From blackberry, to peach, to honey.... they are all crafted magnificently. For our visit, we settled on whiskey + coffee. I love how she asked what level of sweetness we preferred and then brought out our favorite creamer to add in the coffee. The coffee + cream + whipped topping was perfect to sit outside on a Fall evening and sip. After packaging our to go bottles, we asked a few more questions to the distiller himself and he shared that they make about 2 batches a month, sometimes 3. Even though it wasn't a tour, his sharing helped us understand the process and how lucky we were to find this gem. Even if you don't drink whiskey, go and enjoy the scenery. Order some snacks and play a few board games. Excellent for date night, Friday cheers or just because.

We got told to go to a million different places on the property and then we we were finally on track to find our room the owner of Berry Hill came up to us and told us the room we had booked was no longer available. She said that "an employee who no longer worked there" booked us in a room that isn't available for the weekend of the festival. She was incredibly condescending and was acting as if we did something wrong. They ended up putting us in a room that was much worse and smaller that the suite that we had booked. There was no apology for the mix up-- only the owner being rude and unkind towards us. You would think that she would want to make a good impression since this biggest weekend of the entire year for this resort. Besides our terrible check in experience, the hotel was nice. There were scratches on the floor but we had a nice balcony and big windows. We did find an ant in the bed though.

Very nice horse stables with large stalls. Park provides shavings, wheelbarrows, and water spigot on both sides for easy watering. Outside of the barn is a wash station, several hitching posts and mounting blocks. All sites have water and elec hook up, fire ring, picnic table, and are very level! The trails are well marked and maintained, and they are not challenging, I feel like it is for more relaxing and easy rides. Great place for newer riders and new horses to gain confidence on trails! The ladies at the main campground ranger station are very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to assist any way they can. I love the fact that there are two campgrounds for many reasons, but I don't appreciate non-horse campers being able to stay in the equestrian campground. The main one is for them where horses are not permitted. There are only 13 sites for equestrian campers and 48 for regular campers. If you forget something, run into a need, or want a meal, there is a huge Walmart, many stores, and restaurants nearby about 20-25 mins away.
