I was referred to a prosthoodontist and called my insurance to find one in my are. I have never liked going to the dentist!! I have always had bad experiences with them (either they don't listen when I tell them what I can afford or they never get me numb before doing work) I just have never had a really good experience with a dentist. So I was very anxious going to Bryant Dental for the 1st time. But it was amazing!! I saw Dr.Hudson . She was amazing!! I always get gas but there's was missing a piece and instead of waiting for them to get it in I just let her numb me with the needle. In the past this was hard to do and took alot but she did it with 2 sticks!! I was amazed!! I had 2 crowns done and didn't feel a thing. Needless to say I love her and Bryant Dental! I have a new dentist now!! Go see them if you are in the area and need a great dentist (ask for Dr Hudson).. read more

This place is trash. I am new to this area, and I had an implant put in at my old dentist. It had to heal for 4 months before a crown could be put on. I since have gotten pregnant and am limiting unnecessary travel and was looking for a local dentist that does zirconia implants (the best biological implants for your health esp while pregnant). Anyway they don't offer zirconia, so I spoke with their office people on doing an impression scan which I would pay for so that I could have the implant done by my old dentist and mailed to have it installed here in madison. Long story short after getting them all the old x-rays, multiple calls, and emails we agreed on a price and they agreed to do the scan. When I got to their office they took 40 minutes to get me in the back to tell me that, I would have to pay for an ENTIRE crown so their "dentist could get paid". Why would I pay them for a crown they are not making. I was happy to pay for the service of getting the scan and also the cement install and pay their dentist for that time, but I didn't want their trash porcelain crown. Anyhoo, no problem solving skills at this office, not updated dentistry since they are sill using porcelain, and also their management is clearly just money hungry and not in the business of helping people. The dentist who saw me seriously needs to work on her personal skills and bedside manners. She came across as condescending and arrogant. Additionally she couldn't even bring herself to introduction when she initially met me, there was pretty much no conversation between us. I left feeling like nothing more then an insurance paycheck. To be fair the dental hygienist was great. She was friendly and took interest in my well being. There are better dentists in Madison who genuinely care about their patients. Bryant dental is a business dentist and has several locations. As a business dentist with a corp HQ they are out to make money. This translates into them doing the hard sell on things like crowns and other high profit procedures. They do not have your best interests in mind, they are only out to make a dollar. They had the nerve to ask my wife to pay her portion of a co-pay weeks before her appointment. They love taking xrays since is 100% on insurance. I recommend not to go here unless you like being ripped off with unneeded procedures. read more

Seemed really good at first, but when an emergency happened they were cold and uncaring. Previous staff was much nicer but suspiciously a bunch of them left all around a short time period. I also found out that most of the work they did on me was unnecessary and my insurance wouldn't cover it. Now I have a huge bill I have to pay out of pocket. Steer clear of this place. read more

Absolutely wonderful. The front office staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I ended up getting a cleaning and my dental hygienist was phenomenal, she showed me how to floss right and helped me understand what was truly going on with my teeth (including understanding water pH levels!). I came back at a later time to get a crown on my tooth. The dentist and dental assistant was so kind and gentle. The assistant helped calm my nerves about getting this done. The dentist checked in with me every so often and added more numbing shots because I needed it. I've never had a dentist do that in my entire life. Overall I had the best experience in my entire life with this dentist office. I'm definitely coming back! read more

