It was my first time trying Bubbakoo's Burritos, and the team and manager were super friendly. It was busy inside, and the team was working hard to pack a catering order. I ordered to go and got a grilled chicken burrito with bang bang sauce and a side of queso. The ingredients on the burrito were fresh, and the bang band sauce packed a perfect punch. They had a crazy burrito menu with wild combinations, which I thought was cool. The inside of the restaurant is brightly colored lime green with a skater punk vibe. The walls were covered with tasteful graffiti art. It's a fantastic place with friendly staff. I would recommend it!

I would like to point out how great the food here is, the rice is just right, the meat is fresh and juicy, the vegetables are ripe and perfectly separate. they have something called a "chawawa" and oh how I love it. the customer service is great, very patient. I am a black women.. if I had to leave a review without being asked to; you know this place is the bom.com. they are clean, work fast, not messy at all. Very nice looking portraits on the wall, it's just so great. You will leave this place with a full belly and a full heart. Is this the new and upgraded chipotle?? Hm, come and find out!

They can't even wrap a burrito. The prices are pretty high and the quality is pretty bad plus the male employee. With so many options available near here with good Mexican I would strongly recommend to avoid it. The worst thing was we found hair in our food so for 3 ppl we spent $50 and we threw it all away in a few bites. Person next door at Ollie's warned us not to try it and we should have listened

Mini nachos , not so mini if you ask me!

This place was great. I had the mini nachos and the taco trio. Wow I was super impressed with quality and taste of the product. The server was friendly and engaging. Definitely would recommend this place for taco lovers. Great variety of proteins.

For my meal, I had one carnitas, one shrimp, and one carne asada taco. The carnitas were my favorite, followed closely by the shrimp. The carne asada was flavorful too, just a little oily, which was easily fixed with a quick dab of my napkin. My boyfriend ordered the Skillet Rancheros with chicken and shrimp, plus a chicken taco, and loved everything. The skillet reminded us of a unique twist on fajitas and was packed with flavor. The homemade tortillas really stood out--you can tell everything here is made with care. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, the restaurant was spotless (even the bathrooms!), and the dining room was bright, welcoming, and adorable. They also have a great drink selection, including beer, seltzers, margaritas, and sangria, which we'll definitely be back to try. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. I can't recommend this place enough!

Instead of explaining why they tasted different, two bartenders argued with us and told us we were wrong. They even remade one. The second one tasted exactly the same. Only then were we told that they don't actually use tequila--they use an infused wine product instead. Looking at the menu, it's easy to see why we were confused. The drinks are listed with ingredients like tequila, vodka, whiskey, rum, and gin. The only indication otherwise is a tiny line at the bottom that says they serve "Premium Blend Spirits." That doesn't clearly communicate that these cocktails aren't made with actual liquor. What really ruined the experience was the attitude. Rather than simply explaining the difference, the two bartenders argued with us, told us we were wrong, and we could clearly hear them making negative comments about us afterward. We ended up canceling our food order and leaving. Our server was kind, and we still left them a tip because this wasn't their fault. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled means we won't be back.

My only complaint was the enchiladas verde dinner was so tiny- it looked like a child's meal, and my dining companion was still totally hungry after. We were going to need to stop by Lowe's anyway to pick up a hose clamp for securing the dryer vent hose (prior owners used zip ties for that purpose...really?) so we decided to try out Azul after our painters provided positive experiences after eating lunch there. It was a late lunch so the place wasn't packed. We were seated immediately...place seemed spacious and had a lively vibe with various tequila-themed neon signs. I ordered their carnitas plate and my wife chose the spinach quesadilla WITHOUT mushrooms off the lunch special menu. The tortilla chips were warm but the salsa, while decent, tasted sweet and lacked some punch. When our meals were served, it became apparent that my wife's quesadilla had plenty of mushrooms, even after the server repeated my wife's order of no mushrooms. I couldn't wait for our server to return with her meal so I proceeded to sample their carnitas. When I initially asked our server how their carnitas were, she said they're "pretty good"...and I would think the carnitas were just OK. My wife, once her meal was served after what felt like a long wait, liked her quesadilla. She thought the spinach flavor shined through. All in all, a decent meal with nice presentation that would suffice if we were hankering for Mexican food and didn't want to drive far. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to about $36.

The only redeeming qualities were the service was fast/friendly and the presentation is very nice. But as others mentioned, the salsa is strange and much like everything else has no flavor. I ordered a $12 margarita to start and it came in a comically small glass. We ordered the yucca fries and they looked perfectly golden and nicely sized but were nearly inedible from how salty they were. Thankfully the server took it off the bill. My husband got the chile relleno which boasted roasted vegetables but I guess they were referring to the undercooked sweet mini peppers stuffed inside? Also I'm not sure they have a heat lamp for staging. Nothing was hot when it arrived and the cheese his relleno rested on had congealed. I ordered the chicken street tacos which also looked very nice when it arrived but were dry, unseasoned, grilled chicken strips with pickled onions on top but then cilantro and white onions on the side and more of those sweet peppers. I think they're relying pretty heavily on them to provide Mexican flavor but they do not. I want to go on but I don't want to be rude... it's just so objectively bad and overpriced. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants that are worth an extra 15 minute drive so I do not recommend. Sorry jag

The feeling from outside screams Mexico, so we thought we hit the jackpot (not so) the locals seem to enjoy this restaurant. But what I learned is small towns that finally get something new is what they consider to be good. Our waiter Manuel wanted us to probably order more than just our entrees. Our drink selection wasn't appealing as well 3 waters and 1 corona. But we didn't come in for drinks especially since we just left a kids party and had a few drinks there. The children had the cheese quesadilla with fries, they weren't impressed. My wife ordered the carnitas and it was okay and for me the Jalisco Special. Presentation of my wife and I dishes were good but the lack of seasoning is where restaurants are falling short of. What I'm learning is the lack of seasoning is being replaced with sauces. No matter how bland your meat choices are they encourage you to try it with the sauce. This place seems as it use to be Jalisco restaurant but revamped into Plaza Mexico restaurant. The locals may keep it a float but time will tell if this place will last. Hopefully management can fix the lack of seasoning as this is a Presentation of Mexico and are well know for flavorful dishes not dishes with sauces. I know I won't be back but this small town needs true identities of culture dishes.
