I love eating here. They have really good food and nice staff. They provide indoor and patio seating. There's tvs showing the sporting shows and they have lots of sports memorabilia. Food wise I really like the pizzas, sandwiches, and wings. The salads are big here. The wait staff are very friendly and honest. Things to know about the food. The cheese curd pizza- there's not fried cheese curds on it. It's regular curds so technically it's like extra cheese on a pizza. The chips and dip- fantastic but the salsa is funky. The cheese dip is wow. Guac seems fresh made. Wings- super tasty and crisp Fried cheese curds- just like the fair. I've done take out as well and it's just as good as eating in. It's definitely underrated the restaurant. I highly recommend trying it out especially if your staying close by.

In town for State Softball for both of my daughters and we stopped here for lunch. We had a pretty big group and the waitress was excellent with our orders. I had the Graziano Brothers Grinder and it was delicious. I had curly fries as my side.

Kylie was such a fun server tonight! Friendly and checked on us multiple times. We got an array of apps along with a 128 oz beer tower. The tower was fun and great cost for a group of four. Apps were okay, ratio of chip to dip feels a bit light but flavors are on point!

We've never had anything but a good experience here. Staff are attentive, food is really good (considering it's a restaurant inside a hotel) and it's always a fun atmosphere. Went Saturday night and the place was busy with Iowa Hawkeye fans. Even with the busyness, service was quick. And never pass up dessert, the donuts are delicious

One of the few restaurants in this small town but the staff was very inviting and they have more TVs than I have ever seen. Our waitress recommended quite possibly the most unhealthy thing on the menu, the Grilled Cheese Peanut Butter Cheeseburger, which really creates hesitation but I couldn't say no. It's exactly what it sounds like and it was delicious. I also had a premium side (for a fee) of Garlic Parmesan Fries. I love skinny fries and I enjoyed them but they didn't seem very fresh. They almost tasted stale like they've been waiting for someone to order them. Overall, the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. It's basically a sports bar with a bigger menu and higher quality.

Packed place at happy hour!

I went for drinks and dinner tonight with some friends. I loved the Lambeau Lemonade and it was only $3 during happy hour. My friend had the Freaky in the Field and found it enjoyable as well. We split the nachos. I enjoyed them but the chips themselves are the stars! Crunchy and sturdy with some sort of seasoning. I opted for the steak sandwich with mac and cheese as my side. I enjoyed the sandwich but really didn't care for the mac and cheese. It was bland and had an odd taste. My one friend got the chicken tenders with onion rings. I tried both and really enjoyed the tenders, think they were homemade. My friend's parents split the taco pizza and said it was very good. We also got a cheese curd appetizer. They were unique because there was very little breading. Service was very good but the restaurant itself is very loud. I really enjoy their patio so I hope to go back for that!

Hotel gave us a free pizza coupon for this restaurant to use during our stay. We plan on ordering and buying other items, breadsticks and chicken wings and drinks. The coupon said carry out only. Why would a restaurant not want to make money and allow me to eat in with my additional purchases. This a a restaurant located in a hotel. Not good customer service.

Tenderloin and tots

The restaurant was much larger than I expected. We went on July 3rd so we expected a wait (fire works nextdoor later that night). Within minutes we were offered seats that were side by side and one of the walls. These seats not only have a great view of the majority of the restaurant and TV's, there is also a TV in the table top that you can control the channel. My dinning partner and I ordered a couple of items. We split a tenderloin and tots. The tots were nice and crispy on the outside......they were my favorite thing we had. The tenderloin was average. It was boneless wings night so they were half price. We tried the jerk rub, not my favorite. The chicken was super tender, I think I would definitely try them again with a different rub or sauce. We asked for blue cheese with the chicken.....it did not taste like blue cheese, really didn't have much flavor? Maybe we were given something else? I would definitely try spectators again

Bartender was attentive and prompt. The fried cheese pickle egg rolls were delicious! Sweet potato fries were as good as any I've had. Water and ice tea as expected. Unfortunately, the mushroom Swiss burger didn't live up to my expectations for a place with "burger" in the name. Mushrooms and cheese were good. The burger patties were overdone and not much flavor. It's still a good enough place that I will be back to give them another shot.