After moving to AL in 2017, we started going to Bryant dental regularly, my whole family. After years of horrible billing and having to follow up on appointments being made on days, they weren't even open, I finally met the straw that broke the camels back, Brianna the office manager. Needing a rt canal, they ref me to an endodontist. They were making the appointment, but never did so I found an endodontist on my own. The endodontist asked if I needed pre-medication, which I usually do because I had surgery on my leg 7 years ago and have a piece of metal and lots of screws in there. The endodontist sd that even though I was on an antibiotic for the tooth issue, I should do the protocol and take other anabiotic's, and she pushed my appointment off to the next day to ensure we were going by the book. I called Bryant dental the day after my root canal to set up my crown. They set the appointment up. I asked to be put on a wait list if it could be done any earlier because I was heading out of town. They called me. I confirmed w/ them that I should take my pre-medication RX. They sd yes, and I did and headed into the office, they called me on the way & said they didn't have the proper paperwork that actually required me to take pre-medication, and therefore my appointment would have to be pushed until that information was gathered. Bear in mind this is almost 5 years after being w/them & pre-medicating before every cleaning. Twice a year.  And being asked by my hygienist every time if I pre-medicated. (Tammy. Who was great. And apparently left the doctors office at the beginning of August 2022. She was the only reason my husband & I were staying, because she was so kind & thorough.) I continued to the office to see if there was any paperwork I could take to my primary care physician to get it squared away, so I can get the root canal done hopefully right away because my doctor works right down the st. and I had just taken a lot of antibiotics per their instruction.  Brianna, the office manager, was very short with me, I thought she was having a bad day.  She said I had given them the wrong information and they never had in their records that I was to pre-medicate.   I explained that I had been asked for confirmation at every visit and it must be in there somewhere.  She stacked up papers as if straightening her desk and indirectly inferred I find a new dentist and where can she send my paperwork? Puzzled by this unprofessional behavior I asked to speak to the dentist. She said no!  Confused by the whole situation I left.   After getting in the car, I called around & found a dentist that could see me in a couple days, Talbert family dentist, which I love and I'm so happy to be with now, as is my whole family. ... Later that evening I received a call from Brianna , not to apologize, but to let me know that they did, in fact, have in their records that I was to pre-Medicate. But still needed some confirmation from the surgeon that did the surgery 7 years ago in another state. I explained that we had moved quite a bit and wasn't exactly sure who it was, and never really made sense to me why this was so important that I have been taking the antibiotics prior to each visit anyway.  I asked why she had been so curt with me in the office and she asked me to explain how she had been "rude" I explained that she had been dismissive and basically inferred that I get another dentist & I had no idea why. So a couple of days later in the mail, Brianna had written a, "go find another dentist letter " to me and put it in the mail by 3 o'clock the day that I had gone in for my wait list root canal appointment. Even before she called me that evening. The letter was signed by the dentist which I thought was strange because I can't imagine the dentist wouldn't at least call the patient to find out what was going on. What kind of dental practice fires their patients? I wanted to take time before I wrote this review because my husband had a bridge that he was supposed to have taken care of at the same practice. Bryant dental had suggested that he use a payment plan for the upcoming procedure.  He agreed & they had him sign an electronic contract for the bridge payments. The day before he goes in they call and say they will need full payment b4 they can proceed. (We have never not paid our bills)  He said ok, but what about the pymnt plan contract? apparently the girl who had suggested it to him, is no longer working for Bryant dental, and shld not have established that type of contract and pymnt plan. Really not the patient's fault but apparently that's the way Bryant works,  It's always the patient fault.  I contacted Bryant dental & spoke with Meshell, who was super nice. I conf. the status of my husband's bridge work & whether or not it would be a problem to switch dentist. She sd that wld be fine so we cxcld all future appmnts (mine were still on their books?) I still get billed for their mistakes. Constant changes in billing "department" and mistakes made billing my insurance. I constantly followed up and played the stupid game of having person after person either try to bill my insurance with incorrect information that I've corrected with them COUNTLESS times or they said they would resubmit the claim and never did. Then guess what, it went outside of the time allowed for claims to be submitted and my insurance rejected it. Derp. I told them I wouldn't pay it bc as far as I was concerned I didn't owe it. I did MORE than enough on my part to ensure it was billed correctly and in a timely manner. She said she would speak to her superior and get back to me the next day. I called to follow up and she told me my account would be zeroed and I wouldn't owe it. Phew. She told me I may receive a bill and just to ignore it bc it will have been sent before the account was updated. Sure enough I got a bill. And theeeen..ha ha... and then I got another bill a month later. So I call and was told they've switched billing people AGAIN and that I'd have to pay the bill bc they aren't aware of any agreement. Ya'll...... stick it on my credit report at this point bc I can't even with you anymore. I wrote down every person I talked to, every date I talked to them and every time I talked to them. I wrote down what every person told me and every mistake they made. I documented it all. Don't use this dentist office. Constant change in staff & billing. read more

