I really love this place. I was treated by Dr. Bryan Woods' associate, Dr. Anh D. Huynh, DDS. I have been doing a regular cleaning for the past year and I really appreciate their customer services, professionalism and friendliness. The office is very clean and they practice good social distancing. The staff and dentist there seem to really care about you and they tell you honestly on what you need to do/not do. Not my usual dentist, I came here as my parents come to Dr. Wood. A current college student, I was in need of a teeth cleaning ASAP before returning to school as I hadn't found a good dentist near my university - I called Monday morning and was able to get into a cancelation slot that afternoon. During my visit, I discussed a slightly chipped tooth as well as some other concerns I had that had never been fixed in the past (the previous dentists just brushed it off as "aesthetic"). I was treated by Dr Hartley and she recommended some bonding - she also explained that this "aesthetic" problem could get worse and eventually turn into painful cracking. Since I was still in a rush to get back to school at the end of the week, they were able to squeeze me in the next day for a quick fix! My teeth feel and look fantastic. I'm really impressed with the staff whether it's the doctors or the front desk. They don't try and sell you on unnecessary services and answer every question you might have! The dental hygienist was also great in explaining what she was doing (and didn't try to make chit chat with her tools in my mouth - such a pet peeve). Really happy with my two visits! read more

They moved to the shopping center across the street to a brand new office very nice and modern but with that they became geeedy. It was strange to me when I couldn't get an appointment for a routine cleaning than I found out their hygienist left and they couldn't get one right away for who knows what reasons. I had to get a cleaning by the dentist and I can't say it was better than the hygienist I even received expired toothpaste and dental floss during that visit. Time went by he finally got a hygienist and i went in for a cleaning and I was over charged without notice. I had to wait longer than I needed for a routine cleaning plus I was overcharged for a "exam" all he did was check two teeth. Which ofcourse he said he couldn't do anything and recommended a filling in 6 months. Never did he or his new hygienist said you are not due for an exam and this will be extra charge. When I communicated my issue they stalked me over the phone for weeks. I wouldn't recommend this place because they are not honest or communicate well with patients. read more

Dr. Wood was able to save my cracked wisdom tooth! As someone lucky enough to have room in her mouth for all 4 wisdom teeth, I was dreading the thought of having a tooth pulled. Kind of like tires on a car and if you change one, you should take care of all 4. I am extremely grateful that he was able to do a pain-free filling without giving me any type of numbing agent or pain blocker. Dr. Wood, my mans. After the retirement of Dr. Reynolds, I was picked up by one of his associates (working out of the same office). I was a little skeptical at first just because I knew wheat I was getting with Dr. Reynolds, and I hadn't ever met Dr. Wood. I went in less than a week ago for my 6 month routine check up and was pretty pleased with the results. The cleaning was flawless, a few questions about my dental history, but mostly straight to work. When it was time to discuss fillings, he was straight forward and to the point, and willing to show me what I needed and where. Appointments were easy to set up. I'll write an update after I get some filling work done, but so far I'm 100% satisfied with the work that Dr. Wood has done. read more

Dr. Wood and his staff know their trade very well. Comparable to the dental services I used to receive in Southern California ten years ago. I have seen many dentists in the Northern Virginia area that are not of his caliber. His staff is wonderful. Amanda has a bubbly personality and makes you feel welcome, along with Melissa and Loralle. Vanessa and Diane are both excellent hygienists. Dr. Wood corrected a bad crown that his former partner did a few years ago. This week he fixed two cavities with the help of his assistant, Angela. They will process insurance for you. After visiting Bryan D. Wood dental clinic for the first time I feel totally disappointed from my first visit. After having 2 teeth filled, I feel the work and professionalism was some of the worst I have ever seen. My teeth still bring me pain and after he finished he left residue behind. I then informed the clinic of these issues rescheduled an appointment to be re-seen by the doctor. He was very frustrated with what I had to say about the lack of his own performance, very rough with me as he worked on my mouth, and did not numb my mouth beforehand. As a result, I can no longer chew on the left side of my mouth and my teeth are hyper-sensitive to most foods and fluids. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a professional at his level and he has disgraced his profession. To him I would recommend he control his frustration and take the time to listen to my issues more sincerely and be more empathetic to the needs of his paying patients. to anybody reading; I strongly recommend you don't attend this clinic to avoid the pain and suffering I have gone through. ​ read more

They were just ok. If you didn't spend a lot they really weren't interested. I chipped a tooth and called for an appt and Dr Wood was booked so I saw his partner. He fixed my tooth in 30 minutes and in the process chipped the other tooth. Horrible. I ended up going to another dentist so they could fix his work. Would not recommend. read more

I started seeing Dr. Wood almost ten years ago when I first met my wife - it was her dentist, and I had been hesitant to see a dentist after a bad experience a few years earlier. As others have said, everything is good about this place. The front desk staff is awesome, the hygienists clean my teeth better than anyone had before, and I love Dr. Wood. I came to Dr. Woods in December as a new patient. My previous dentist of over 30 years retired in 2015. I was referred to Dr. Wood by one of his patients and I am so happy I made the move! Dr. Wood and his staff are warm and very professional - they each made me feel right at home. Dr. Wood discussed the health of my teeth and gums in detail and developed both a short and long term plan for my dental care. He even took pictures of the problem areas he had identified, showed them to me on a computer and discussed the work they required. I had never before really understood the work that my dentist did on my teeth - at my previous dentist, problems were simply identified, briefly discussed, and then just fixed. By contrast, Dr. Wood's approach is both informative and inclusive - I felt I had both insight and control over the work he did.
