Despite that, the hire company cancelled at 11am on the day of delivery, leaving our team on site with no equipment, wasted labour, and a completely avoidable delay. When we raised this with their management team, the response was even worse. After initially acknowledging the complaint, they simply stopped replying and claimed their senior managers "hadn't responded". In other words, zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero interest in putting things right. If your project has any kind of deadline, or you need a company that actually honours bookings and communicates like professionals, do not use this company. They cost us time, money, and trust, and their refusal to deal with the issue speaks volumes.

As Black people, we found that remark troubling, dismissive and clearly, assumptions had been made about us before any proper interaction even took place.
