We love Bruster's in Georgia. There are multiple locations and it's really nice simple ice cream. It's not super special or specialty kind of place but does the job just right. For the true ice cream lovers or if you are short on time you can go thru the drive thru. Ice cream after a hard days work - not a bad idea. I'm not much of a ice cream lover but I usually get their pina colada sherbet. It's a bit sweet but it's nice. My son loves their cherry vanilla flavor in ice cream that has bits of cherry in it. My husband usually gets some kind of chocolate flavor. It's great value for ice cream and they have a few outside seating as well to enjoy it. There is no inside seating but that's ok. The employees are always courteous and get the job done. Bruster's seems like a local favorite in Georgia. read more

Rude service. We ordered 3 waffle cones and a cup of ice cream. At the window the employee (manager) brings out the cup and I ask her if she put a top on it. She basically chastised me by telling her earlier and rudely tells me that next time I should tell them ahead of time. If I had known that they don't put tops on, I would. But you can't ask for something you don't know about. She thrusts the bag with the cup of ice cream at me in which the cup is upside down in the bag. Next the waffle cones come back with the wrong amount of scoops. The third cone is completely wrong with the incorrect ice cream. She had to go back three times to get it correct. Again she thrusts them at me and for good measure has broken the bottom corners off the two waffle cones so that they leak out as the ice cream begins to melt. Where has costumer service gone??? If I could give this location a negative star I would. This location time and time again has disappointed and I have finally learned my lesson. The last time we went here was out of pure convenience so its my fault I gave them a chance once again to screw up my order. However this time the kid at the window wanted to argue with me instead of simply correcting my order telling me 3 times the freeze was made correctly when you could clearly see, smell and taste the icecream in it. I have reached out to corporate and received less than satisfactory results with them thanking me for notifying them. This is no way to run a business. Then the local owner or manager reached out and once again Thanked me for notifying them. No sort of compensating for a over priced item being screwed up. read more

This location needs to work on their ordering system. They had two separate windows where you ordered and picked up. This would of been okay if they had order numbers that they gave out. Most locations I have been to makes your order on demand, so no confusion happens. Someone had took my ice cream by mistake because they got confuse with what was what. This gentleman's hand touched the ice cream cone and handed it back to the sales representative. I sat there and watched the whole thing and told my husband that's my ice cream cone I bet. It was and the representative tried to give me that ice cream cone. I had asked if he had touched that ice cream cone three times because she wouldn't answer me. She finally said yes. I proceeded to tell her I don't want that ice cream cone because he touched it. She was irritated by my statement another representative just looked at her like what do we do. She finally said throw it away and make another. Bruster's are not currently allowing tasting because of Covid, which I understand. Allowing me to take a cone someone else touched is unsanitary even Covid aside. Sadly to say I will not be back to this location due their lack of professionalism. read more

Arrived during their afternoon rush on a Friday. Every employee was occupied either making orders or attending to customers. Had to wait a few minutes, but my mint chocolate cone was delicious. Velma was a hoot and very entertaining while they made my ice cream. It is a little hard to find because of the street setup. Just look for the Kroger, and there you are. read more

Took a ride with my son to get some ice cream. We pulled up ten mins before closing and they had a store full of staff but the lights off. No one was taking orders at the walk up window or the drive thru. We pulled up and tapped on the window and were ignored for a couple of mins by a few of the staff who clearly saw us there and finally someone came so we asked if they were closed and she said they were closing in a few mins but wouldn't take anymore orders.... When I asked why she asked another person if she could take the order and then said they wouldn't cause they were cleaning up..... Strange cause I thought closing time was the time that orders would stop being taken but I guess that's not how it works at this establishment. If they stop taking orders before the advertised closing time then maybe they should be courteous enough to not advertise they are open at a time when they are really cleaning and closing up. I wouldn't waste my time going there again. Bad service and dishonest business. read more

My elderly mom and I received the most horrible treatment by none other than the owner of the Brusters on Braselton Highway today. Just thought you guys should know who we are patronizing. My 77 year old mom wanted a small scoop of ice cream, so I took her by the Brusters for a little treat as we have done numerous times. Usually, we are greeted by the warm cheery smiles and helpfulness of the teenagers and college students that usually work there. But today, we were waited on by the rudest person ever. What was worst is that she was the owner and her actions were unwarranted and down right baffling. Thank God that the young adults that work(ed) there did not adopt her horrible customer service. When she came to the window to repeat the order that we gave her at the speaker she seemed quite agitated, which my mom whispered to me (why is she so angry). I just assumed that maybe she was short staffed because school started back and probably a little overwhelmed and was taking it out in us. I chose to extend grace and ignore her abruptness. Well, she took it up a notch or two when I asked if I could sample a flavor as I did so many times before. She said No!!! We don't do samples!! I said I just sampled a new flavor a few days ago. Hostile again, she said we're not doing it because of the delta variant. Well, honestly that was understandable (minus the hostility that I'm still overlooking). She kept going on about the delta variant then commenced to telling my mother and I we don't have shop there if we don't like it. How rude!!!!! So I took her up on her suggestion, asked for my money back and took my mom and our service elsewhere. I told her that I would be going to Nextdoor to let those who patronized her in the area know how vile her treatment was for no good reason. She clearly did not care and stated it as well. Both teen girls that worked tonight are completely unprofessional!!! My order was wrong after it was called back to me twice by the server, when we were given the ice cream both girls began screaming. One said did you kill it, I'm clocking out while the other attempted to kill what I gather was a roach. I asked her what was wrong and she said nothing. I watched her kill or attempt to kill something and she still handed me ice cream next to where she killed something. I took the ice cream and just threw it away. I was completely disgusted. I called and asked for the manager but was told sorry the manger wasn't there and she hung up. She didn't ask if she could help me or anything. We will never go to Bruster's again. Went to get an ice cream cone. Went thru the drive thru. From the time we got in line until the time we got our cones it was 34 minutes. To make matters worse, one of our orders was wrong. After so long we took the wrong order. No telling how long it would have taken at that point. This is the best Brusters I have ever visited. One of the owner always serves me. She remembers my name and what I like. I love the small hometown experience.