Not only was I unhappy with the poor service and their inability to return multiple phone calls but, it turns out that the dental work needed to be redone. Within 2 weeks of service one filing fell out and another filling was drilled too close to the root which explains the constant pain. I had these two teeth repaired at another office. Now I find out that a crown they put on several years ago has evidence of decay and needs to be redone. None of this work was covered by insurance because not enough time had passed between their work and the repair. I do not recommend going to this office. read more

The dental hygienist was personable and professional. The dental assistant and dentist (not sure who I saw) were professional and worked very quickly. They both gave detailed explanations of what they were doing while it was happening. Also the dentist was more than concerned with my comfort. I am giving two stars because one of the receptionist has zero social skills. She is rude, and condescending. There was a scheduling mix up and she rescheduled me by my voicemail and when I didn't show up (same day appt) sent me a $50 charge. I called to complain and she was rude and hateful about it. I will not be going back because of her. read more

I have been going to Bryant Dental for a few years now but won't be going back. Since they moved from Countyline Road to Hughes they have been going down. Today was the last straw. After having my teeth cleaned by one of the roughest hygienists I have ever experienced in 50+ years, I had to wait over 30 minutes in the chair for I believe the sole dentist in the building. The offices seemed cluttered and not very clean. The impression I took away is that they are struggling as a practice. I'll look elsewhere in six months. read more

Called 3 times and left messages over 2 days. Called a 3rd day and they answered the phone. When asked why they had not called back I was told they were busy. Have been unable to see the same dentist on a regular basis. Do not like having different dentist and techs for visits. My Son has been going to this dentist for over a year getting a implant , he is in college and time is very limited . They have back for visit and do same procedure of opening up where implant is going , he sits there for over 2 hours to get a procedure done I guess it is because we don't have dental insurance and I pay them !! who knows but they are very in organized and act like they don't care . I started going to Bryant Dental in Madison, and this practice is BY FAR the best practice I have ever been to. I see Dr. Noel, and he is ABSOLUTELY wonderful. I recently had my wisdom teeth out by their oral surgeon, Dr. Bailey, and he was just as great! The staff is courteous, friendly, and they get to know you. I have had several negative experiences with this dental office. First, when I had to have a crown put in, the lab that the office contracts their work out to messed up my crown and made it waaaay too big. Instead of reordering the crown, the dentist took over an hour trying to shave it down to fit in my mouth (trying over and over to fit it in every few minutes). They finally got it to work, but I am still to this day not happy with that dental work and want to have it redone eventually. Second, when I scheduled appointments for both my daughters on the same day/same time months in advance, did their paperwork, checked them out from school, and got to the appointment on time; they then inform me that they only have an appointment on the books for one of my daughters. This was for a simple cleaning & checkup. They didn't even need new X-rays. They wouldn't fit my other daughter in even though it was their screwup and I had gone to the trouble to check her out from school. Then, my final straw was when I had a dental emergency and tried calling their office during business hours only to receive their voicemail. I left a very detailed message explaining what happened and gave all my contact info. Never received a call back! I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I wanted to warn people. This place is very unorganized and unprofessional. I would recommend taking yours and your families' dental needs elsewhere. read more

I went to Dr Noel to fix a broken tooth and came out with an infection, root canal, crown, and was told to get the "fu*!" out of the office since I questioned their use of a small portable fan that was in the room blowing germs and other contamination all over the "sterile" instruments. In addition, this facility does not follow simple CDC hand hygiene on washing their hands. I would never use them again. read more
