Thank you for coming out last week to fix my hot water heater. I now have flowing hot water & I couldn't be more happier. Special shot out to Lee for doing the work. I called on Wednesday, they tried to add me to the list for that day but ended up coming out on their next available day. Everything worked out as it was supposed to with great communication. I'll be calling for any future plumbing problems. read more

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Shack and Michael for their excellent customer service. They have demonstrated their genuine care and dedication and respect to my husband and I (Navy Veteran). Their professionalism, patience, and willingness to assist us in making sure we had the right garbage disposal. They truly went above and beyond, and I want BSR Plumbing to know that Shack and Michael exemplify what exceptional customer service looks like. Their commitment to their work and professionalism is deeply appreciated and should be recognized. With heartfelt Thanks! The Dr. Jay & Angela Valdez read more

Had a laundry list of plumbing problems that needed to be checked out and addressed in an old house in Temple. Called BSR on Tuesday afternoon. Don and Dillon were dispatched Wed. a.m. They arrived on time and were very nice, polite, efficient, and patient. They fixed 2 of the issues and we got an immediate estimate for the remainder with a list of options and prices. Called the BSR scheduler to approve remaining items on estimate and have them order parts. They are returning tomorrow (Friday) to complete the remaining work. Very pleased, so far, and happy to work with a local business. read more

These folks are friendly and the technicians arrived timely for the requested job. Two technicians were dispatched and both fellas were pleasant enough. My problem is with the overall cost of the job. Initially the dispatch lady I reached by phone (who was quite pleasant) told me the cost to come out would be $69 for our small country church. When the techs arrived I was told the dispatch cost is indeed $69 and the cost to assess would be $189. I was under the impression the $69 charge would include assessment based on my initial conversation when I called for dispatch. The job involved a leaking water line. I pointed out the exact location of the problem. I provided the access point to crawl under the building. The tech found the leak point as I was present the entire time and assisted with turning water off and on. The pex line was cut and spliced. Total needed parts would have been less than $10 in cost. The work took less than one hour and did involve crawling under the peer and beam foundation building (maybe 40 to 50 feet) which was the worst part. However, the space was not extremely tight. My problem as I said is with the total cost. Perhaps this is across the board with plumbers. I felt mislead regarding the assessment cost of $189 which I thought would be the $69. Be aware of this when calling for service. Total cost was $530 for maybe one hour of work which seems exorbitant. Especially given that I advised exactly where the problem was located and details as to what was needed. While folks need to be paid for their work I can't justify the cost we paid for this job. read more

I contacted them about some work I needed to have corrected on a remodel we had done, where a slab leak developed. I sent some pictures and one of their plumbers, Billy, called me to talk through what I was looking for. I explained that I could do the demo (jack-hammering) and need him to do the plumbing repair. He agreed to work with us on that basis and in fact it helped him as he had a very busy schedule. Hi came in as agreed and did an excellent job. He is clearly very technically competent. Billy was kind and honest. Just a very nice guy. I had some contact with someone by phone at the office. She was equally delightful to talk to. I have not met the owners of the business, but you can tell a lot about a company's owners by the kind of people who work for them - and in this case I really liked everything I experienced. I will absolutely be calling this company back for more work in the future. Highly recommended! read more

I called Blount's on 9/28/22 to request new septic service, plus a survey and quote for gas plumbing. I was told they couldn't send anyone that week, but could do it the following Tuesday (10/4/22). Their scheduler said it would be two different people for the visits, but they could both be there that day (Tuesday). I would need to standy-by for that day's appointments between 8am and 7pm. That day came and went, no calls, emails or texts from anyone. I need to have the septic done by 10/8/22, but now don't feel I can trust them for another appointment "day". It would be nice if they would call to let people know they're not going to make their appointments. I lost a day to waiting, and they lost a customer for two separate services. read more

I live in complex where the snow storm caused major leaking pipes throughout the complex. From Feb.15- March 5th I was without running water. I had the pleasure of meeting Billy and Ryan who came out and fixed the pipes, cleaned up after themselves and ensured that everything was in proper working order before they left. Billy was very professional, very careful with moving my washing machine and even went the extra mile and changed one of my hoses on my washing machine. He had a good sense of humor and got the job done quickly and professionally. Thanks Billy. I wish you the best. read more

