They have to shop several times a week just to keep the place stocked to feed all the kids. My 4 year old started 3 months ago with a very evident speech delay and a hatred of daycare in general (he was at a daycare in Sandy near my employer). He would scream and cry the entire day at the old daycare ALL day. We have not had one issue with him after his second day at Apple. He loves it and is excited to go to "school" everyday. His speech has noticeably improved to where our pediatrician has noticed and commented on the improvement. My 71/2 year old also loves it. She can go and not be relied on to calm her brother down. After reading this review I asked her about the staff finishing their lunches and giving them rotten milk. She said she hasn't seen that happen. I also asked her about the ear pulling and she has not seen that either. We have never been charged more than the contracted amount on our card and have quickly supplied the necessary receipts for childcare reimbursement. The building is a little older but I have seen MUCH much worse as more expensive daycare facilities. That's the only thing keeping them from a 5. All in all, my children are thriving here and they love the staff and I have personally never seen or heard from my kids about the incidents described by Marisol.

Notable problems included: being denied age-appropriate class placement, discovering prioritization of new enrollments for financial reasons, and lack of adherence to the agreed-upon hybrid class plan. My child faced exclusion and discrimination following his special needs diagnosis. Teachers were unhelpful in addressing his needs, and we were abruptly told they couldn't care for him. An ADA complaint was filed, and they're under investigation. Preschool enrollment was denied due to incomplete potty training, despite available services. Alternative arrangements for IEP services were rejected. While some staff showed genuine care, the owner's absence and focus on profits were concerning. He was incredibly thorough, inspecting every part of the fridge and taking the time to explain exactly what he was doing. He showed me what needed to be fixed, why it needed attention, and answered all of my questions. He even went above and beyond by cleaning the back of the refrigerator at no extra charge. Shane is friendly, professional, and clearly knows appliances inside and out. On top of that, his pricing was shockingly reasonable. I was genuinely impressed with the entire experience. I am a single mother of two children that attend Bryden Academy. When I first decided to put my daughter in daycare I was looking for a place that was cheap, reliable and worked with my school and work schedule. And that is exactly what Bryden did for me. Bryden was, and has remained, affordable and I definitely get my money's worth. And it's so nice to be able to drop off my kids everyday and see a familiar face. It really makes it easy for me to leave my kids with them all day so I can provide for my family. My daughter is seven and has been attending Bryden Academy since she was two. She knows all the staff there and almost all the kids. It's so reassuring that there will always be a smiling familiar face there to greet her in the mornings and after school. Since I work all the time the staff takes my daughter to school. But not only do they do that! They make sure she has eaten a good healthy breakfast before leaving, gets her a snack after school and even helps her with her homework! The fact that the staff is able and willing to do all of this is amazing. It makes me feel okay about having to be a working mom and know she is in good hands. I also love that after they leave daycare that we can actually spend quality time together and not have to worry about any of the school stuff. My son is three and has been attending Bryden Academy since he was six weeks old. On my first day back to work I was a wreck. The girls were kind enough to send me pictures of my babies all day and for days after that. It is so nice getting little pictures in my day of the fun activities they are doing. I even love that they are willing to help potty train my little man. Neither of my kids are saints. They have tested some boundaries, but the staff at Bryden have always handled the situations beautifully. If they can't handle it they always call me and let me know what the problem is. They are always looking out for what's best for my kids (and all the other kids) and making their experience there enjoyable. Best daycare ever!!! read more

As a parent of 5 children that have attended Bryden for the last 8 years, it is sad for me to see a family slander a business because of their own mistakes. I know first hand that Bryden does not refuse to pick up ANY child for ANY reason from ANY school. If a child is not picked up, it is because parent communication to the center did not happen. I have witnessed the drivers calling the center, the school, and even attempting to get a hold of the parents from their own personal phones. Denise & her staff spend everyday preparing and doing things for the children enrolled in the center. They are a family. They love all of the children in their care and it shows in their efforts. As far as collections are concerned, every business runs on the payments of its customer. When you sign a contract that states you will pay and you don't, you will be sent to collections. Plain & simple. It is your responsibility to make sure that happens. When you see that it isn't, you should be reaching out to the business to determine why. I challenge anyone looking for a loving family center for the care of their child to reach out & see what Bryden Academy is all about. Do this for yourself & your child! I've been using a Bryden Academy for the last 12 years with both my children. I really enjoy the way they get involved with the kids from itty bitty till school age. They keep the kids entertained with both physical and creative activities. One of my favorite things they do, just because, is the Halloween carnival! They throw it after hours so that every child can have a super fun & safe trick or treat . It's a family time activity and is a great way to get to know other parents and staff. I trust them 100% with my kids and I'm thankful for all they do. I've used other daycares before and was very disapointed. Bryden Academy is the only one that staffs their classroom with quality teachers who truly care about the children. Thanks again you guys rock!!! read more

