YIKES! I'll never go there again. My salad had rotten black lettuce throughout (the shrimp was tough and unchewable). When I told the server, she said that was how all their lettuce was. My family came here a couple weeks ago and I wanted to say as I waited for my food I was kind of in a bad mood but when we recieved our food , wow, it was so good and all our attitudes changed! I do suggest that the waitress be a little more attentive and positive in her job but know she was busy, the food was so good that I had the cook come out and tipped him. First time to this location and is very impressed with the service and kindness from the staff... our waitress is just sooooo nice and keep stopping by even though the "run Forest run" sign is up!! Another 5 star review. The restaurant is clean even tho they get very heavy traffic. No matter what we ask its almost always "no problem we can do that!" which is nice. Staff is friendly and service is good. The food (although I believe much of it comes in frozen and prepared ahead of time) is still good and the menu offers a great variety of tasty treats. Ate here on Saturday (1/27/18) at the bar and ordered calamari, the fried platter, and the combo desserts. Everything was so delicious even though most of it was fried, you could tell the freshness of the seafood in every bite. They also have amazing tartar sauce. The next day I was craving their hush puppies from the platter and come to find out they have a decent happy hour from 3-7. Hush puppies weren't included but ordered them anyways along with the fish tacos and slider burgers. We were super satisfied with our choices and with 4 HH drinks and 3 appetizers it came to $30 which I thought was pretty affordable. The guys tending bar did a great job both nights but the second night were slacking on checking if we needed anything once we got our food. Only complaint and it's not a big one because the food was still super good( I was just craving a side of the tartar sauce for my fries) and everything else they were on the ball. Visited last weekend and showed up on a Sunday right before Happy Hour. The bar tender was kind enough to let us know we had about 7 minutes before Happy Hour if we wanted to wait but it was up to us. They have great HH specials including drink and food specials. Stopped in to Bubba's while out on a motorcycle ride. It was definitely worth the stop. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. Our server was great. It was a wonderful lunch. Fish was breaded and deep fried but very good quality. Margarita was good. However today we returned and if you only want drinks you cannot be seated waterfront. It's a weekday and not busy. Come on folks. The bar seating is nondescript and dreary and no view at all for a waterfront location, the only reason to go here. Left and went to another restaurant elsewhere. Great atmosphere, BEST patio! Being a local we cycle through the many dining options in the area depending on the mood. But when we are looking for comfortable afternoon on the deck this is the BEST around! And even though Laughlin gets its share of visitors, with so many options there is never a huge crowd. The deck/ patio is over the river and always open. We have eaten out here all winter and even on a chilly day there are several fire pits and fire places to keep you toasty. The view is amazing and even with a breeze it is awesome. A true tropical feel all year long. Where else can you get that? We have had several of the menu items. The jambalaya is perfect, the ribs are fork tender and unbelievable. As well the fish Tacos are awesome. Grilled or fried. I get them every time. They have an early bird menu from 1-5 with some smaller portions and lighter prices too. They have An extensive drink menu too which has a ton of signature cocktails and the service is always friendly and fast. The golden nugget is really a fun atmosphere where it's never too crowded. You make your way through the casino and down the escalators to Bubba GUmp where you will get a great time on the beach every time. If you want to relax on the deck like a true tropical vacation with some good food and drinks all while seeing the most refreshing view in Laughlin then this is the place. read more

