My experience here wasn't the greatest. The staff were very friendly, which was a great start to my visit here, but the food wasn't the best. I like ordering just a plain cheese pizza, where I can easily taste the dough, cheese and sauce without other toppings masking those flavors, and my pizza was very greasy. I felt like I could see my reflection in the fat that was puddled on my pizza and dripping over the edge of my crust. The crust tasted a bit soggy to me, but I did enjoy the sauce. read more

Bruno's Pizza - Cheese Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Oxford, Ohio

We have come to Oxford from out of town twice and tried to order. The website says "open", the hours posted online say open. No one answers the phone, we've called up to an hour later, still not open. Went uptown to order...closed, no hours posted, not a soul in sight. Where's the owner/manager? read more

The pizza was so good and the Pepsi was really good too. This is a really good place with only three people working.

I ordered a chicken Alfredo no sauce just noodle and chicken. I was told to call back later. As a server and bartender and manager. Get your crew together. Come up with a better excuse. But it's fine. Iv already reported the way you spoke to me also. Good luck. And welcome to Ohio! read more

Catherine was great! Very welcoming and friendly. The service was quick and my husband and youngest son kept mentioning how good the pizza was between bites. read more

I'm from Italy and was feeling homesick. I generally avoid "Italian" food in America - it's not good and I can't appreciate it. My dear friend Sandra recommended BRUNO'S to me. So good! The pizza was authentic with a heavenly sauce - I was reminded of my grandmother and Sunday dinner with her. My eyes got a little misty after my second slice of the pepperoni. I also want to compliment the kind and attentive staff. Who needs Olive Garden? When you're HERE, you ARE family! read more

Just spent 55.00 on pizza and lasagna and the crust will cut your lip it's so hard and u have to search for a noodle in that so called lasagna. It's all canned sauce. I'm so upset first time and it will be my last read more

First time back in years, did not disappoint! Baked spaghetti and meatballs, Bruno's dough app, sausage and pepperoni pizza all amazing!

Absolute horrible experience tonight. We ordered Bruno balls and a whole pizza but they never gave us the whole pizza. Never got a receipt to get the whole pizza. Was yelled to get out of the way and never got our pizza. Asked for a refund of our pizza and they wouldn't talk to us. There were people behind us: Bruno's took their receipt and crumpled it up and didn't give them their food either. 60 bucks down the drain and nothing to show for it. Watch your receipt, folks. read more

Meh...it's drunk food for when you're drunk. If you're in Oxford in the middle of the week? Yeah, good luck getting a slice or whole pizza at any time. Their hours are all messed up after COVID, so all of you trying to feel that nostalgia...? Yeah, go to Mac n' Joes, get a single of Chernobyl wings, a pitcher of Yuengling and thank me later. Bruno's stopped trying and doesn't give a crap because they'll still move 1,000 slices at 2am every Friday & Saturday. Don't waste your time. If you REALLY want pizza, get Cassano's in Eaton on your way out of town. read more

A good drunk pizza place but that's about it. Not a place you can sit down at I think? It's grab n go but the employees are always really rude. Get the Bruno balls read more

Bruno's pizza was the pizza of my childhood and college days. It's the same now as it was the first time I ate it 45 years ago. Plain cheese with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano and your set up for a great meal. It's one of the few businesses that has not changed in Oxford that has changed from a great locally owned business community to a corporate chain mess. I love this place. read more

This is my son's favorite pizza - without fail! When we are uptown he asks to grab a slice. He also happens to love the staff, especially the woman with dark hair - she is always excited to see the kids. Thanks Bruno's read more

Lady handed me my pizza with her bare hands and was rude. Mediocre pizza but it will suffice if you are fucked up! #notauthenticitalian

Let me first start by saying I've been eating Bruno's since I can remember. Unfortunately tonight was the last time. We placed an order through DoorDash and when we received our order, it was incorrect. A pizza came with nothing on it. We called the restaurant and I explained what had happened. The worker on the phone was not accommodating, did not apologize, argued with me and when I asked for the manager, she said they were busy and that was not an option. Finally I got the manager on the phone which did not go any better. Here's the kicker: After giving my complaint I asked for the owner name and he said it was him. OH. My. God. Really?!? When I was complaining to him about everything, he did not apologize, he did not offer solutions, he did not care. He said to get ahold of DoorDash, non caring. I told him about how the staff wasn't going to get the manager and he blurted out, well I am busy and I probably have pizza burning because I'm on the phone with you. I proceeded to say this was poor service and we would not be returning He seemed to not care. Shame on you, owner of Bruno's. read more

Extremely disappointed with the quality of food. There was an eyelash in my dough balls and the red sauce even tasted as if it was old. Waste of money but the delivery is fast. I expected more food when ordering this but unfortunately, this is what I got read more