Christmas Eve we had a sewer back up. Mike came in less than an hour and cleared the problem and scoped the system to make sure we weren't going to have another problem. Highly efficient and completely professional. Mike saved the holidays for us. read more

We have had them for a few years for maintenance on our aerobic system. Their work was good. We had some work done November of last year. Payed by check. 8 months later get a bill in the mail overdue. I called to find out what happen with the check that I had sent. They stated they had reorganization in their office. And was not sure what happen. I had to find the check number from 8 months back. Finally found it called the bank to see if it cleared. Found out it did not. Call them and payed it by credit card. Received from bell county that we needed a maintenance contract by 9/20. Called nick Blount and found out that they were not going to renew contract. They were not going to inform us of this. It seems that a company after all these years would notify a client of this read more

Way too expensive to come out for basic inspection, $189 to run some water down the drain and tell me there's no leak. I understand companies need to make money, but this is not how you win over a customer; this is how you send them to your competitors. read more

Was not happy at all with this company, buying a house in Troy, Texas and had them do the Septic Inspection. The first day they dug up the septic and pumped it and we were told the inspector was on his way. We live in Arizona so no way of being there. That night we got a call the inspector never showed up, the lid for the septic was off and left like that over night. The next morning the inspector finally arrives and inspects the system, when he is done he leaves the septic system open and does not fill in the hole they have made. For what they charged us they could have backfilled what they dug up. Never will use them again. read more

Called this "business" on Monday, 7/20/20 to see if we could get a quote on a new septic system. The "lady" I spoke to asked a few vague questions and told me I would receive a call back within 48 hours. On Thursday, 7/23/20 I called again since I had not gotten my promised call back. It was after 5pm so I got someone who answers the phones for them when they are closed. This person took all the same information I had given on Monday, 7/20/20 and assured me she would pass the information on to the "office manager" and that she would call me first thing the next day, Friday, 7/24/20, never got that call either. Called again on Tuesday, 7/28/20 and talked to, I believe to the same "lady" I had initially talked to on 7/20/20 and again was assured she would have the "office manager" call me either that same day or first thing Wednesday, 7/29/20. It is not 4pm on 7/29/20 and I still have yet to receive a call back. I do not know who own/runs this "business" but they must be the most incompetent person ever. How can you not respond to a prospective customer who potentially could be bringing thousands of dollars to your "business". This "business" has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen in my 60 years. Employees are uninformed, uncaring, untrained and have poor attitudes. Worst "business" I have seen in many years. I am inquiring with the county to report them and file a complaint for their "business" practices. read more

Worst customer service. Rude & incompetent to say the least. There are many choices for plumbing companies in this area, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

Beware. This plumbing company gouged us and did very poor indoor plumbing work for which never received a bid or signed a contract. Their prices are exorbitant, and we have leaks in the reverse osmosis system and the cold water line. They actually charged us for work they never did, and their itemized bill does not even add to their total amount. Hard to believe they have been in business in this small town of Temple Texas for so long. read more

We had Blount's out to do some major septic tank repair work in August. They were quick, professional and reasonable (it wasn't cheap, but we needed a lot done). They did such a good job we had them back in a few weeks to do some more ordinary plumbing. They do excellent work and back up what they do. Highly recommended. read more

I called this company on a Saturday to report a clogged kitchen sink. The phone answerer said I needed to call back on Monday (so much for 24/7 service). I asked him, since you work there, couldn't you tell your office to call me. He agreed. Monday I got a call and said my sink was clogged. Rebecca asked me if I had a grease trap. I said yes. She said We empty grease traps on Wednesdays. I said OK and Wednesday a man pumped-out my grease trap for $425.00. That did not unclog the drain and he left me $425.00 poorer with a clogged drain. Mad, I called the company and finally got hold of the owner. After a long discussion he agreed to send a real plumber - not just a grease trap pumper to adress the reason I called the company to clear the clog. Plumber comes and tells me cost will be another $210.98, I called the owner and after another long discussion he tells me very relunctly, the plumber will auger the line, but if this does not fix the problem, it will cost me more. The plumber was able to clear the clog. I am not happy. Their employees need to be better trained. read more

I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the area looking for a good, honest plumber who takes seriously their commitment to customer satisfaction. I got off to a rough start with this company with a couple of missed appointments, but in the end they did far more than was necessary to make it up to me including after hours visits and greatly reduced labor costs. They went above and beyond what was necessary to make me a happy customer. I'd use them again and recommend that you do too! read more
