I was assured by Dr English I would have access to the scan, if it was beyond his level of expertise. I paid 380.00 for the scan to see if Apex dental could do the dental work I needed. Now I have personally been denied my records including to another dentistry office and North Alabama Oral Facial specialist. I will say Dr English was always good to me and I trusted his opinion of my dental needs. I sadly would not recommend their dental practices and front office personnel. Update Dr English called this morning and acknowledged the impact of the issue and inconvenience this may have caused. I appreciated his understanding and he politely explained the troubles of sharing the Scan. He was so kind to take time out of his day and acknowledge the issue with being able to share the X-ray. It's been a year and time for a checkup for my dental implants. I made an appointment at their new…read morelocation. They moved a few miles from their previous location. I submitted info to update their address. I arrived for my appointment to see Dr. Franks. The new location has more room in each patient room and plenty of space to expand. The interior was spotless. I was called back on time and Dr. Franks came in to see me after her dental assistant took X-rays of my implants. We reviewed my x-rays and there was no change from the previous year. This means I am brushing and flossing properly and no areas of infection have cropped up. Yay! It was an infection that caused me to see Dr. Franks to begin with. If you have dental implants, it's a great idea to have them checked to prevent any unforeseen problems down the road. I didn't know this before my infection. I scheduled my next appointment to see Dr. Franks. I was able to see Maya, one of her first employees. She is as sweet and competent as ever. Dr. Franks gave me a water flossing tool and recommended I use it daily. That in conjunction with proper brushing and flossing will keep implants healthy going forward. I highly recommend Dr. Franks.
