Elmo was so kind and polite when he checked to see if his store had any on the shelf. While on a brief hold he came back on the line to let me know it would be just a little bit longer so that he could make sure there was someone in store with experience in filling the tanks. I really appreciated that update. It made me feel like a valued customer. When I arrived in store 20 minutes later I encountered Elmo on his hands and knees pounding out a baseball glove straight from the steamer on a cushion placed on the floor with a wooden mallet! Elmo is incredible. It's obvious that he loves his job! I introduced myself and away we went to get the Co2 tanks! He directed me to pay for them up front and in the meantime he'd find someone to fill them for me. After paying, I returned to where I'd left him and sure to his word Elmo and Josh, the store manager was waiting for me to return with my receipt. I can't thank Elmo enough. The T-shirt cannon worked like a charm! Please let him know what a fantastic job he is doing! I told him he was awesome and he just gave me a little chuckle. I will be back to Dick's to refill my tanks and I hope to run into Elmo the next time I'm there! Thank you Elmo!

I am a woman and my contact at Powderhorn was patient with me and explained the stores "90 day LAYAWAY" which is 20percent down and then 3 months to pay. Minor work sometimes can be done while you wait and more elaborate stuff may take overnight. The other great thing is they have LAY-AWAY, I used it before, for a shotgun I wanted, but didn't really care to have it right away. It worked out great, I made a few payments here and there, then bam, I was at the shooting range. The prices are pretty good, but what makes them special, is that they offer guns that you won't find at Academy or most commercial gun stores, i.e. AK-47, AK- pistol, SKS style shotguns, etc... So, if you are looking for stuff that you can find at Academy, you'd save a few more dollars for those types of guns at Acadmey since they buy in bulk, but if you can't afford to buy the gun outright then go to Powder Horn and put it on lay away or start saving.

Even after admitting their mistake, they refused to cover the reshipment cost and made me pay again. Yes they had a lot of hats but most of them didn't look good on me. So I just stuck with the shirts even though they were 30 bucks. The customer service was alright but it could've been better seeing how expensive it was. So I ended up buying 2 shirts and I'm glad I stopped there. I didn't realize until later that I should have gone to Walmart. Yes I did go to Walmart and they had a lot of merchandise. 13 bucks for a shirt and the shirt did look decent. So I bought 4 shirts and almost bought a sweater which was only 11 bucks. I wish I had gone to Walmart in the first place I could've cleaned up. I'm happy with the quality of the shirts at Champs and the amount of Spurs hats they had.
