Excellent! Taylor, the manager, really goes the extra mile in service to the customers!

No line to wait on! Plenty of parking! Very clean exterior! On route to where I was going! I was happy before I got my order! The waitress was super quick and heavy on the WHIPPED CREAM! Wow! They must've read my mind! She apologized for it and I told her that it was a blessing. She replied that I made her day! That makes 2 of us! Will definitely be back! read more

I've been coming here for two decades. Cotton candy explosion never fails to satisfy my ice cream craving In the summer the lines can get pretty long but you can actually order online ahead of time and beat the lines Service is always friendly but some employees dole out more generous scoops than others There is no seating, I just eat in my car or stand around the parking lot if it's nice read more

This is the place to go for ice cream, omg! Once you have had some you will always go back! Very crowded in summer eves!

It seems that Brusters has figured out how to make ordering a milkshake on DoorDash not so "confusing". After a terrible meal at Testa Rossa tonight, we decided to fill the hole that they left in our bellies with milkshakes and we didn't have a problem this time ordering them from Brusters on DoorDash. read more

DON'T ORDER ONLINE!!! Bruster's ice cream is the best. No question there. And my order was ready when I arrived to pick it up. So, a star for good ice cream and a star for efficiency. But when I placed an order online, I was surprised to see much lower prices posted on the window than what I had been charged. When I questioned it, I was told that prices are higher for ordering online, that it's a "convenience charge." FOR 2 QUARTS OF ICE CREAM I PAID MORE THAN $5 MORE THAN IF I HAD ORDERED AT THE WINDOW!! Convenience? It's not like they delivered it!!! read more

The real deal of ice cream. Yes it is a bit more than your supermarket brands. But oh my! you get what you pay for. Mmmmm

The ice cream? It's fine, tasty and served in giant portions. (We've shared a "small" between two adults.) But the service brings it down to two stars. The servers are friendly enough but holy smokes it should not take 30 minutes to get ice cream. Things were slow even before COVID-19, but I tried to go a couple days ago and the line was spilling out into the parking lot. And it didn't move at all! I gave it 10 minutes and then gave up. I'll be heading to Rita's or Sweet Nel's for my ice cream fix. read more

Bru-sters reopened about a month ago (4/1/2023). People already in line. I've yet to return - soon.

Solid ice cream place. Came here recently with some friends after visiting Longwood Gardens. I had the butter pecan and raspberry chocolate and thought they were both delicious. read more

I love their ice cream. I just wish there was somewhere to sit besides inside your car...

Just an update to my September 16th review. My purchase was a half gallon of White Turtle. It was mostly vanilla ice cream and little else. They had raised the price to $20. Today I saw that Bruster's in Aston also had White Turtle so I bought a half gallon for comparison. The price was still $15.49, which is what Glen Mills used to be. It had at least four times the nuts, etc. Much better ice cream, same brand, and so much less money. If you're a Glen Mills customer, give Aston a try. You will be surprised. I'm just a customer and no vested interest in either. read more

I've purchased ice cream many times from many Bruster locations around Philly. This is the first somewhat negative review I've done. The quality of the ice cream at this location was good. But, they used a poor customer service practice and would not fix it. I ordered several half gallons (I thought they were half gallons) on line, but when I arrived to pick the up, I was told that I only ordered quarts. When I pulled up the web site, I saw that this location did not even offer half gallons - every other Bruster location including this Glen Mills location offers half gallons. I asked about this and was told that "they didn't have enough half gallon containers, so they pulled it from the menu". I asked for duplicate quarts to equal half gallons in the flavors I purchased, but was charged for all quarts at the quart price. This struck me as manipulating to get a higher price. The amount of ice cream was still two half gallons - but the price was much higher for the 4 quarts. I asked for the half gallon price, but was told "there is no way we can charge that on the computer". Bad customer service. read more

Brusters Icecream is a fun place to go to in the summer since it's outside. My husband gets the oat milk ice cream which is a nice option they offer. Only wish they'd add some picnic tables or a seating area of some kind! Then it'd be perfect! read more

Snickerdoodle ice cream in a fresh, homemade waffle cone. The ice cream here is really nice. Creamy, fresh, smooth. Classic and more unique flavors are available. The snickerdoodle ice cream was I think a smooth vanilla with a crunchy cinnamon-sugar swirl, and they did not skimp. Service was patient and friendly, though I can confirm they are a little slow - but we were in no rush on a cool October Sunday. No where to sit. I found that a little odd and slightly inconvenient as our ice cream was melting fast as we drove away to find a place to enjoy it. read more

Couple things. For one icecream is ok, not amazing but good and since this is like the only icecream place in the area it can do the job. That being said....I think this place could do like vegan flavors..like the van leeuwans of delco. So star away because for a good flavor I gotta do a dairy based icecream even though I prefer not to. Took another star away because there is ALWAYS (I've been here so many times for years) no structure when it comes to a line formation for the windows which is so annoying. Another star was taken away because my total came out to 11 dollars and something...I had 3 coupons( each foe 1 dollar off) ...so I told them to ring up my 3 items separately as 3 orders and she's like ok and I gave her a 20. Came back gave me 10 and some change. I did NOT have the energy to fight this especially because there was a lot of people but like yea that seems odd right. SMH. Staff needs to be more attentive and know how to do transactions. I understand these are high school students and I've worked with highschool students but like come on that is obv and clearly doesn't make sense. I didn't even get the coupons back. Safe to say I would rather go to sweet nels or scooped in media moving forward for some icecream. read more

I've been coming here since I was young and the ice cream has always been amazing. Often staffed by students from the area, they are always nice (even when overworked!). Definitely a recommendation for whatever occasion read more

This is what peanut butter overload with Reese's cups is supposed to taste like. Wow!

