The cabinets look great and I love all my extras like a Kitchen Aid riser base, warming drawer, wood utensil holders, corner lazy susan unit, and even an automatic opener on the double garbage can cabinet. And the finished wood panels on my refrigerator keeps the look so clean that no one even notices the refrigerator until I have them open the door. Signet even designed a hidden panel that has my bulletin board and keys out of site. Signet Cabinetry was a dream to work with for my cabinet needs and I will be calling them to do my master bath soon.

Ben came by and looked over the project and gave me his assessment of the situation. I found Ben to be very honest and straightforward. Over the next week Ben and I exchanged emails discussing the particulars of the project. Ben provided his analysis and was collaborative. Ben works by himself and in the end I just felt like it would take multiple people to accomplish in a single day what I felt was needed. However, I was so comfortable dealing with Ben, if I come up with any other smaller projects, I will definitely contact Ben.

We've encountered our fair share of contractors and, for this job in general, received many over-the-top quotes and/or no shows. Ben was reasonably priced and consistent in his communication. He provided us with a project calendar (we've never had that happen w/ a contractor) and while, his team went over their original due date--unexpected issues--he maintained communication with us about who would be where, when, and why. I have to admit I was hesitant about going forward with AKB since I'd not read any review about them, but I had a good feeling after I met Benjamin to receive the initial estimate. I got the impression that he actually really cared about his work and the job he does and it was more than just a paycheck for him. I really liked how he was even able to give me a ballpark estimate with just some pictures I sent him before he came over to give a true estimate. I initially reached out to Benjamin in late May and we had decided to start work the first week of July (on that note, he also had earlier availability than anyone else I had received a quote from). We wound up pushing that back once we received the final quote as we wanted more time to save money for the job. He started work on our kitchen on a Monday and was basically done by Friday, except for a few items he had to come back to finish up early the next week. He was great about communicating when he would be at the house and did a fantastic job cleaning up each day--we were able to still use our kitchen in the evenings. We did the back-splash ourselves to save money, and after finishing that, I'm just floored at how beautiful this kitchen looks. I even have to force myself to go to sleep and stop staring at my kitchen each night. After I sent Jason a diagram ( best I could do without being a designer) he looked it over and got back to me with a quote and images of the pull out adjustable self close selves. We liked the design and functionality. Once we agreed with Jason to move ahead; Jason came out to our home just to verify my measurements ( good practice ). In the mean time we had a built in knee desk in the kitchen we only use to store miscellaneous items stamps etc. in the drawer. The large opening below was not being used for much of anything and we had some appliances that we stored in laundry room, not very organized and a hassle to grab when needed; ( air fryer, insta pot, blender ). We thought it would be nice to place a drawer below. So when Jason arrived to justify the measurements we asked him about an idea to put a pull out drawer there. We tossed around a few ideas. Jason also took measurements for that too. After a while we went back and forth finalizing a plan after a few tweaks. Jason put out a couple of prices for each idea and we finalized on one. The big thing was now color match to our existing cabinets since they are 32 years old. Jason sent Ronnie out to get a sample of existing cabinets. He went back with a sample to color match new cabinet and drawer to. Ronnie was kind, professional and has a lot of experience in this area. Once that was done the cabinets were made, stained and ready for installation. He sent a crew to deliver the pantry selves and new drawers. Then shortly after Paul the installer arrived to install everything. He defines what he was doing and came prepared for about everything if something needed a tweak. The color match was pretty right on. Paul was diligent, professional and very knowledgeable. He finished before we had to leave; timing was important. At the end of the day; High Caliber may not be the cheapest but they are true to their name; High Caliber! Job well done! I recommend you look into this company in your search for cabinets.

High Caliber continues to exceed our expectations. We remodeled our kitchen over 5 years ago…read more Our cabinets have remained beautiful. Unfortunately, my wife unknowingly spilled an oily liquid and some of the liquid remained on our cabinet for a couple days before we noticed it. A small area at the bottom of the cabinet was damaged. The paint just seemed to melt off. The silver lining was the area damaged was the wide trim around the bottom of our island. I called Scott at High Caliber and explained our problem. Scott said he didn't know if they could match the paint perfectly since it had been 5 years. Scott said he'd call me back once he checked out a couple things and called the Amish company that built the cabinets. In less than 30 minutes Scott called and asked if he could send one of his guys out to look at it. Within the next 30 minutes an employee came to my house. He removed the damaged moulding and took it with him. The next morning I received a call and was told the moulding had been repaired and they wanted to bring it back and reinstall it. I was told they sanded the moulding and gave it two coats of paint. I was fortunate they had some of my paint still on hand. In a little over 24 hours they had fixed our problem. Cost: ZERO, NADA. Not many businesses give that kind of customer service anymore! These guys are first class.
