Thank you so much for assisting me in selecting demo racquets. Your guidance and selections were excellent!

Rude, combative, dishonest and disingenuous. Spend your money anywhere else. Even Dicks is more deserving of your business than this spot. Huge lack of accountability and overly defensive in response to any disagreements. Displayed clearly in their response to any constructive criticism via customer reviews. read more

Last time I'll recommend this place or shop here. Owners are very rude and condescending. Came in to help my friend buy his wife her first racket for xmas. They seem to think her first racket needs to be a perfect fit and she'll be using it the rest of her life. Rather this is just a starter racket to see if she'll get into the sport enough to get her a serious racket later. I asked if he could point us towards the oversized head rackets and instead of doing that he went on a long rant about how that's not a good idea for her.... Long story short the surprise is blown since now she has to demo a bunch of rackets before the gift. It's no wonder the shop is always vacant regarding customers. read more

Customer service was great and they had a decent number of options. It's NO frills and very low key which is ok. Just wish they had more options read more

It may take a minute to learn how to interact with Bryan and his mother, but it's been worth it. With the discount program, the prices are reasonable. I usually on go for shoes or restringing, but I've never had a problem. Bryan has opinions that he's willing to share, so it could be worth asking for advice on racquet and strings and stuff. I've got bigger tennis issues than what color strings I use, but some folks think that's really important. read more

Fantastic tennis shop. Recently demoed and purchased racquets here. Bryan and the coworkers were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a new racquet technologies that would work for my game. I've not been anywhere else with this kind of customer service read more

Based on previous user reviews, I was hesitant to visit due to mention that staff and owner did not adhere to mask mandates. However, I couldn't find any other tennis store via Yelp, open at this time. (I have since found a place called "Stringers" but they aren't on Yelp -- apparently Yelp is not big in NC). I visited, prepared to leave if no one was wearing a mask. But the staff put on their masks as soon as I entered and it wasn't an issue. Tried out a couple demos for a week and got a racket re-strung by Vincent, a cool guy. read more

Went in the store last week with a male friend because he wanted to get some demo rackets. As we were leaving, the guy behind the desk (big guy, beard, I assume the owner) made a comment about "make sure to keep him on a short leash" and some other crap. WTH? Have no idea where this came from as I had minimal interaction with this guy while my friend was discussing rackets. It was embarrassing. Won't go back there again. Not sure what prompted this guy to make an inappropriate comment to two strangers. read more

Excellent tennis shop! Bryan is super knowledgeable and you won't find a more stocked shop anywhere else around. His prices are great and the service there is phenomenal! Shoes, strings , racquets, balls and everything thing else in between. He won't pressure you into buying anything but guide you towards your needs. Sometimes you don't need a new Racquet but could customize the one you have, he does that too! Check it out it's worth the trip. read more

I love supporting local businesses and stumbled across Bryan's Tennis on yelp. I needed a new tennis grip for my racket and took it in on a Saturday afternoon 30 minutes prior to closing. I was able to get a brand new grip put on and it was only $6.50. I also inquired about re-stringing my racket and they will do that with a 2-day lead time. The cost varies based on the string. I was really impressed with their knowledge, professionalism and speed. The store also has all kinds of rackets for sale, tennis apparel for men and women, tennis accessories and shoes. After leaving this store, I was so inspired by the icons of Federer, Djokovic and Serena that I wanted to get right back on that court and use my new racket. They are closed Mondays and located behind Westgate Jeep. Super friendly service and thank you for getting me back in the game! read more

Took a ride here to get the grip on my tennis racket replaced. Brought along 2 other rackets for my speed mitton set and they fixed those as well. It cost $7 for each racket. If I got a better grip it probably would have been a little more.. I was just replacing a grip for a spare racket so it was a great price.. Noticed they have an indoor area where it looks like you can test a racket. I have a few racket ball rackets that need new grips so I will be back. They had a great selection of new rackets for adults and juniors. They also had some tennis clothing for adults and juniors. read more

Very attentive staff to help you. Very well-stocked store. Demo racquets joyfully loaned. Like this store a lot.

Went in to this store today excited to spend hundreds of dollars on brand new tennis rackets for me and my wife. Saw ZERO employees wearing masks. Turned around and left and will be taking my business elsewhere. What a shame. read more

In light of our state rules to mandate wearing face coverings in Raleigh, I was taken aback yesterday when visiting the store. Almost all of the customers (about twenty) wore masks, but the two people behind the register, yes, you Bryan, did NOT! Although the sign on the door asks for masks to be worn, evidently this message does not apply to them. What can I say......I left when seeing this behavior. It's for YOUR protection Bryan that we wear these masks, you should feel the same about your client base- read more

Best tennis store in Raleigh. Apart from the free demos. People there know tennis in all aspects. I just got out of their store happy with my Yonex demo that they recommended me according to my needs on court. They told me if i don't like it they still have a couple of models that can help me out with my game. Thanks Bryan! (Or whoever helped me out) read more

Honestly expected better. They didn't do a great job on my racquet (just below the sweet spot there's some fraying on the new strings) and frankly the cashier was just rude...when I dropped off and when I picked up. *shrug* read more

Fantastic from start to finish. even included an extra set of strings with the racquet! very knowledgeable and professional

Great local tennis shop located off Westgate road. Friendly staff who give helpful advice. Good pricing on anything you need for tennis. Also have demo rackets to buy. Great job on restringing my racket read more