Bryden Academy is an amazing daycare center! I bring all 4 of my children here. The ratios are NEVER over the state requirements. Some people just don't know what the state ratios are.... the Director, Denise, is the most kind, caring and easy to work with person in the world. She loves the families who come and loves all of her employees. She strives everyday to make the center and the classrooms the very best they can be. I know my children are safe and cared for. This is a great day care. My grandson has gone there for 5 years. Denise and all the teachers genuinely care about the kids. The daycare is always clean and cheerful. I am so thankful we found Bryden, now my other 2 grandsons go there. The kids are well cared for, nutritious meals, snacks and most importantly the kids love it there. We feel so grateful that the small town of Park City has such a progressive and heartfelt learning environment. At her age we wanted our daughter in a school where she was more than just a number. With the small class sizes and low student to teacher ratio they accomplish just that. The enrichment opportunities are many. From drama, to music, spanish, wellness classes and art. Not to mention wonderful after school options. At one point we wanted our daughter to be in one of the local bilingual schools but the spanish teacher at this school is wonderful! Ms K not only teaches them a new language but also includes lessons in mindfulness. Our daughter is able to keep up with her language skills and excel at reading and math which sometimes proves difficult in a bilingual setting. We definitely made the right choice with this school.

Why? I don't know. This happened to me once, thankfully I was smart enough to grab it out of the trash and tie it back on my foot. the lead director once grabbed my arm until it bled. I wet my crib blanket that night with tears. They made up horror stories about this old, dark broom closet and locked kids in there who were too hyper. usually threatening that the "closet alligator" would come get you. I was terrified and petrified there. NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE. They also told me that they would lock me in the closet again if I "tattled" to my mother and father. NOT WORTH THE MENTAL RISK FOR YOUR KIDS!!!

I LOVE LITTLE ORCHARD KAYSVILLE! Just by meeting the program director (Michelle Paez) you get a sense of the high standard Little Orchard PreSchool is held to. My 3.5 y/o has a speech delay, mild sensory sensitivity, and severe separation anxiety. Ms. Michelle reassured me that the staff are prepared to help kids with any transitioning difficulties they may experience. They are INCREDIBLY empathetic and patient with each student, my son actually hung out with Ms. Michelle his first 2 days of school and once he felt safe with her; she helped him transition into the classroom without her. The level of compassion and respect they give to our kids is outstanding. Other things I found note worthy... - CLEAN: The facility has a modern and updated interior. The layout is simple and very clean/organized. - STRUCTURED PROGRAM: The program is Montessori based and is very much routined and structured. They have a set daily schedule and implement early education skills (reading, writing, etc.) - GREAT COMMUNICATION: The program director is the bridge of communication between you/your kids and the teachers. This makes communicating thoughts and concerns consistent and easy! If I have a concern about my son, I can just call, text, or email Ms. Michelle and she does the rest. I decided to write this review bc last week I noticed a bruise on my son's face on a day he had school. I reached out to Ms. Michelle and asked if she could check in with his teachers and see if he had an accident or hurt himself. She called me and said that she had talked to all of staff that interacted with my son AND she personally reviewed footage from his school day to make sure there weren't any incidents where he could have been hurt. I just felt very impressed with the level of safety precautions and immediate communication to re-iterate that our children's safety is their top priority. - COMMUNITY: There are activities that families can participate in that make it fun easy to interact with the school community. - PROCARE APP: Little Orchard has a smartphone app where you can sign in/out your child from school, get personal updates from teachers, get pictures/summaries of activities the kids are doing in real time, update personal information, pay tuition, direct message the staff, etc. The app is user friendly, easy to navigate, and makes it easy to never miss an update!
