From the jump it was clear she had no interest in helping me. Was it because I was dressed in jeans and a t shirt? Was it because i needed such a small piece? I will never know. She kind of waved her hand around the area and when I would ask questions she would visibly sigh and answer me in a very condescending tone. Then when it seemed like she started understanding what style of stone I was looking for she pivoted and started telling me I could only buy a slab. I need like 6 square feet? A full slab costs thousands of dollars and is huge (like 60sqft) why would I buy that? Anyway she quoted some ridiculous price which I felt was either to get rid of me or to make extra $$. I have since found a company that was extremely helpful, efficient and great to work with, and I got a deal on a remnant piece like I wanted. I wont be back to Stonemark for any future projects I may have.

After getting a few quotes for the job, Signature Countertops was the best option for what we were wanting. I drove from Indianapolis to take a look at everything they had in their warehouse. Bailey was super helpful throughout the entire process. I had some photos of things I liked and she guided me through some options that were similar and in our budget. I ended up purchasing the Thunder Mountain granite. We purchased an under-mount sink from them as well. 2 weeks later someone came out to measure everything before they did the final cutting of it and 2 weeks after that we had it installed! It was so much faster than I expected. The guy who measured and the 2 guys who installed were quick, very professional, and offered to clean up the floors and things afterwards. Definitely would recommend them for a job any day!