Bryan is very knowledgable and friendly. I felt no pressure walking into his store and he was fine answering all the questions I had. He seemed very straight forward and honest and love the fact that we can demo before purchasing the racket. I'm looking forward to selecting a racket and continuing to support this local business. Lee it up Bryan. I enjoyed your passion and enthusiasm for the game. read more

I am very new to tennis and decided to pay Bryans Tennis a visit. I loved how I was able to demo several tennis rackets. Bryan and his staff are very knowledgeable. Great customer service and great deals on the rackets. read more

I took my mother in law here this morning to buy her a new tennis racket for her birthday.... we waited about 20 minutes for someone to help us as the two people working were focused on other seemingly more important customers.. when we finally got help the woman at the store had given the other woman that she was dealing with a couple of pairs of shoes to try on... she talked to us for about a minute and couldn't even offer up any advice on proper grip size then as soon as the other woman had her shoes she immediately focused the attention back to her completely ignoring us. We walked out then... Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced... We ended up going to Love All Tennis... completely opposite experience... they were great read more

We knew Bryan from golfsmith days, before he even opened his own store. And we knew it would be the best tennis store in Raleigh. Bryan is knowledgable and honest, store is always stocked well. Highly recommend! read more

Bryan is extremely patient and knowledgable--especially when dealing with someone that's new to tennis. They have a great selection and a 3/4 size court and ball machine, so you can test onsite. I've bought two racquets, shoes, and more from them. They also offer a fair price for re-stringing, with same-day if needed. read more

Bryans is the best! Very friendly staff, knowledgeable, and helpful! Bryan spent time with my girls hitting to find the perfect racquet, answer any questions we had and also gave us a great deal. You wont find a better place for all your tennis needs. :) read more

I highly recommend Bryan's Tennis based on my personal experience with this store over the past several months. We are new to the area and my son plays a lot of tennis. Bryan noticed I was in at least once a week since his strings were constantly breaking. He recommended a different type of string and now they don't break as much, even though this means less business for him. His prices are also better than those from the big tennis websites for clothing and tennis shoes, and he and his mom are really knowledgeable. Even though we live in Durham it is worth the drive. read more

Just went in to buy shoes, and had the best service ever buying shoes. Bryan spent a huge amount of time with me, as my feet are hard to fit. He was patient and I never felt rushed. I felt like he really knew the technical side of the shoes and how to fit them. First time I had been into Bryans Tennis, and I was very impressed with the amount of inventory in rackets, shoes, balls, etc. read more

Ok you can buy online BUT you will not get the expert advice and service that Bryans tennis provides. They will take their time explaining what the difference is between racquets and they even have a ball machine you can use to try out before buying. Everyone who is serious about tennis goes there or if youre bored and want to talk tennis;) read more

I am fairly new to tennis- played a bit in high-school and then took a long hiatus. I went into Bryan's Tennis today after taking a few months worth of tennis lessons-I had been wearing my Nike running shoes on the court for lessons and had nearly destroyed them. I figured it was time to invest in some real tennis shoes to take my lessons to the next level (and to also stop ruining expensive running shoes). I walked into the store not knowing quite what to expect- fearing a group of snobby country club tennis goers and those who might would hold their noses up if they knew just how beginner I actually am. The complete opposite occurred, I was warmly greeted by the owner Bryan who asked me what I was looking for. I had told him that I had started taking tennis lessons and that I was quite beginner, but that I wanted some good quality tennis shoes to help me take my lessons up to the next level. He was super excited about the fact that I was new to tennis and was extremely interested in helping me find the absolute perfect pair of shoes. Bryan zoomed across the store floor pulling the many shoes down from the racks that he thought would meet my needs for style and comfort. After 45 minutes or so of my indecisiveness, I finally narrowed it down to two pairs of Asics- one crazy pair of awesome yellow ones that were on sale for $80 and another pair of boring black ones for $120. Bryan could tell I was in love with the crazy yellow ones and the fit on each was pretty much the same- he said go with the fun and less expensive ones... obviously, putting his customer's needs and wants before his own profit. I was so very impressed by the amount of personal attention and amazing service that I received at Bryan's Tennis. I will be a long-time supporter of this local business after this experience and I won't go anywhere else for my tennis needs. I am already looking forward to my next big purchase for an awesome new racquet (adios Dick's Sporting Goods pre-strung crappy racquet)! read more

Bryans Tennis - Awesome new tennis shoes from Bryan's... You can't beat the incredible service of this local tennis store! - Tennis Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

I sought help after a minor tennis injury, hoping to improve my equipment and avoid further injury. I visited most of the specialty tennis stores in Cary and Raleigh. Bryans tennis shop was hands down the most incredibly helpful experience. During my months of recovery Brian and Carol worked with me to find the exact equipment to avoid further injury and improved my stroke techniques, and again to avoid injury and improve my play. If you were looking for Solutions and wish to work with people who are caring and patient save time and go to Brian's tennis. read more

I needed the grip on my racket changed and never has it been this easy. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. Bryan recommended a couple of grips and even changed the grip on my racket for me. It was not expensive either. I got exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with how the grip feels. read more

Bryan's Tennis is a fantastic shop. I went there recently to get some general info on tennis equipment. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I got all my questions answered. It was clear the mission at this shop was to help the customers, not make a big sale. It was refreshing to find a local shop with this level of quality service. I would highly recommend Bryan's Tennis. read more
