It was showing a much higher price . We took the 50.00 bike to return desk to see if they could sell it to me for price showing where the bike was in the rack .I was told that they did not have the authority to do so, that manager would make that determination. I asked if I could speak with him. The desk called for him to talk with me. About 15 minutes later a person walked up . His personal appearance lead me to believe he was a customer not the manager. I asked him if I could buy the bike for the price that was listed . In no certain terms was he willing try to work with me . I went home and contacted Godfrey Walmart and was able to get a bike shipped to me that slightly cheaper for $50.00.Very bad experience !!!

The customer service was top notch. The shelves were always well stocked. My local Walmart now is referred to as "the out of stock store." If you have a list you are guaranteed to leave with only 2/3 of the things on that list as my current Walmart WILL be out of stock. My local Walmart must have a beacon atop of it that calls out to all those crazy "people of Walmart" to go there. We have more than our share of these people. We may have 2-3 lanes open. All the serve yourself checkouts are open. Those checkouts are backed up because no one wants to wait in the couple other services lanes actually open. Many of the staff are rude or cranky. Who could blame them? Working in those conditions. Enjoy your good Walmart because they're not all that way. We quit going except when we feel we have no choice....maybe once every couple months.

Their fresh food is fresh, the meet department is very helpful, and they have good variety over all. I have been frustrated at times by this location not carrying things other locations do. My biggest complaint has been relocating items. A couple years ago they redid the floors, updated the walls, and did a massive reorganization. That about did me in!!! They still will randomly change where something is. I think customer satisfaction should be more important than marketing experimentation. That said, the thing I most appreciate is the staff. They have so many employees that have been there "forever". That says a lot. I like supporting businesses that treat their employees well and I appreciate the employees at this store. Just last week I also noticed 3 young new employees with autism employed there. They did a great job, and I was thrilled Schnucks was clearly going out of their way to employ them.

I never leave reviews and don't believe that being critical of the service industry is productive most of the time but this is an unbelievably callous way to treat a loyal customer.
