Initially, the services were great - very professional and great quality. We set up a re-occurring monthly cleaning, but unfortunately no service was provided for 2 months in a row without notice, offer to reschedule, or apology. It was difficult to get a response when following up on the missed services. There may be new management that's dropped the ball but would recommend finding a service that can ensure consistency. read more

We've never had our house cleaned by anyone before today. We had a deep clean by this company and when we walked in the front door it looked like a staged house! We have used Katura Cleaning Services for approximately 2 years. The housekeepers did a good job most of the time. We had a standing appt for every other Tuesday with arrival time between 11:30am - 12:30pm. However, on countless occasions the team would show up much later or on random days without notice. And to be fair, we have had to make last minute rescheduling requests due to sick family members or in the most recent instance, due to flooring contractors not finishing the installation of new floors in our home before the scheduled cleaning service. We requested the next available appt which was obviously an open spot on their schedule. And even though we were helping them fill an empty spot on their schedule, Rosalina, the business owner, manages the scheduling and has made countless errors in communication and created multiple scheduling conflicts, stated that we were going to be charged a rescheduling fee of $50. When I explained to her that we should have charged them a $50 rescheduling fee for the countless times they tried to change our standing appt at the last minute or simply showed up at random times, I got no response other than a suggestion that we find a different cleaning service for our future house cleanings. Rosalina is extremely unorganized and doesn't like to be called out on her poor management skills. I decided to try Katura Cleaning Services based on the combination of price and the reviews. I received nothing less than excellent service. The communication was prompt and clear when setting up services, the employees that came to my home were friendly and professional, and the work done went above and beyond what I was hoping for or expected. I highly recommended this cleaning company and I plan to hire them again for any future cleaning needs that I may have. The only reason that I did not give them 5 stars is because the job that I hired them to do was to only clean three bathrooms, that are smaller than average and it took three hours. I did not think it would take more than 2 hours but they were spotless so I guess its a trade off, and maybe it had to do with the fact that two employees came instead of three, at my request. read more

I used Katura Cleaning Services this weekend and they are a complete rip-off. I would not recommend them at all. They charge $66 per hour for a one time clean and stayed there 2 1/2 hours, didn't clean my master suite, and left smudge marks all over my solid glass back patio door. To clarify, I was quoted 2.5 - 3 hours for the entire house, with 2 people cleaning. I thought that seemed like a lot, but I was in a pinch, so I agreed. However I ended up getting sick on the day of, so I was in the master suite and it was excluded from the cleaning. I was still charged 3 hours (6 total manual labor hours) of cleaning for approximately 800 square feet of space. My house is kept up, I only needed help with the floors and bathrooms and some dusting before a party and ended up paying $198. I had already picked up, there were maybe 3 dishes in the sink, windows were not included, doors/walls/baseboards were not wiped down (as I did not ask for a deep clean), so I have no idea what the heck took 6 hours other than the team taking advantage of the original quote to maximize pay. When I asked the owner what value I received for $200, especially since I was home and did not think the team was there a full 3 hours (I let them in and out), I was simply told I agreed to that estimate (for my whole house...not part of it), and that everyone "lives different lifestyles" and she had no way of knowing how long it would take. Look elsewhere, unless you are looking to spend money! The most I have ever paid before using their services was $85, and that included my entire house. I know how long it takes to clean, because I clean it regularly, and I have had another outside company (who was busy this week) do so too, and it is not 6 hours! BEWARE! There are much more affordable cleaning services that offer more for less and do a much better job. Had I not needed such a last minute service, I would have been much better off.
