It can get pretty full and loud, probably because they're great for large groups and families. The atmosphere is very fun. I like that they have meat challenges and their news articles all over the walls. They also have a big bar and plenty of TVs to watch games. The BBQ was pretty good! I got the Two BBQ Dinner 2 Meat: Pulled pork, pulled chicken, Campfire baked beans, and jalapeño cream corn. The BBQs sauces on the table really helped it. The classic is rich and sweet, and the hot had a bit of kick to it. The meat was tender. The baked beans were pretty good- I liked that it was a variety of beans. The jalapeño creamed corn wasn't spicy in the least but it was still my favorite. It was creamy and warm!! Service was nice and it didn't take too long, even with how crowded it was.

The vibe is exactly what you want from a casual BBQ joint laid back, a little loud, TVs on, and that classic neighborhood bar feel. Super easy, no pressure, just good food and a place to hang out. We ordered a mix of things to try and everything came out hot and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy and saucy (definitely a highlight), and the waffle fries were seasoned perfectly and so good dipped in their ranch. The BBQ plate was super solid too tender, smoky meat with classic sides like green beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread that felt comforting and homemade. Also have to mention the chips and queso moment, simple but hit the spot. Service was friendly and quick, which made it even better after a long day of traveling and being outside. Overall, if you're staying at Adventureland or passing through, this is such an easy, satisfying stop. Nothing fancy, just good, hearty BBQ and a fun atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

Environment was noisy, with only a few inches between tables. Bacon-wrapped scallops were grilled to perfection, but could have used some seasoning. My wife said her French onion soup was too salty. The hashbrowns were a joke -- unseasoned mashed potatoes in a mold that was browned on top. No hashbrown texture at all. My wife's sirloin steak was quite good. However, my $56 dry-aged 12-oz ribeye was a disappointment. I expected a melt-in-your-mouth experience. What I got was a somewhat dry piece of meat with very little marbling, but with a chunk of fat in the middle. Both steaks were poorly seasoned. Steaks should be prepared with a ample amount of salt and pepper. Adding it after the fact isn't the same.

Bartender was attentive and prompt. The fried cheese pickle egg rolls were delicious! Sweet potato fries were as good as any I've had. Water and ice tea as expected. Unfortunately, the mushroom Swiss burger didn't live up to my expectations for a place with "burger" in the name. Mushrooms and cheese were good. The burger patties were overdone and not much flavor. It's still a good enough place that I will be back to give them another shot.

We have been there before with friends for drinks and enjoyed the restaurant and good service so decided to check out their burgers. We were in around 5:15 on a Saturday night and immediately seated in a large booth. Our server was friendly and attentive and efficient (checked in briefly 3 times and let us say if we needed anything) all throughout the meal. The burger menu isn't super extensive but satisfying to all palettes- a classic/simple/just the basics, to specialty (see picture). I did sample the means for other offerings and there were many diverse offerings. Apps and dessert tempting but all I was craving was a good burger. I wasn't sure about Mac and cheese on my burger but it was a nice addition. I took some off the burger and enjoyed as an extra side/ it was creamy and mildly flavor so as to add more texture than actual flavor to the burgers. I should mention I had not eaten all day as normally I could never eat two burgers, however they were more thin than thick and tasted perfect on what tasted almost like a steamed (and soft) bun. I enjoyed the signature pickles on the side and added a little signature bacon jam to the burger which was a nice flair of flavor. My husband's burger was the perfect mix of cheese and mushrooms and flavor. Nothing special about the Tots or fries except a generous amount of both and their presentation in a mini fry basket. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food but between water and drinks served it was a quick wait, especially for a Saturday night. This is a pleasant restaurant whether eating in a quiet booth or for watching bets while eating. Lots of options for couples or larger groups. There isn't much parking close to the restaurant but we found spaces at the hotel right next to it. Worth the drive. Craving satisfied.

At around 1 hour, I got a text telling me to gather my party because we were on-deck. Several other groups were seated, some of them quite large. Almost 10 minutes later, I received another text advising me to gather my party because we were on-deck. I went to the desk to ask if our name had been called. I was told that no, we were on deck. Again, several other groups were seated, and several of them were large groups. About 10 minutes later, they called our name. We were taken to a table next to the main walkway through the restaurant, and as we were seated, the music was cranked up and the wait staff started dancing next to our table. I couldn't hear what was going on over the loud music, but I gathered that someone else was there for a birthday. About 10 minutes later a waitress arrived and took our drink order. She said she would get us "some more" dinner rolls. We didn't have any at our table prior to that. Several minutes later, she came back with our drinks but no rolls. My wife reminded her about the rolls, and she went and got 2 baskets of rolls and then took our food orders. While we waited for our food to arrive, a song that mentions Texas Roadhouse in the lyrics started playing. Whoever controls the volume turned it up so loud that we had to stop our conversation. Then the dancing started again. I don't remember the song they were dancing to except the word "butt-crack" was clearly audible. When the music quieted down, our birthday person mentioned that if they didn't have to stop and dance so often, maybe they could get our food out faster. The wait for our food was about half an hour. I didn't get any photos because we were all pretty hungry at that point. The flavor and quality of the food was quite good, but there were a couple of outliers. For example, our birthday person reported that the buttered corn didn't seem very buttery, and I noticed that the steamed broccoli I ordered wasn't warm enough to melt the butter I put on it. I would rate the food a 4, the service a 4, and the ambiance a 3. Actually, make the ambiance a 2. There were a couple of times we talked about not coming back due to how noisy it was all the time, but especially when they cranked up the music for that one song, and then the dancing. I thought we were going to make it out without more dancing, but that didn't happen. One of the dancers came uncomfortably close to bumping in to me while I was trying to finish eating. My overall score would be a 3.5 if that were an option. A 3 seems too low, but a 4 seems too high. PS: For those of you trying to avoid seed oils, Texas Roadhouse uses soybean oil to cook just about everything. I always ask for my steak to be cooked without oil and only butter. Apparently, the mushrooms and onions they offer with the steaks are already prepared with the oil because since I started ordering that way, I haven't been offered the mushrooms and onions on my steak even though it has been offered to others I'm with who don't specify no oil.

Watch their Facebook page...they're pretty good about posting where they are scheduled to be and the time they will be there. I ordered the brisket sandwich. It's a heavy sandwich...and not one for the dainty eater. They asked if I wanted to pickles and onions on it... Sure. You talked me into it. Thicker sliced brisket on a focaccia roll/bun. The brisket was cooked perfectly and it was pull apart tender. The sandwich filled a standard 6 inch by 6 inch take-out box from corner to corner. The BBQ sauce was sweet, tangy, and had just a touch of heat. I have no idea if the sauce is custom or a third party. I'd assume it's their own; I didn't ask. We had a very short wait between ordering and being handed our food. The truck staff was polite and efficient. Waab's accepts cash or cards. Brisket sandwich and a 1 oz. bag of chips ($8). 16 oz. soda ($1.25). Definitely a thumbs up and I'll go back and try a few more of their items when I can catch them on the West side. Usually I write more, but I'm finding it hard to fluff this up. Just good BBQ.