The worst service ever. Arrived for a 6:30pm reservation and was seated immediately. Waitress took drink orders shortly after. We waited for about 20 minutes before we got our drinks. Then we ordered. By now it is about 7pm or so. Numerous times we requested the tv above our table to be changed to a hockey game we wanted to watch. That never happened. Food finally started arriving close to an hour after we ordered. The restaurant is at half capacity- so there's no way they were too busy. I ordered the Bourbon Mahi dish and specifically asked for the sauce on the side. I didn't know how the sauce was made and I have some food sensitivity so was playing it safe. Sauce was not on side but instead the meal was drowning in it. At this point I just ate it because I was starving. Someone else ordered a burger that was extremely over cooked. Appetizers never arrived, so when asked they brought it about 5 minutes later-during the meal. Ordered a second round of drinks and they barely arrived before we left. Service was horrible. This was the first time I have ever been to Bubba Gump's. Booked our RSVP online and requested the river view. Arrived a few minutes early, went to check in and hostess looked up for RSVP. She acted like only 2 of us and we wanted a river view. then she whisper the the girl that was going to seat us and they acted putout. Got our seat. Our waitress came and gave us our menus and said she would be back. She kept walking by us several times stating she would be back. Finally she came back, took our order. We visited on Tuesday April 16th & received the worse service here. My family came to Laughlin to have a quick get away, with my idea to eat here we wanted to grab dinner and watch the hockey game. So people seen us waiting but paid no mind to help. Then the host came out and told us she was sorry that our server went home. This was already a horrible start to dinner. So we order finally, my 5 year old starving, waited another 30-35 mins to get food and drinks, for the food to be okay we ordered coconut shrimp amazing, sauce kind of different and bitter but good. Clam chowder was not very good, very thin with no flavor. shrimp mac and cheese was awful. The jambalaya was delicious extremely spicy but great plate. As well as the fried chicken and mango mojito. If our service wasnt so painful I wouldnt have bothered with this post but its unbelievable how long we waited to be unnoticed out on the deck for no1 to check on us. Walked right in with no wait. Cool atmosphere, although staff was young and not real personable. Very pricy. Menu has some unique items and as you would expect shrimp about any way you want it and then some. Shrimp Mac-n-cheese was awesome. The Mahi was excellent. All portions were large and plenty to eat. Salads, steak, etc also available and all looked good and others commented food was good. It is not an upscale place although prices are upscale. Nice gimmicky place to go for a fun time to try once. We had a great day at Lake Havasu, AZ and on our way home my husband decided to take us to Laughlin for lunch and we picked Bubba Gump. We sat outside, very nice view. The staff are really nice, friendly and fast. Lets talk about the food. My husband ordered fish & chips, he liked it. My daughter ordered shrimp po' boy, she liked it. My other daughter ordered cheese burger, she said it was o.k all their orders came with French fries, the server gave bottle of ketchup for their fries. I ordered bubba fish tacos. The description said "spicy" I didn't even taste the spices. The plate came with 3 tacos with 3 tiny plastic cups (cream, red and green salsa) and tortilla chips. I ate 2 of my tacos, havent even ate the chips yet and ran out of salsas. The waitress came to our table and I asked for more salsa, she said there will be an extra charge. I showed her my plate, I still had 1 more taco and chips. She said let me check. She came back and said "yes, sorry, there will be an extra charge for more salsa". At that point, I don't feel like eating anymore. Soooo mad!!! If my husband wasn't there I would've asked to speak to a manager. This is the first restaurant where I can't have extra salsa to finish my meal. read more

It was pretty bad. I had a gift card so I chose to use it here on one of my trips to Laughlin. The location is the absolute best- an outdoor deck that's right on the river. I just wish the food was at least halfway decent. I ordered the surf & turf for $24. While I was waiting for the food I stepped outside for a cigarette. When I returned I noticed someone had taken my water. When the waitress came by with the food, I told her someone bussed my table while I was gone and she said she'd be right back with the water. When I went to dig in to the food, I noticed I had no silverware. I tried to flag down a few other waiters but nobody was taking the bait. My waitress returned with the water and I told her I needed silverware. The steak was absolutely horrible- I ordered medium and it was well done. It was also dry and gristly. It was comparable in quality to what you'd expect with any casino's $4.99 steak and eggs special, except I paid $24. The fried shrimp wasn't bad. The mashed potatoes were cold (probably due to the wait for silverware). Thankfully I had a gift card so it didn't cost anything out of my pocket. I would definitely not return. Again, it's really a shame due to the awesome location. Overall it seems Laughlin is lacking in quality food establishments- other restaurants I've been to there have similar quality. You're better off getting a $7 plate at Denny's in the River Lodge, at least then you know what to expect. read more
