City tours called us and warned us of the problem and delay which was fine, as we were being picked up at our hotel. They resolved the problem quickly and our guide was there and ready to go within 15 minutes of the originally scheduled time. Our guide Lauren was fantastic! She handled the mishap with grace and without skipping a beat. City tours had to have Ubers take us from brewery to brewery which worked out perfectly fine in the end. On to the tour itself, we were a smaller group, which I loved! We stopped at 4 locations and we sampled A LOT of beer. (I don't understand the reviews saying you barely get 3 drinks because by the end of it my husband and I could barely drink the last beers) We got behind the scenes tours at 2 of the breweries. Goodwater was my personal favorite. Lauren gave us a phenomenal history lesson along the way, which I fully nerded out to. All in all, it was a really fun experience that both, my husband and I, would recommend trying!

Hannington was the most gracious partner in planning this special day (he picked us and all of my son's friends up at our home and took us to our favorite playground so we could get our ya-yas out for an hour and then we reboarded to come home). Hannington hung balloons and decorations inside the trolley and played some of my son's favorite music. We were able to serve birthday treats, snacks, and seltzers/juice boxes on board. We really liked the 2023 Louise and 2022 Marquette. In fact, the Marquette was the best of the bunch from my point of view. The ciders were both really sweet, but the Eden Angeljus was pretty good and reminiscent of Mead. The Riesling was also a favorite. We got a cheeseboard for two, and that was freaking delicious. It came with a maple cranberry preserve that was out of this world. But the cheese, and even the crackers, were exceptionally good, too. Beyond that, the service was exemplary. Ruby in particular was a joy to talk to and quite good at her job. Finally, the live music they had playing was surprisingly good. I did not expect that kind of quality on a random Saturday in May. From the sailing itself to providing us with everything we needed (glasses for wine, cutlery for snacks, fun history about the lake and Vermont, etc.), I cannot recommend them enough. We did this our last night in Burlington and it was the perfect ending to our vacation. If you are considering this cruise - 1. The website has all the info you need (what to bring, what they provide on the boat, where to park, etc.) 2. The boat was big enough that it wouldn't have bothered us if we had just purchased individual tickets and were with other people. 3.
