I gave him the exact address, description, and dimensions yet each time he sent us a quote it was incorrect. We specifically said 'no flat roof' since the beginning , he quoted us for a flat roof. We particularly measured ourselves a distance of 28 screen enclosure, he quoted for just the existing lanai at 12 feet. And each time he had to make changes, he made it sound like it was our fault that he cannot get the design right . we asked him on three separate occasions why he is not coming out to measure? He said he can pull up all the information online. We are in construction no matter how small or large the job is. Tile work , kitchen , roof etc all needs in person attention to ensure the job is done efficiently and correctly. We would never and the client to send photos or take measurements for a quote , that is part of getting the job. A Large project of footers, pavers, and a screen enclosure should require the same approach in my opinion. We always meet with the customer. To get a better idea of what the job entails, and to completely understand their vision. Josh refused to do calls for the most part, telling me I had to email him . Looking back at my emails and providing screenshots. I have contacted him back in 2021 when my neighbor had their patio done and he gave me the same lazy approach to Sales - refusing to call us back or come out for measurements . His conversations were short and brief, he may be the son of the owner or a relative. I really don't know nor care. But for the owner reading this review - the entitlement status in this company is what is hurting your business. after the 3rd or so estimate (still was NOT getting our design correct also with a 400% price increase of the exact design our neighbor has) we called the office to request a different sales person ...wanting to give this company the benefit of the doubt. An equally young and arrogant sales manager called and within the first two sentences of me speaking. He interrupted me three times almost wanting to argue. My husband jumped on the phone and said we will take our business elsewhere. Some may have had good experiences with Josh, but from our experience in the construction field he is taking an inactive, sluggish, and HANDS OFF role in sales. And mind you, this is a 5 figure job we are paying for. so we will happily take our business elsewhere, even if we have to pay more for less stress .

They worked me into the schedule within 3 weeks and Logan showed up on the promised day and efficiently and quickly replaced 2 ceiling panels and 1 slant panel. I found him to be cheerful and dedicated while he went about his work. Top notch. As a side note, he agreed to help out a neighbor no notice and do a rescreen on her pool cage even as the night was setting in after a long work day. All communication was done through text, and he never returned my phone call, which made the process feel impersonal and unprofessional. He seemed uninterested in the job from the beginning, and because he never evaluated the lanai in person, he failed to recognize that additional repairs were needed. His lack of attention and engagement gave me little confidence in his willingness to do thorough, quality work. Not to mentioned his standoff demeanor and rudeness. I would not recommend this company if you're looking for someone attentive, communicative, and willing to properly assess your project.

FAILED TO HONOR WARRANTY! I had some gutters replaced and one of the reasons I went with A-1 was…read moretheir website claim of "satisfaction guaranteed" (important note: not in writing). They also have written on their estimates: "Lifetime warranty on leaks/7 year labor/20-50 year manufacturers warranty." Their price to replace ~30 feet of gutters was reasonable and they were very friendly. After several years my gutters began to leak at the seams (disappointing but not too big of a deal) but then water began to overflow at one of the sections, creating a waterfall type effect during hard rain. I called naively thinking they would come out and fill the leaks and fix the overflow issue, but they were reluctant to do anything. They first said the leak was because they weren't cleaned regularly (they are 30 feet high with no trees above them), but when they came out to look at the waterflow issue, they stated that what was needed were wider gutters to replace the narrower ones they had initially installed. The cost to "fix" this was ~9x what I had originally paid. When I pointed out the absurdity of this "remedy" to my solution, they did not follow up (they had been calling weekly to let me know about their financing option). Looking back, they were never interested in fixing anything, just angling for more business. In fact, the person they sent out was not even a repairman but the guy that gives estimates. I now have to replace gutters that they replaced-the rest of my gutters are all fine. Incredibly disappointing.
