All the painting they did looks immaculate, and looks great in the listing photos. His estimate was fair, straightforward, and transparent, and also accurate. 10/10 would hire again.

My choice was replacing the panels with vinyl siding or paint. I did my research and decided on paint, and I chose Family Painting after reading the overwhelmingly great reviews they got. I set up an appointment with the owner, Lenin. He came by a day later and sized up the job. Power wash, caulking, prepping, painting, even replacing about 25 feet of fascia that had pretty bad water damage. (I purchased the fascia boards, he nailed them up.) He used Sherwin Williams super paint, a highly rated paint. His first availability was about 2 1/2 weeks later. Day one was all prep work. Day two was all painting. He and his crew took their time and the job was spot on! I feel that for 20 hours labor their charge was very reasonable. I highly recommend Family Painting for your home painting needs!

They did a great job filling large drywall cracks, patching a square of drywall from a plumbing repair, and repainting a bedroom. The owner checked in several times to oversee the work, and had the team add a third coat of paint since the previous color was hard to cover. He even noticed we had a piece of trim by the front door that had recently fallen off. He voluntarily secured and even painted the trim, so it looked good as new and at no charge. They are a small company and busy. We were given an estimated time over a month away, but they very graciously worked us in sooner. We'll definitely use them again.

The work was so good that we also had William and Prince perform some modifications to our dining room lighting (going from one light to two), and also patch and repair our garage walls. Rick is extremely affordable and dependable! We gathered about 3 estimates from different companies…read moreand from the time Rick came to my home to provide me with an estimate, I knew he took pride in his work. He took the time during my initial consultation to understand my overall needs and to be honest, he went above and beyond from what I asked of him. To elaborate a little more on this, he took the initiative to paint a ceiling and entry hallway that were never in the original quote. In one of my rooms the ceiling had left over paint (I failed to touch up when I originally painted it) and he took the initiative to not only touch up the ceiling but paint the complete ceiling to avoid a variance of color. My entry hallway, was a slight color difference and he painted the hallway to not have this slight color difference. Rick originally told me the project would take approximately 4 days, and it took them exactly 4 days. He asked me to do a final walk through once the project was complete to ensure everything was satisfactory prior to receiving final payment and everything was great! Last thing that life made easier for me, they worked around my home furniture and removed/replaced TV mounts, stands, curtain rods for me. Bottom line, I could not be more grateful to have found such an incredible painter that I can count on in the future. Rick thank you for your service and we will be calling you when we move into our new home in about 8 months!

He quoted $2,000 total and promised to finish in one week. I paid a 50% deposit of $1,000. Shortly after starting, he requested another $400. I officially stopped contacting him on May 9, 2026, and had to hire someone else to finish the job. I used him ten years ago and he did great work, but his standards and reliability have completely dropped. He deserves zero stars. Avoid this contractor to save your time and money.
