We spoke about the length and she showed me what she thought an appropriate length with her fingers. I did the "GQ experience" and a Beard Trim + Shave Underneath. She cut my hair incredibly short at least an inch shorter than we talked about and didn't compensate well for my cowlick, which I had pointed out. She completely screwed up my mustache with an uneven line and about 1/8th of inch above my lip after asking how I wanted it. I honestly can't believe how bad of a job she did.

But I simply did not get the haircut I requested…read more I went in with medium/long hair asking for a simple trim of an inch off the back and another inch off of the top. I wanted maintenance and the bangs out of my eyes. But, I left with a totally different drastically shorter hairstyle that I didn't request. I even specifically told the stylist not to cut the sides since the stiffness of my hair causes it to stick out unless it's long enough to comb back. As you can see from the pic - the sides were cut and now stick-out. The pic also shows that the back is also awkwardly squared-off. So, I'm forced to find another stylist to fix what was done (which will sadly cause me to have an even shorter cut). I estimate it will take 3-4 months to grow back the damage done. My guess is that if you have very short hair that needs periodic maintenance, or, if you want that luxurious barbershop shave and men's spa vibe. This might be a great spot for you. They also have an entire section for mani/pedis that look super comfortable for dudes. So there's that too. But, I can't say it's a place where you'll get the cut you ask for.
