Very spacious, modern decor, and clean. Bed was comfy. I loved the suite!! Casino is fairly small, but nice! They do check ID right before entering the casino. Beware, it's a smoking casino but it's pretty well ventilated. No free drinks while you gamble here and didn't see any cocktail waitress come around the slot machines--had to get drinks at the center bar or sports book bar myself.

I remembered that this hotel accepts pets. They were very accommodating and even gave him treats when we arrived. The room was extremely clean considering that it was a pet friendly room. They could use more grass because of my dog having trouble walking but I'm not complaining. I would recommend anyone traveling with pets to stay here. I only wish they had king sized beds in their pet friendly rooms instead of doubles (especially when your pet loves to stretch and sleep in the same bed with you).

The room looked like it had not been mopped before we arrived and I asked them to clean it, the toilet and sinks that still had hairs in them. They said they would, gave us new towels the next day, but the floor was still filthy. Considering Danville VA is sort of remote, we can only assume the high price for basically a dirty motel room with cheap uncomfortable furniture was excessive. We will not be back despite having family very close in the area.

We hadn't been gone for 3 hours and Andrew, the one who is telling my husbands boss that we needed to pay additional, has called my husbands boss again and said that the company could no longer use the services of the hotel unless we paid the $130 additional for the 2 weeks. WE ONLY STAYED FOR 6 NIGHTS. So they want to charge double, never mentioned it to my husband when we told them we were checking out early either. Luckily my husbands boss knows this is a huge scam. The GM comes in and tells me I have to leave and that she is calling the police. The brother of the owner comes in and starts berating me too. When the police arrive, I tell them the story, that I am out of there. They tell him that they don't have to allow service animals. The GM says that I am just another crazy vet. I had given the front desk all pertinent documentation. These individuals and this establishment are very anti veterans. They are anti disabled people. They are rude, ignorant and do not have an ounce of customer service. They also refuse to to cancel my reservation and the point refund this preventing me from being able to use them again. So much dust and grime everywhere. Cleaners or previous tenet left nasty earbuds lying on bed. Bed sheets and pillows had dirty marks all over them plus the visible stains on topper. The shower head was broken and sprayed water across the bathroom. Probably why there were spots of black mold all over the walls. Had to use a towel to contain it. Probably no one wants to clean the upper floor rooms since the elevator is broken and had to lug our luggage up 3 flights. Dark and dirty hotel.

A few bottles of juice in ice in a metal bowl. Orange juice ran out by 7:30 AM. Coffee often ran out early. Awakened one morning at 4:00 AM by loud argument in hallway. Television did not work. Night manager tried to fix but could not. Sink and toilet needed to be plunged. Light switch turned off one of the wall plugs. No way to know that until morning, when the cell phone was not charged. In short - the worst hotel experience in our 50 years of travel!