We have been there before with friends for drinks and enjoyed the restaurant and good service so decided to check out their burgers. We were in around 5:15 on a Saturday night and immediately seated in a large booth. Our server was friendly and attentive and efficient (checked in briefly 3 times and let us say if we needed anything) all throughout the meal. The burger menu isn't super extensive but satisfying to all palettes- a classic/simple/just the basics, to specialty (see picture). I did sample the means for other offerings and there were many diverse offerings. Apps and dessert tempting but all I was craving was a good burger. I wasn't sure about Mac and cheese on my burger but it was a nice addition. I took some off the burger and enjoyed as an extra side/ it was creamy and mildly flavor so as to add more texture than actual flavor to the burgers. I should mention I had not eaten all day as normally I could never eat two burgers, however they were more thin than thick and tasted perfect on what tasted almost like a steamed (and soft) bun. I enjoyed the signature pickles on the side and added a little signature bacon jam to the burger which was a nice flair of flavor. My husband's burger was the perfect mix of cheese and mushrooms and flavor. Nothing special about the Tots or fries except a generous amount of both and their presentation in a mini fry basket. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food but between water and drinks served it was a quick wait, especially for a Saturday night. This is a pleasant restaurant whether eating in a quiet booth or for watching bets while eating. Lots of options for couples or larger groups. There isn't much parking close to the restaurant but we found spaces at the hotel right next to it. Worth the drive. Craving satisfied.

We sat at a high top with a bench, and it actually worked really well for having the baby with us. Drinks and waters came out efficiently, and our waitress was kind and courteous. The food did take a little while, but everything came out together, which I appreciate with a larger table. My fries were room temperature when they arrived, but they quickly replaced them with piping hot ones, so no real complaint there. Our table had a good mix: the Pulled Pork Sandwich for $12.99, Crispy Chicken Wrap for $14.99, Tequila Lime Chicken Tacos for $14.99, BTH Classic Smash Burger for $14.99, and a medium order of house-made boneless wings for $16.99. No one complained, which is usually a pretty good sign with our crew. The restaurant was clean, fairly busy, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly. Drink prices seemed reasonable too. We were also able to hang out and visit for quite a while without feeling rushed, which made it a really nice family stop. It is close to home, the food was good, and my daughter picked up the bill for Father's Day, so that made it taste even better. We will definitely be back.

Founders Irish Pub in Bondurant is one of our regular midpoint stops on bicycle adventures, and…read moreoverall it is still a place we enjoy coming back to. The patio is nice, the location is great, and the weekly specials and prices are still fair. On this visit, I believe we got some complimentary chips and salsa, and I ordered the Southwest Eggrolls for $9.99. The eggrolls were awesome. Most of the time we are here more for drinks, sunshine, and a patio break than a full meal, but the food we have had has been good. That said, Founders can be a little hit or miss. Service really depends on who is working, and the patio and patio games are starting to feel a little tired. I get it -- good help is hard to find, and it is probably tough to predict how busy any given night will be. We forgive you, and we will likely be back again and again. My honest note to ownership would be this: take a close look at the place and do not let it slip much further toward the "dive bar" category. The location is a gold mine, especially for cyclists and patio people. A little freshening up outside and some staff training on drink making and beer selection would go a long way. Still a good stop, still fair prices, and still a place we will keep coming back to -- just hoping it gets a little love before it slides too far.

I got the Two BBQ Dinner 2 Meat: Pulled pork, pulled chicken, Campfire baked beans, and jalapeño cream corn. The BBQs sauces on the table really helped it. The vibe is exactly what you want from a casual BBQ joint laid back, a little loud, TVs on, and that classic neighborhood bar feel. Super easy, no pressure, just good food and a place to hang out. We ordered a mix of things to try and everything came out hot and packed with flavor. The wings were crispy and saucy (definitely a highlight), and the waffle fries were seasoned perfectly and so good dipped in their ranch. The BBQ plate was super solid too tender, smoky meat with classic sides like green beans, mac and cheese, and cornbread that felt comforting and homemade. Also have to mention the chips and queso moment, simple but hit the spot. Service was friendly and quick, which made it even better after a long day of traveling and being outside. Overall, if you're staying at Adventureland or passing through, this is such an easy, satisfying stop. Nothing fancy, just good, hearty BBQ and a fun atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
