Loved brunching here with my Dad today. The staff are so outright friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the breakfast pizza while my dad had the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. Both were delicious! The latte was an extra treat too! We will definitely be back!

This place is so good! We ordered quite a few things not pictured. The burger was amazing, the breakfast pizza was my husbands favorite. The gravy in it was so good. Will definitely be back

Warm, lovely service and a delicious breakfast were just what I needed on a very challenging day. Highly recommend swinging by and filling up!

I feel a little bad about give this a 3 star - there was nothing wrong but it also didn't blow me away. It was average. My friend and I came right through during one of their rushes and it was a bit overwhelming but the line moved well. You order up front, take a number and find a seat. The place was surprisingly big and had indoor tables, couches, bar seating and even patio seating in the back! I was surprised on how big the menu was for what I would consider a coffee shop. I got the pesto chicken grill cheese and a wound up turtle latte. Both were pretty average. The latte was sugar free which was cool but also sooooo sweet. If I were to go back, I'll def ask for only one pump or cut something back. Only gripe is if you have a menu this big, invest in a bigger grill/ panini maker or whatever they make their food with. They did warn us that it would be a 30-45min wait on food but shew it sure felt longer than that. If most customers are going to order food and it's something you're offering, it'll be a good investment than one that just makes one sandwich at a time it seems. Anyways staff was super nice and did their best. The owner came to the tables and chatted which was super nice to see. Maybe I'll come back not during rush hour and it'll be a different experience. It has a lot of potential, just didn't hit the mark this time for me.

Good enough place to eat. Not my favorite; far from hate it. I do love the Pay It Forward Wall though. That's kind of my thing, even though I can't bring myself to use it, lol. It gets a whole star. I usually get the pesto chicken for lunch. It's okay, good for the price. It's well decorated. I love the atmosphere and feng shui. It's clean and roomy and very accommodating. If the food was better, the rating would be perfect. There's nothing wrong with the food at ALL, it's just not mind-blowing. But it does support the vibe of the establishment. 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up. Gotta say, however, it seems as if their hours are just suggested ideas. I've been there when they were supposed to be open a few times. Nothing. Not a good sign. A.

Walked past this place every morning, and it was a chocolate shop. Now, it's an amazing place for food and coffee, and they even have alcohol. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The place is clean and bright. They have the coffee/drink menu, ok the wall, and the food menu is on the counter, ready to grab. There is plenty of seating in the front of the store, inside, back, and even a back patio. There were people there working, others with the little ones, or just hanging out drinking coffee. The menu has breakfast and lunch. We had the parm chicken and chicken pesto. Both with the sidewinders. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection. The pesto was amazing!!!!!! The sidewinder was a cross between potato wedges and curly fries. They have a wall for paying it forward, which was really cool! They have dessert that are ok display when walking in the door as well. I would recommend!

So while I was around, I decided to look for it and we found it. It looks big on the outside and when you go in the left side, your gaze will lock into this spot to your right and it will suddenly transport you to an Italian villa to park yourself on the couch. I wanted to do this but our eyes caught more, the walls, the other cozy table and chairs, the bar like set up to get your coffee, tea, refreshers, or simply eat there. Along the wall by the cashier, they offer to go treats, dark chocolate bars, beef jerky's, cheese bites, high end chips... the pastry display will soon be packed with other goodies that they get delivered. Right now, they have muffins, lemon bars. I also saw a deli meat since they will be serving charcuterie too. By the back door to the patio, they sell bottled drink of all sorts, some I've never seen. We bought a refresher and a chocolate bar that I thought were delicious. The chocolate is of high quality and will bring you satisfaction. The wine area, located to the right side can be closed off for private events or other events. They will offer wine tasting, bottle that you can purchase whether cold or room temp. Once the area is fully finished and stocked, this will be a beautiful spot. The bathrooms are gorgeous and spacious. You will need to check it out for yourself. Lastly, the owners are so nice. I've never met them before but she is the warmest being. She gave us a tour, explained to us how they operate and that soon she will be posting events located above the building where you can enter at the door with an awning 2a. Also, soon, if you are seating outside in the back, you can tap at the small window to order a drink. How convenient is that? Right now, please be patient as they still work out all the kinks to perfect their spot. It is a nice place to go while we wait for our children doing sports near by.

