"Kids these days" is what she said loud enough so I can hear. I ignored it because what a small mind. Get with the times, lady. Second, the dental hygienist was ok. While cleaning my teeth, I lifted my phone up to look at an email. She told me to put it down as it was distracting. Ok. Then she proceeds to ask me of I like living Downtown. I told her questions are distracting. Honestly, other than yes and no, how can I answer that with two hands in my mouth? Dr. Wehrle came in, stood next to me and asked me what's wrong. He never introduced himself or said my name, just awkwardly stood next to me. I was a bit confused. So, I guess he meant if I was having any issues with my teeth. Which was no, I'm here for a routine cleaning, cavity check and so forth. Then proceeded to tell me he never had this issue with a patient. I have never had this weird interaction with any dental provider. I am a YOUNG, BLACK PROFESSIONAL, so I am unsure exactly where I went wrong to expect good manners and a welcoming environment, but this place just are incapable of providing such customer service. Maybe I am not their ideal patient and it was entirely EVIDENT. Clearly, the ENTIRE team forgot to bring their soft skills to work today. The entire staff was rude, insensitive, unwelcoming, nosey, and quite frankly I am upset I even decided to come here. I would give zero stars if I could. These people clearly want a certain kind of patient and it was not me. BEWARE.

My dental hygienist, Karen Smith, has also been with me for longer than I can remember. She does an incredible job with x-rays and cleaning. Outside of the friendly, family environment, what I love most about this practice is that every visit is fast - and the bill (after insurance, of course) is always very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Wehrle for your dental needs!
