Ok so at first, I didn't understand what the the fuss was about and why there would be a line at one of these locations. I swore I would just never visit one again since its seriously nothing special. I can't say I understand now but what has changed is that I found a flavor that I like. Staff was very nice, friendly and they give big scoops here, so generous. Good two scoops in a purchase for a small cup or waffle cone. That was a bit too much for a person though. Delicious waffle cones in three different sizes. I have tried a small waffle cone with White Turtle and Black Raspberry with caramel. Too good and tasty. Great variety of flavors. They also sell Sundaes, Splits, Cakes, Pies, Shakes, Blasts, Freezes, and specialty items. Location looked very clean and neat. You cannot go inside, only outdoor seating or drive-thru. They added to the outside seating, so there is plenty of room to sit around the building, especially in a nice day. Their ice cream is always so good and yummy. I have been here multiple times and I don't have any complaints as of now. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. I love brusters. In fact, I don't even go to any of the other chains as their ice cream is usually too mushy. This particular location is my favorite. I believe it's black owned and the owner is always around schooling the younger employees on great customer service etc. I always get what I want and never have any issues. Then they have Nathan's fries etc so it's always meal and ice cream for us! Also the wait time is never too long even when the lines are long. The apple dumpling is becoming a favorite with along with the strawberry shortcake with New York cheese cake ice cream yummmm. Definitely recommend. read more

The clerk just would not listen. He completely fouled the order and when I asked for a sugar cup to remove one dip of ice cream from the cone he said that will be 85 cents. "you screwed up the order, not me" I told. He said "I just work here , I don;'t make the rules." Apparently, Graham Central Station requires more unique ingredients than most of their flavor. I was rather disheartened when it was cut from the list but it is back! It's essentially graham cracker crust with dark chocolate chips. So if you are someone who loves the graham cracker crust from key lime pie and cheesecake, I highly recommend it. read more

I love this specific Bruster's bc the staff is very friendly and generous. They give generous size portions and are very helpful. For example, my cousin and I had a coupon for a bogo on the regular size cone, but we didn't know that it came with 3 scoops of ice cream. I love Brusters. My fave ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chip and to me, Brusters have the best, plus I love their homemade waffle cones. I've tried other flavors from strawberry to butter pecan to turtle. Usually I buy the ice cream cake from Brusters cause they have the best. They also give out punch cards so when you're on your 10th one, it's free. I love that. I've never had a problem with coming to this location with customer service. Today, while the young cashier patiently waited for me to make up my mind, I finally decided on Chocolate-Peanut Butter-Ribeye. I love the Waffle cones and was dead set on sinking my teeth into the crunchy goodness! However, when the cashier heard I wanted a large cone, he kindly suggested the waffle bowl as a better choice. Of course, he was right! He would know, right?! The large comes with 3 scoops! For $5.50, that is a lot of ice cream! Just looked up ingredients on their national website. The ice cream is always good, but tonight I took the boys and ordered a scoop of chocolate in a cup with sprinkles, a blast, and a shake through the drive-thru. It wasn't busy, and it took 5 minutes for the single scoop, followed by another 3 minute lag for the shake. 5 minutes later we got the blast. When I asked why the long wait, I got no answer. This place is always skimpy with the ice cream and the sides and toppings. When you are lucky enough to even receive them. Last time we went my son's butterfinger blast had no butterfinger added, and my husband's sundae didn't have hot fudge or peanut butter sauce .... they never add whipped cream and a cherry on their sundaes (this is traditional for an actual sundae, and the Bruster's in Smyrna does it). We use to come here weekly! This store has told us they'll make any flavor of ice cream or yogurt we want. So we ordered a half gallon of nutty coconut, and a half gallon of coffee yogurt. We gave them one phone number for both orders. They called to say the nutty coconut was ready, but said the coffee yogurt would be made available later. 2 months later, they still haven't called to give reason why our request was never honored. If I had to grade them on customer service, they'ed get minus 3 stars. The only reason I allowed to have 2 stars is the ice cream or yogurts are good. When I asked the assistant manager, they gave no reason why my order was never filled, or to say I'm sorry let me place you order again. The employees here have no ownership in the success of the business, or even gave an impression they even cared. Does this chain not teach any corporate beliefs? I'm glad there's another store 4 miles away. We won't be back to this location, ever! read more