Bruno's is a good establishment. Their pizza is good and so is their other food. I'm leaving a poor review because their employees are so bad. They are literally the rudest people I've met. They are in a college town working late so yes there will be intoxicated people. They do not have to act like they don't want to be there. Pick another profession. Horrible experience with the workers every time and every single student at Miami knows of these rude people. Get new employees who aren't so entitled. Absolutely horrible people. read more

my friends and i went to bruno's and the young ladies working were very rude. after correcting my friend about the pay screen not being touch screen, they both started laughing and making fun of her. we then asked for a side of ranch and they laughed saying it was extra. while walking out we looked back at them rolling their eyes. very disappointed in the service and won't be returning. read more

A certain lady is very rude. I have a gluten Intolerance and she couldn't have been more condescending about allergies. Very disappointing experience. Love the pizza, workers could use some work. read more

Popped in for a quick lunch. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered a phillly cheesesteak and the boneless wings. The cheesesteak was excellent! Their bread is more like a garlic Parmesan bread, which was really tasty! The wings were excellent- clearly made in house, not frozen. The restaurant itself was really cute and very clean. The (women's) restroom was also clean. Great little spot! read more

This pizza is nauseating. The cheese tastes of expiration dates. And you can't ignore it. The amount of cheese they put on a pizza is mind boggling. And the crust isn't much better. read more

So totally rude. We ordered a cheese pizza then saw the special of 2 large 1 topping pizzas. We want to added a second pizza to get the special. Holy mother of Bruno's Dough! A first review. Wow, where do I start? For starter's, Bruno's is the home of the slice. It's not the place you want to go to get a gourmet pie... it's the place you want to hit at 2 AM to get a slice of the tastiest greasiest pizza in town! Get to know this place as a freshmen, and it will change your college experience forever. So, go there, throw some Springsteen on the jukebox, and celebrate the tradition of Brun-doggs! But not only is Bruno's the home of the slice, it's the home of the dough! Bruno's dough is incredible... homemade dough, deep fried, and covered with parmesan. As the locals say, "it's killer!". I mean, you might think that the employee running his hand through a carburetor before forming these perfect dough balls is disgusting, but it adds to the taste. You gotta experience it for yourself! The alley location is now gone, or I would have rated Bruno's with 25 stars! LONG LIVE BRUNO'S! ALSO... Legend has it that there is a Bruno's documentary floating around that is the funniest thing ever! Hopefully someone will post it to youtube. Anyone seen it???? Addition: I found the documentary! http://vimeo.com/3268365 read more

Ordered a pizza and an appetizer at 10:15pm for delivery. Food didnt show up until 12:30am. At 11:20ish pm I had called the store to ask if my order went through the system. I was polite becaue I know food industry work sucks. But the man told me he was slammed and getting to my order soon. I wasn't upset. I was trying to say it wasn't a problem and I just wanted to check but he rudely cut me off and said he got it and would get to it whenever. I was being politt, but he was rude and hostile when I simply wanted to make sure it wasn't a technical error. Seriously, I would give 0 stars if I could. I know minimum wage food service sucks but seriously no need to be such an ass to customers when they are just trying to communicate with your business about their order. This is my first ever yelp review because their service made me so angry I felt compelled to make an account to write this. read more

No. The food is decent enough but the service is horrible. Not even talking about sitting down inside of the place, but simply going to the walk up counter is a horrible experience. Rude owner and workers. I've gone to the walk up window before and witnessed a dispute between workers while waiting for my food- no regard for customers being present at all. I only go to Bruno's when it's late night and everything else on High Street is closed. read more

Bruno's Pizza - Delivery!! - Pizza Near Me - Oxford, Ohio

Bruno's is a great little college town pizza joint. It's not fancy, and it's not fancy chef food... but it is awesome. I'll admit, I went to Miami University way back when, so I remember lots of fun nights getting 50 cent slices of Bruno's pizza from the carry out window after drinking too much at the bars. So a lot of nostalgia is attached to my review, but I do love the pizza. It's not fancy, it's just good. Hot, chewy melty cheese, and just enough sauce on top of a crispy crust. They also have a few pasta standards, basic salads, and a few appetizers. Service was a little off the last time we went... one dish came out WAY later than all the others. But, go in expecting a basic pizza joint and you won't be disappointed. read more

First place we ate at in Oxford, while on a campus visit. We haven't eaten there again. It's always crowded, but the pizza isn't appetizing. Its incredibly cheap by-the-slice prices keep the undergrads rolling in off High Street. Very few places to sit indoors. Friendly staff, but incredibly filthy and unwelcoming to the over-21 crowd. read more

OK, it's been years, but I'm reliving my past through yelp and felt the need to chime in. I used to live off an alleyway with Bruno's between the "thriving downtown" of Oxford and my hovel. I cannot count the number of times this place gave me some free food. Probably because it was only dwarfed by the number of times I bought a slice, or ten, on my stumble home. I think it should be said, this place is intended to be food for those starving at 2am after a night of drinking and partying. Don't go here expecting to get something excellent. Go here for a slice that is perfect at soaking up all that alcohol in your system. Let me put it this way--it's better than La Bamba's. read more
