From day one, both Ms Jessica and Ms Megan are always welcoming and accommodating. Does not matter the time of day, I get a response to any message I send. The teachers are phenomenal. My 5 year old can name numerous insect body parts, count to 20 in Spanish, doing addition and subtraction on her own, solar systems, and the list goes on and on. She comes home excited about learning and explains in detail what she learned that day. For this age group, I know what a challenge they can be. Ms Mary, our whole family loves her. My daughter asks why she can't come on trips with us. She makes such an effort to love and support the children. She finds their interests and treats every child like they are her own. Our toddler started at the school in August 2025 and he has LOVED it. Not only has he been safe, nurtured, and loved - he has also learned and developed a great deal and has made many new friends. His ability to maintain concentration, complete tasks independently, and verbalize thoughts and emotions has grown leaps and bounds. Indeed, Foothill Montessori is not just a daycare for toddlers and infants - the curriculum and staff provide schooling and learning just like they do for any other age group. I can't say enough good things about my son's Teachers (called "Guides"). Their respect for each child and their ability to teach and manage toddlers - all while maintaining utmost safety within the classroom - is second to none! The curriculum also includes a fantastic music program (which our little guy adores), as well as specific emotional / social development teaching by a dedicated (and amazing) staff-person. Not only have the education and experiences been great for our little guy, but the setting itself is nothing short of pristine. Most other schools (and especially daycares) are slightly dingy and also noisy. Not Foothill Montessori. The building is beautiful, light-filled, and extremely well-maintained. And it's shockingly quiet when you walk the halls. The Teachers / Guides are clearly super-engaged and cultivating an environment that keeps the youngsters' attentions. Most important, the entire staff knows and cares for each and every child. The leadership team and front-office staff seem to know everyone's name. I've observed them greeting by name every single parent and child who enters the school - from infants all the way up to 6th graders. I love dropping our son off to school, as I've come to consider the staff as good friends. And we've also been able to connect with fellow parents and enjoy playdates with other children. In addition to our toddler, we will be enrolling our infant daughter in a few months. All this to say -- I can't recommend Foothill Montessori enough and would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I am impressed that they are learning Biology, Geometry, Geography and not just math and science. They are specific in the field they are studying. They take intriguing field trips that we talk about for weeks. The educational experience is very integrated. They love helping their peers and getting to know the children who are younger and older. Children are respectful and quiet. They are fully absorbed in the learning experience. We have been at the Elizabeth Academy for 3 years now and I only wish we had found out about it sooner. I wish all children could have an educational experience that is as magical as the Elizabeth Academy. In response to the two other reviews... My daughter who is in seventh grade has muscular dystrophy. She was a new student in sixth grade and was heavily encouraged to return in seventh grade. She, in particular, loves the school. For the first time in her life she is not the only child who is different. She is one of two children at the school with a severe physical disability there are also several children with profound mental disabilities. There are many, many children with mild disabilities of varying types. I know that some of these children are there on scholarship and I have seen them return year after year. The school tries to accommodate therapies within the school day. We have been at several schools in two different states. I have never had an educational experience with my children as good as the Elizabeth Academy. I think they do a fantastic job.

The confidence in learning is so evident. They were able to spot a reading difficultly in my child and intervened early and now my child is thriving in reading! Something that I really prize is how the program leads to my child being kind and caring for others. The joy they have in helping the younger children by reading to them, spotting the classmate that doesn't have someone sitting by them and how excited they are to tell me about helping a fellow classmate with a difficult lesson.

They filled out a Jordan district behavioral form on him that sounded nothing like we've ever seen from him! This startled us, so when they told us he needed developmental help and excused us from their program (that same day) we put him through every screening they suggested. He passed everything with flying colors. Every Ped visit, every therapy visit and assessment. Jordan district wouldn't help us place him in any developmental preschool programs because they said he didn't qualify for needing any help from them. We got him into a different preschool. That teachers Jordan district behavioral form she filled out on him looked nothing like what sunshine square said he was acting like. It just read like the exact kid we see here at home. Sunshine squares ultimate lack of communication caused me to really struggle to trust teachers. And be overly harsh with any behavior he had. Years later, he's still flourishing in school, and rocking the dual immersion program (behaviorally, socially, and academically). Thanks to great teachers and communication. We were surprised and bummed to have this experience since we went here for preschool as children. Edit: When we escalated this problem/confusion up with the head lady (Mrs.Susie), all she would say is she has to support her teachers opinion and excuse us from the school. No explanation or discussion, she wouldn't allow us to sit in to see his supposed behaviors, or discuss them with the teacher more so we could understand how he was acting. We felt like they were just getting rid of him, and we didn't know why.
