, and sno-balls. We got sno-balls and some soft serve yogurt. She put sprinkles on the ice cream for the little ones and even let us sample a sno-ball flavor. I couldn't believe a sno-ball place let you sample a flavor! It was nice. The soft serve was, well soft serve. It was good but isn't it all prepackaged?? I would think its hard to get bad soft serve but maybe I am wrong. They have chocolate and vanilla flavors. The sno-ball ice was less crunchy than nearby Sunny's but not as "snowy" as a Pandora's (to give you an example). They have a good flavor selection also. The only complaint I would say is that they have inside seating, however it is all high tables and stools. While super nice and trendy, the decor is more fitting for adults. I would think most people come in with children and it just didn't make sense. You can't possibly feel safe letting a small child sit on those high seats. They don't allow you to patron their establishment if you wear a hoodie. The guy told my sister to take her hoodie off. We asked politely why this was the case and he shrugged with his hands up and said "it just is". I'm not for anyone especially men telling women what to do with the clothing on their bodies. In addition I can't help but wonder if this is an anti-black sentiment by the two white people behind the counter. I know a lot of people are ok frequenting establishments owned and operated by racists but I'm from California where that ish don't fly. I was really looking forward to trying them out but frankly there are other establishments with better reviews and ratings so we gladly left. This place reminds me so much of the "old south" that's hanging on by a string for dear life to survive. Times are changing. Please stop making ignorant rules for your business or you simply won't last very much longer. Good riddance. read more

The selection of snoball flavors at Bubbies is insane. Just look at the photos that others have posted on Yelp. We've visited Bubbies a few times since moving to Kenner and have not been disappointed yet. The toasted marshmallow snoball is my favorite so far. I keep wanting to try the special bananas foster snoball, but I don't really want 16oz of snoball... small is good! Pricing is about on par with other snoball stands. $1 and some change for a kids size or small. The specialty items are a bit more. For example, the huge bananas foster one for $4. It's walking distance from my house, and air conditioned, so this makes me happy! 4 stars instead of 5 because the ice isn't *quite* as fine as some of the NOLA stands, but it's still good. read more

This place is not like a regular normal snoball stand that I am used to. This place is amazing. How can you not have a seat and enjoy the view and tv in an enclosed space? The flavors are like too many. Literally the owners did an amazing job with ju st about any type of cracking you can think of. I had a small toasted marshmallow and wedding cake sno ball. So dawg gone GOOD!!!! I also ordered 3 hot dogs. Let me just say the price is so affordable. And the quantities are very fulfilling with the sno balls. My small sno ball cost me no more than $1.50. Very affordable! !!!!!!! Kenner sno balls are a bit different than some new orleans stands in comparison with the texture of the ice. But the price swap is so awesome that I am cool to try the alternative. The hot dogs were pretty regular and went well just sitting around eating a sno ball and eating a some hot dogs!!!!! I enjoyed the environment and the guy there that was working was sweet. He even let me sample my sno ball flavor and I was so impressed! !! I will be back again!!! read more

WHAT?! I thought I reviewed this place already. My favorite snoball place. The owners are husband/wife and are super duper friendly. They have plenty of flavors and they allow you to sample as many as you'd like before you make your decision. We have a snoball stand right down the street from my office but will make the 10 minute drive to Bubbie's because it's just that good! My favorite flavor is the mudslide and white russian half/half. YUM. Seriously, give Bubbie's a shot. read more

SO GOOD best sno balls ive ever had. The staff is amazing and I love the variety of flavors! Its never too busy when I go there which is also a plus. You can even have cheesecake put inside of you snocone! I have never seen anywhere else where they have flavored condensed milk, and it actually is amazing! The bf and I are frequent visitors. The soft serve chocolate ice cream is always my best bet while he goes for a Large (which seems like an extra large to me) snoball. This place is probably my favorite place to get snowballs. I love that they are open year round, so I am able to get a snowball whenever I want. I got a wedding cake flavored snowball stuffed with vanilla ice cream. Their soft serve ice cream is really good. The service here is great and everyone wore masks inside the store read more

They even have a great little selection of snacks and treats, which my family loved! What really makes this place shine, though, are the sweet teenage girls who work there. Every time we visit, they greet us with genuine smiles and kind hearts. They are so patient and friendly, even when the line is long. One moment that absolutely melted my heart: one of the girls saw how excited my 3-year-old granddaughter was about her rainbow snowball and actually let her come around to the back to help make it. It made her whole day! She felt like such a big girl and hasn't stopped talking about it since. That small act of kindness meant so much to us.