From the soft bright…read moreinviting decor, the cleanliness, comfortability with padded seats, polite and attentive staff, the front of the house manager (i'm guessing) who was keeping operations organized, the friendly and great to talk to owner Larry, and right on down to the rewarding selections of food. It should be noted that "All items can be made gluten free". This place checked off our "boxes". My first observation after being seated, was their coffee machine; it's Lavazza coffee!!!! One of the best Italian coffees you'll find; that's all my family buys. The owner Larry, stated "people say there's 2 absolute favorites that people come back for, the coffee and............the bacon". We agree that not only is the coffee an obvious winner, but the bacon.....OHHHHH THEEeee Bacon!!!! I've recently completed cancer treatments, which has caused me to struggle with food, and found that my tastebuds are quick to alert me to high salts, nitrites/nitrates, msg, basically chemicals. Well, Famous Toastery was my very first breakfast out (2nd meal) in over 7 months and not 1 time did i put the bacon down; or anything for that matter. Nice hearty, meaty, non sizzle on your tounge bacon!! Due to my condition, i didn't "eggspect" to find much on the menu that i'd be able to enjoy but, once i saw the all time classic breakfast it was game on. The "First Responder", comes with 3 scrammbled eggs with cheddar, served with bacon and sausage. You can request "egg whites" for $1. Each item under the "Eggs" list come with your choice of breakfast potatoes, grits, or fruit, and a choice of toast. Along with this, i ordered the "Famous French Toast", which is 3 slices of Texas toast ligjtly dusted with powdered sugar. Ok, you ready for the syrup!?!? Real.....Maple.....Syrup. No high fructose sludge!!! Lastly, the orange juice. Ladies & Gentlemen, Famous Toastery squeezes their OJ, fresh to order! C'mon, How can you not start to love this place already? Secondly, we ordered the Meditteranean Quesadilla, which was on the specials menu. Wow, that was a delicious choice. Scrammbled eggs, feta, pepper jack, cheddar, spinach, onions, and roasted peppers inside a grilled tortilla, with a side of salsa and sour cream. This is not a flimsy, thin quesadilla. It's also not too thick, but it was juuuuust right. If you're not in the mood for breakfast, they also have sandwiches and wraps. While talking with Larry, i mentioned seeing they have a "Reuben" on the menu. Well, Larry peaked my interest by stating "they cook their corn beef DAILY...... in house!!!!!!!! Omg yesssssssss!! Also offered as a substitue, if you're not a corn beefer, is roasted turkey! I could keep going but, you've read enough if you got this far . Now, take your hungry appetite on down to Famous Toastery, in Fuquay-Varina, and get your grub on! They are located in the same shopping center as Kohls, so no worries on parking as they have plenty!!

It tends to be slow, and getting your server's attention can be a challenge. Paying the bill ends up feeling like a project, with long waits just to close out. If service improved, it would make a big difference, but as it stands, the experience doesn't quite match the expectations.

Little Mister enjoys his smiley pancake and was looking forward to it at Eggs Up Grill. What he really wanted were those candy eyeballs. He put in his order and waited patiently. Out came his pancake with the little bowl of blueberries and little bowl of strawberries. No candy eyeballs. The plate looked like it had strawberry juice on it even though the strawberries come in a separate bowl so littles can add their own. We also noticed a piece of pancake in the blueberry bowl. I tried a blueberry and it was warm, not cold like I was expecting. No biggie, maybe someone made a mistake and accidentally added them but scooped them off when they realized it. We encouraged him to go ahead and start crafting his pancake face while we waited for the eyeball delivery. Finally we told him he needed to eat without the eyeballs because we needed to get somewhere. He wasn't having it. No eyeballs, no eating of the pancake. When we asked our server about it, she quickly made it right and actually brought 3 eyeballs! He started eating his pancake and said he tasted banana, of which he is not a fan. We didn't know what to make of that but then realized that there was another menu item that included bananas so maybe someone made the banana thing, realized the mistake and tried to fix it. Anyway, Little Mister could taste the banana and now I was really having reservations about that pancake. He also had scrambled eggs and sausage which he enjoyed. We've been here several times and the food is usually very good and service is great. This recent visit was different but hopefully our next visit will be banana-free with timely eyeballs.
