The twin beds were comfortable and the blankets or warm enough to keep us warm at night while we were running the AC that worked very well. I enjoyed watching the 2020 NBA playoffs on the decent size HD TV that was very clear unlike a lot of other hotel accommodations I've had in the past few weeks. The remote control was easy to figure out it wasn't a hassle. Even though the windows are dirty I haven't been to a place in New York City where there were clean windows so what I appreciate was the view looking outside the window which is a little bit of everything about New York.

Me and my friends were miserable the entire stay. The food was absolutely DISGUSTING. The beds were so uncomfortable, and the pillows were wet... Never going back to this horrible place again. I advise you don't come here either.

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Manhattan…read more Arrived in NYC on July 3 at 6 am taking the red eye, an hour Uber from JFK, we finally get to the hotel, for some ungodly reason the AC was not on, it was it was cooler outside in the street than the lobby and this day as we made curbside @ JFK around 7am it was 87 degrees with 85% humidity plus a forecast of 102+ 90% humidity, news said it would feel like 113 - 115 degrees. Why am I telling you this? Because as I mentioned, the ac was not on in the lobby, well since no rooms were available, the front desk said help yourself to breakfast, going back to the breakfast room, it was similar to an add on greenhouse and with the waffle makers and all Buffet heaters, it had to be 115 - 120 degrees in the breakfast room. We did not expect a room when we arrived at 8am from our red eye from PHX. No Refrigerator, Don't recall ever being in a Marriott with out a fridge, regular size or minis No Microwave, Don't recall ever being in a Marriott with out a microwave Bathroom so small, when opening the door, you either see the toilet because it opened against the sink. The downstairs cafe is nice, and it does get packed in the lobby. Clean gender-neutral bathrooms. The room upstairs is nice, oddly positioned, but nice. There are no ceiling lights, only plug-in ones that are hard to move around the room. The water in the bathroom should run for about 5 minutes before even getting hot water. At night, my husband and I heard squeaking, so either it was a mouse or our imagination.

We picked up OurBus right across from the Javits Center, in the middle of the street…read more The storage bins were labeled, one for Baltimore, the other for DC. He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

Very disappointing experience…read more My family arrived at the Worcester, MA bus stop at 7:35 PM for a scheduled departure. We waited continuously until 8:10 PM, and the bus never arrived. When we contacted customer service, we were told the bus had already left at 7:47 PM, which is simply not consistent with what we experienced. Instead of investigating the situation or showing any empathy, customer service insisted the bus had departed and refused to offer a refund or any meaningful resolution. It's extremely frustrating to be told we missed a bus that never appeared while we were waiting at the designated pickup location. Reliable service and responsive customer support are essential for travelers. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this service and hope the company improves both its bus tracking and customer service processes.

If you've stayed in the Times Square area before, you know how tiny some of those hotel rooms can be. We actually had room to walk around comfortably, and the bathroom wasn't just one step away from the bed like in some of the hotels we've stayed at in the past. LOL! Housekeeping was fantastic! Our room was cleaned every single day, and we always came back to fresh towels and a nicely made bed. It's those little things that make a stay so much more enjoyable. The location was another huge plus! We were surrounded by wonderful Asian restaurants, along with a cute little shop selling delicious pastries and fresh pizza. Being so close to Penn Station was incredibly convenient, especially since we were traveling to MetLife Stadium. Overall, we had a wonderful experience! This hotel is great location wise to both Bryant Park (Winter Village) as well as decent walking distance to both Fifth Ave and Times Square. Staff we interacted with were friendly especially those at the concierge desk with food recommendations and other questions. Also was a big plus to not hear much for city noise considering it's NYC. Onto the negatives though, during check-in and almost any time we were at the lobby it seemed understaffed for front desk causing extremely long wait for checking in. Parking wise I would advise against valet as it took forever for our car to be picked up and we were warned it would take 45mins-hour for our car to be retrieved. Although thankfully when checking out it took around 20 minutes because of our earlier than check-out time departure. Room wise they could use some updating and one of the lights did not work and the worst part was they did not even clean out the trash bin from the previous stay in the bathroom (see pictures). It made us question the quality of cleaning that was performed in general. Before returning to this property I would be checking other NYC Marriott properties for our next trip. The negatives took a little more focus than the positives unfortunately. The best things about here is its location and the concierge staff!

As a librarian, you know I had to stay here…read more I went in fully expecting a fun, book-themed hotel and secretly wondering if it might be a little gimmicky. I was so happy to be wrong. The Library Hotel is every bit as charming as people say, but what really makes it special is the team. I arrived by car while the building was hidden behind scaffolding, and the front desk was incredibly kind and patient, helping guide me to the loading area so I didn't spend my afternoon circling the block. Housekeeping was so gracious and helpful throughout my stay, the bartender at Bookmarks very kindly helped my friend carry our drinks down to the room, and checkout took less than 30 seconds. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The themed rooms are such a fun touch (I loved seeing how each one was inspired by a different subject), but I also have to give a shout-out to the practical things. I took a few work video calls from my room on the 12th floor, and the Wi-Fi was ridiculously good - honestly stronger than the Wi-Fi in my own house when I'm sitting five feet from the modem. Not a second of lag. The TV also had a ton of premium channels, which was such a fun surprise after long days exploring the city. And finally, a standing ovation for the real MVP: the air conditioning. New York was basically a sauna while I was there, and every time I walked back into my room I was greeted by the most glorious arctic blast. It was so good that my friends ended up wanting to hang out in my room and order dinner instead of going back out into the heat. Perfect stay from beginning to end. I can't wait to come back.

I got a petite room since I was traveling alone which I would not recommend for a couple, but for me it was perfect. The bathroom area was the best part and not at all an afterthought. Whenever you get to spend time with other book lovers, it's a plus, so I also very much loved being able to talk to people in the common room on the 2nd floor. Often times NYC misses this in their hotels. The books here aren't anything you really want to read so bring your own books but all in all 5+ stars for me!
