We had our kitchen counters replaced by granite counters from BT Kitchen last March. We were NOT called to inspect the granite before installation and during a showing of our house, the prospective buyers noticed flaws in the granite right in front of the stove. When I contacted customer service, the gentleman was quite curt and produced a picture of the flaw that was taken at installation but never pointed out to my husband or myself. This gentleman proceeded to engage in a text battle about how I wouldn't want those people to buy my house. I asked that a supervisor contact me directly. To this date, we have not been contacted by a supervisor. Remember that we were assured that we would be able to inspect the granite before installation and were never contacted for an inspection. What can be done?? Probably nothing but the customer service person, John Cassady was not what I would expect from a home town business. My bad. I trusted the company. I had my kitchen remodeled recently with BT Kitchen. From the start process to the finish , ran smoothly as planned. John was reliable, honest and helpful '. Then the professional ones, Joe, Dalton, his son; and Chris who uninstall and install the cabinet and granite, are excellent and experienced people. They are hardworking, , reliable and their work are excellent. They came on time and worked till late afternoon to finish it. They did it as written in their contract. No hidden lies. I am very happy and satisfied with their work on my kitchen. even my friends praise it. I cannot ask any better people than those guys above. They are local and all cabinets are made in Crestview too. All cabinets are made from solid wood and metal brackets, sturdy, stylist , better quality than the ones in few big stores ( I shopped around for sometime before I chose BT Kitchen ).. We chose BT Kitchen and Bath after pricing cabinets and countertops all over the panhandle (including from the big name chains) Not only were they the least expensive, they were also the best quality. We went with the soft close doors and drawers and granite countertops. The installation teams were amazing. They were prompt and so polite. I really can't say enough good about this company. The sale went well but installation was amateur train wreck time. The installers showed up late in the day and obviously cared for nothing but getting away ASAP. The bathroom vanity top was broken during installation (BT did replace it). The vanity backsplash was chipped. After finding the chip on the ground, I insisted it be at least glued back. Didn't matter as the backsplash is 1/2" short of touching the walls on the sides; the glued chip is the best-looking part of it. $4000 piece of quartzite kitchen countertop; installer cuts the sink faucet holes in the WRONG PLACE on the countertop. He then tries to cut through the sink flange to match the countertop holes, but doesn't know anything about cutting stainless steel. Sink flange is blued from heat and a huge burr on the underside prevents faucet installation. While trying to chew through the sink flange, he cracks the quartzite at the faucet hole. Call BT about the crack Tuesday, told a guy would come by Friday, no show. No word from BT for 5 days until I run them down. "Oh, it's been 2 months since the sale so we can't do anything for you". Once I said I wasn't wanting the whole countertop replaced but just trying to keep the crack from spreading, they sent a guy by to glue the crack. Don't even ask me about the cheesy support for the undermount kitchen sink that DOESN'T EVEN TOUCH THE SINK UNDERSIDE. Bottom line - premium price with workmanship that would have to improve to be called lousy. Don't trust anything verbal; get EVERYTHING in writing and INSPECT THE INSTALL CAREFULLY BEFORE THEY LEAVE THE SITE. Bringing in an actual professional to clean up the mess and replacing the kitchen sink should hopefully run no more than $1,000.00. read more

I'm really sad right now. We went in for a quote at the end of November and did not receive it until mid December. In early January we went and paid for the pantry. We had the measurements and paid in full to hopefully get it as soon as possible. They made us have someone come out and measure, just to make sure that our measurements were correct. Then the wait started. I was told 6 weeks. I was so excited that I was getting my pantry finally! After six years of waiting my kitchen would be done! We were told six weeks for delivery, no worries. Seven weeks later I get the call. My cabinet is in! I set up a time, they were great with scheduling too. The cabinet comes in. It was ordered wrong. I ordered a 24 inch deep cabinet, that is what was on my receipt too... the delivered cabinet was only 12 inches deep. It didn't fit. The delivery guy said he wasn't there to install either. I asked for installation because I'm 5'1 and I can't install a 84 inch cabinet. Now I have to wait six or so more weeks. I'm so upset. This was ordered so my kitchen would be complete for my anniversary and ready for me to finally be home. Instead I might have it before the middle of April. I'm upset that we had to wait for professionals to come and measure and the measurements were wrong. And now the wait starts over :( read more
