They actually offer honest opinions! They will tell you if something looks awesome or hideous, without trying to push you towards the more expensive stuff. They can suggest things (again, if you tell them your price range they stick to it, and don't push) and help you decide on stuff. I think they may do some tailoring too. Super friendly and helpful without being overwhelming. This sweet little gem will certainly be somewhere I shop regularly.

I had actually spotted a particular pair of Roberto Viannis I liked and were cheap at the Lougheed location, but since I was on a spending spree at Coquitlam Center I thought I would nip in and try them on. Flagging attention was hard, the store was packed as they have a sale and I guess people are preparing for the holidays, but a very nice staff member came over when she saw me holding a boot looking around for someone. She brought out the shoe box for me to try'm out, however someone had put the wrong boots back. Instead of sending her back to get the same pair I tried the once she brought (same designer). They actually hit me so she actually had to locate the right pair for me. She was so apologetic, when really it wasn't any bother. So, I bought them. The sweet score was they were ridiculously cheap (well, to me... I spend too much on footwear). The associate who helped me was awesome. And it's good to know a place and designer who makes boots I can wear. I would recommend this place for trend shoes. They carry Steven Madden, Roberti Vianni, Vianni Collection, Guess, and Franco Sarto - all inexpensive brands at decent quality, funky design - this way you can have the of the moment shoe without the guilt of wearing them for one season.

Some items were outlet prices not on any additional price reductions but regardless if it's regular price or sale price you still get additional 15-20% off. I barely paid. Honestly. My total was about $600 and I walked out paying $275 with tax!! For a bag and a backpack! My only reason for the reduced stars....they had at least 1 person in the stock room, one person on the floor. One person at the desk doing something not cashier related. And one girl on cash. For a store that sells more expensive items than say forever21..... "1" cashier??? And when I asked the girl up at the front of the store if they could have another cashier. She looked. Wandered into the back. And that was that. She resumed helping staying at the front. I get it someone's gotta stay out at the front of the store. But there's "3" employees in the store on top of her and only one was doing cash. As a business: you're in it to MAKE MONEY???? You have customers lined up PREPARED TO HAND YOU MONEY... why would you make them wait? While the guy in the stock room just wanders back and forth to grab stuff and drop off at the cash desk and disappears to wait for the next item to be grabbed. I was so close to walking out. I came in with such a great mood but the long wait at cash got me just enough irritated that I was almost pissed off when I was paying for my items. People pay the money they do. Cuz they like the brand. And it's not like shopping at Walmart. But when you just keep people waiting like this. It's no different than shopping in cheaper stores, the long lines and understaffing. Make your customer's feel special!! Either hire more cashiers or at least teach them to hop on cash if there's more than 2 people in line. The lady in front of me chatted and chatted then somehow 5 mins later walked away to the side of the desk to wait for something or debate something, and you're just left wondering omg you just wasted 5 mins of my time and you're not even ready to pay? The Burnaby Metropolis Michaels has "2-3" staff and they don't leave people waiting like this. You have at least 4 staff!!

What a gifted artistry it is to show your products in a way that speaks loud and clear to the customers! It makes our shopping choices - effortless. As anyone over size 12 knows, finding clothing that resonates and inspires you to buy, is often a challenge - well that is certainly not the case with this store and it's staff! The ladies are so welcoming, warm and enthusiastic about the clothes and accessories they sell. They are helpful and not intrusive. They are there for your every need. They make light conversation but don't interfere with your (shopping/perusing) process. I can't wait to go back. I think this may have just become one of my favourite 'go to' stores for the multitude of casual and dressy options available and so beautifully displayed + the bonus of great people who work there and really care! So I went in on a cold day (when is ever warm here anyway?), I was mostly attracted by the 70% off sign, I thought they were closing their store but then I found it they were just liquidating most of their merchandise for new ones. The pieces are truly cute and one-of-a-kind pieces you can't find in H&M or Forever 21 and really good quality. Very European stylish meets West Coast and I loved everything, the slashed prices weren't helping my wallet, but who doesn't love a good sale!?!?!?!!!!! So the sales lady whose name I can't remember (she's got black curly hair and a really contagious laugh!!), so nice and so welcoming! I love that there are some decent and nice people in the Northwest! So anyway I walked away with a sweater, top and really cute wrap dress for $80 and I am so happy! I can't wait to come back to Vancouver and come back here, the sale will probably be gone but the store will always carry super awesome pieces that you can't find anywhere...you know those pieces that no one has and is different than any other store, yeah that.
