We were able to wait until the morning to avoid the middle of the night call out. Ricardo promptly came out and inspected our dinosaur furnace and told me the bad news - broken ball bearings and holes throughout. Ricardo did a temporary fix to keep it partially running while we d schussed options for a new furnace with Curtis. All correspondence was answered promptly via email and Curtis was available by phone as well. A-1 offered to loan us free heaters in the interim as well. We ended up going with a 2 stage high efficiency and an AC coil for future AC install. The quotes were provided via email with links directly to the Bryant website to view the most current information. I can't remember the name of the next gentleman who came out but he was on time and professional. We were really happy from start to finish with the service received. Never debt pressures to buy bigger or more expensive items and things were explained to me in a way I could understand. There were a few hiccups when all was said and done but everything was handled with grace and I feel confident in the service received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Curtis or his crew for any of your heating or cooling needs. PS locally owned and operated in St. A for +40 years! PPS When my 5 year old needed to go potty today and we were in the strip mall next door, we popped over and were greeted with a smile and a cheerful yes to letting my son use the washroom (which is a big thumbs up in my books!)

He ran heat to three rooms, added cold air returns, installed an exhaust fan for new bathroom, solved a height issue with the bulkheads, and corrected another contractor's improper installation of my dryer vent. Dave is very knowledgeable about heating and cooling. He holds an Alberta Journeyman Certification in Sheet Metal and Gas Fitting and willingly showed me his trade "tickets". Dave took out the HVAC permit for me and his work passed inspection first time. I highly recommend Max Heating and Air Conditioning.