Reading reviews like this really makes me question the value of Yelp. Ice cream is easily as good as Häagen-Dazs or Bassetts, maybe a little better. Huge selection of flavors, consistently delicious. Prices are reasonable. L Yes, service is slow because teenagers are running the place - - almost like its a locally owned ice cream stoee or something. read more

This place has potential BUT their portion sizes are on the smaller side. Another issue I have with this place is that I ordered a hot fudge sundae in which they placed the ice cream on top of the hot fudge therefore receiving cold fudge. So disappointing considering what you're paying. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Very ugly sundae. When you put hot fudge on the bottom, it's cold fudge. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

Multiple times we have gotten ice cream that has the consistency of soup. Won't even sit on the cone.

Brusters is my all time favorite restaurant. The ice cream is very cream and I love the variety of flavors. They give generous portions sizes and their ice cream and waffle cones are made fresh daily. I just wish there was seating so you could sit down and enjoy the ice cream. Don't go at the end of the night because they may be out of your favorite flavor! read more

Bruster's is always a great stop to grab some delicious home-made fresh ice cream! Their ingredients are primo and their options are endless. They'll let you sample just about any flavor on the menu and the staff is really knowledgeable about what's in the ice creams available. One time when I came home from college, I requested a certain ice cream about a week in advance and they were able to have it ready when I got home. The staff is always young and outgoing. I highly recommend trying this place, even though it may be on the higher end $$$ wise for ice cream!! read more

I drove 20 minutes only to find that they didn't have any vanilla ice cream or fruit ice creams like peach or cherry vanilla. Waste of my time! read more

The ice cream is really good! Lots of interesting flavors - and you can sign up for email alerts when they make your favorite. The portion sizes are pretty big. The store is very clean. The only reason it's not 5 stars is for customer service. One word...SLOW. They have kids working the windows and the line just crawls. Not so bad if it's a nice evening, but when ice cream freaks (me) line up in thunder storms, hot weather, and in the winter in the freezing cold for a fix, it's annoying. read more

I'm a big ice cream fan, living pretty close to Handel's Homemade Ice Cream in Berwyn. That's the place all other ice cream shoppes measure up to for me. Bruster's is very good! I've tried many flavors, and gotten a waffle cone to go. I really liked that they will mix two flavors in a pint for you, and perfectly put the flavors side by side in the pint. Some of their flavors didn't come close to being as good as versions I've had other places. Their Graham Central Station doesn't even come close to Handel's. Their caramel Twix flavor was good, but barely had any Twix in it. The next time I'm in the area I will be back again! read more

A tradition in the Delaware/PA area, I've never had a bad flavor and the variety is incredible (which can be both good and bad if the flavor you want isn't there). It's all homemade and it's so very very east coast/mid-west. Have to try it. read more

I have a friend who lives within walking distance of Bruster's and, truth be told, I've been known to show up for dinner asking, "I can take the kids to Bruster's when we're done eating, right?" Of course, their little faces light up. A delightful ice cream stand best describes this place. They make their own ice cream daily and offer a plethora of flavors including seasonal faves like pumpkin and peppermint. They offer all the usual suspects in toppings and sundaes. They also make ice cream cakes, which was present at the 8th birthday party of my favorite little miss. Oreo ice-cream with chocolate cake, which was beautifully decorated. The 8 year old was very pleased. Get the Graham Central Station. You won't be sorry. read more

After for looking on Yelp for some local ice cream places open later on a Sunday night in the dead of winter, I found this location. My friends and I looked at the menu online and were excited about all the flavors we saw so we decided to try it out. We got there and the line was long, which to me is a good sign, but when we got to the window we were disappointed. We only saw a small fraction of the flavors that were listed online. The ice cream was OK but nothing memorable, they add way too much whipped cream topping and not enough fudge/peanut butter/whatever sauce. read more

Bruster's is more like an ice cream stand. You place your order outside through a window. The ice cream is a bit pricey but that's probably because everything is made fresh daily. I tried the Mint Chocolate Chip which had a soft, creamy, rich texture. One scoop runs about 2.65. They have a large variety of flavors and also serve other items like smoothies, cakes and pies. read more

3 stars and NOT because of the ice cream, because of the slowness. Its a bunch of young high school / college kids who have no desire to move fast or care people are waiting 10-15 minutes when their is NO line. Ice cream is great, service needs work. Hire an adult to supervise please. read more

Bruster's has some of the most interesting flavors. The cayenne chocolate chunk is flavorful and has a bite! Something ice cream normally does not have but we liked it! I can't wait to try the swirl! read more

The ice cream is really good but the service is really slow. So the net result in an ok experience.

Favorite ice cream .. I love it. Certainly better than Ben & Jerry and Häagen-Dazs. I always get a sundae.

Overpriced ice cream that really isn't all that good. Not to mention the extremely slow service.

We are always interested in trying good ice cream. When we were in the area we stopped by this place. We have been here twice now, and I think the ice cream is really quite good. In fact I had a turtle Sunday during this visit and it was one of the most delicious turtle sundaes I have had in the greater Philadelphia area. The pecans were fresh and salty and added so much interesting taste to the Sunday. It was overall a really great experience. read more
