Alda is now standing role model for others to follow with regard to customer service. HomeSense truly needs to commend her for putting the customer needs first. I've been a long time Ballards shopper and they have an excellent team working right now. I missed this store when I had to move to DC. (Tysons BD was the worse. The absolute worse.) It wasn't the color or the size that I wanted, but I did ask him where the bathroom is and she pointed to the bathroom and said the other desks are over there. I'll meet you over there. I went to the bathroom and then came out and waited about five minutes for her and she never came back. As I was leaving, I took a look around. I think they had a total of three desks and one of them was the price of a Pottery barn desk so if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'd rather just go to pottery barn

When we arrived it looked to be not only packed with items, but packed with people. Coming here on a busy weekend day can mean a few things, you're having to constantly say excuse me to get by people, you'll wait in line for a while, and you may or may not lose interest standing in line with all the people. I went straight to the Christmas decor. They had three full rows of items, but I will say, it was only a few days after Halloween, and they still had a bunch of fall/Halloween items they were marking down, so they didn't have ALL their Christmas decor out. After bumping into a few people, I lost interest. I plan on coming here during the week to avoid the crowds.

On my most recent visit, I was on the hunt for an entryway rug. I was impressed to see there were four aisles dedicated just to rugs, so there were plenty of options to choose from. I wasn't sure what size I needed, but they had a rug dimension layout on the floor, which made it so much easier to visualize what would work best in my space. I ended up finding the perfect rug.
