I give Bruce's 2.5 stars, took our truck there as they were one of our insurance's body shops, it was the first and only place we went which was our fault for not going more places. My husband took it in for estimate, and he came home saying, "they (Dillon) told me that since the truck they would have to paint 1/2 to 3/4's of the truck to repair the damage, that they would paint the entire truck so it would all match, that they didn't like to paint 1/2 to 3/4 of a vehicle to look like new and leave the rest, and he inspects all work because they strive to satisfy their customer" My husband even said he would pay extra to repair a few small dings in the paint that were previously there from normal road wear. They said that was not necessary because they would have the paint already mixed and the chips/dings existing prior to accident were minimal and it would be no problem at all. So we went with them, was told it would take 10-14 days for repairs. 5 days later we get a call our truck is ready, we thought wow that was quick! We were disappointed when we got there and saw that no the entire truck was not repainted nor were chips repaired as we were told, I mentioned this to Dillon, and he said, "Yes I did say that didn't I" then he said, "well he could touch it up before we left" and he did with a brush. We would not have expected the entire truck repainted if we had not been told this by the body shop, if they were only going to do the bare minimum then they should not have lead us to believe otherwise or we might have gotten a few more estimates, because I believe we could have had the entire truck repainted elsewhere for the price we were charged, between what our insurance paid and our deductible. And at the very least they could have bought a new Ford emblem for the new grill they put in, yes ours was faded, BUT it could have been repainted before putting it on a new grill or a new one could have been purchased, I inquired about it and was told they replaced it from one they had in their tool box, it looks as tacky as our old one did. Did they repair the damage, mostly, and some parts were from their "tool box they just had laying around" we think some of the scratches on the side of the bed were from deer hoofs, were from this accident that remain, which would have been taken care of with a new paint job. Will we use Bruce's again, who knows, they were courteous, they did apologize and said "they have been covered up with insurance jobs", of course not sorry enough to wave our deductible, but I will definitely go more places and receive more estimates if the need arises. read more
