He carefully interviewed me for almost an hour and came up with a diagnoses and a game plan that worked almost immediately. Awful taste in my mouth was the main problem. A taste I could not live with. Dr. Eric Loch was filling in for my awesome Ear, Nose Throat Surgeon - Agnes Nall when I met him. She had performed a total thyroidectomy on me a few months ago and scar was very small and positioned in natural neck line, compared to what I was seeing with other surgeons. Anyway she was on vacation and my mystery could not wait. I was really impressed I received the same careful care I received with Dr Nall with Dr Eric Loch. This issue was about dentist and oral surgeons vague with me but claiming I needed like four different RE-Route canals in my upper mouth and it just really became clear I had something wrong with my sinuses although no stuffy nose at all. Dr Eric Loch figured out I had something simple but rather serious that also alleviated OTHER problems I was having such as blood pressure constantly high no matter how many BP meds I was on. His diagnosis was tentatively (until formal sleep study) Sleep Apena. I am not sure I really believed him until I got home and began protocol for sleep apnea and read up on it. This explained blood shit eyes, awful snoring, high blood pressure and constant lethargy, among other symptoms that can be anything. My life got better VERY FAST because of Dr Loch. He gave me like five simple things I could do right away, and the next morning I felt better than I have in a few years. And by the way if they have to scope you its so simple you wont even notice. They can go down all three ports at once, very fast and took like a few seconds. My weekend was so great, it was the first weekend I felt really good in a long time also. Bottom line I had sleep apena bad and snoring is not normal. There are dentist trying to market sleep apnea products but I do not think they let saliva move or address the nose (which is the most important thing to address) so I will go with equipment about the nose. So Manatee Ear, Nose Throat are ALL really good specialists and I noticed most of their staff are patients. One has constant tinitus. So they seem to also recognise their staff are important and seem to treat them really well.

I selected her as the best Doctor after a few months of research. I see Dr Agnes Nall out in Lakewood Ranch, FL [Ear, Nose Throat] as well as in Downtown Bradenton. She did a neighbors partial thyroidectomy and I was impressed on how limited the scar was and how well preserved her vocals were. I kept looking for more reviews but there is not many great surgeons to choose from. Why? I found selecting a Doctor is not like picking a restaurant or some great experience we want to post about. So happy people tend to move on and not post. This choice is FAR more important than a dining experience, so I plan to post anywhere I can. My research found 7 in 7 people who had a total or partial thyroidectomy via surgery were happy they did, and wished they had done it sooner. I cannot say the same for 3 more who opted for radiation ablation with their endocrinologist. Only one out of 3 who did it via ablation - a male- was happy. Anyway I am thrilled I picked surgery and the right surgeon to preform it. She is very laid back, down to earth, highly experienced, and does take time with her patients.

The first time we met with Dr. Shea, he could see how terrified she was and did not want to make her fear worse. He informed us that the object was not hurting anything in its current spot and told us to make an appt. for a later date to see if she was calmer or if it came out on its own. Fast forward to today... my daughter still panicking and in tears awaiting the appointment. He did not pressure her at all, but was very reassuring and sweet. He showed her where it was on a special camera and asked her to let him try and he would stop anytime she wanted. I could see she was reluctant but finally agreed. He was very skilled and gentle and got it out with no issue. It's a huge relief in our home, and I think this positive experience will encourage her to trust medical professionals in the future. After gastrointestinal and other systemic investigations yielded nothing, my PCP sent me to Dr. Deems to address recent onset of Tinnitus. I had merely entered a check mark on the intake form my form acknowledging experiencing pervasive nausea. He picked up on that immediately and tested for vestibular anomalies (ear/balance). And there it was. In short my inner ear balance mechanism was out of synch. What was once ultimately cured surgically at the expense of hearing, could be corrected with a very specialized form of PT designed to rerouted neuropsychological navigation. When I went back for follow up, I was tested again and did not have dementia. I had my sister with me this time. Three worth worst months of my life. Right prior to Christmas and my daughter's wedding. Imagine watching your mother die from dementia and then being told you had it. I was 63 at the time. After a week with NO communication, I called the endocrinologist's office and they tell me "well, we don't accept self pay". A whole week goes by and only when I take the initiative to call do I find out they have no intention of seeing me? PITIFUL The endocrinologist's office says "No insurance, no service". No exceptions. Are you sick? Do you need immediate care? Not their problem. Drop dead. Luckily, I found a doctor who will accept CASH and have an appointment on the 13th. IN MY OPINION, this group cares more about getting insurance rates than cash. If you are sick, I would look elsewhere. I did get a call today saying they could get me in on Jan. 6, since I now have insurance they can bill. PITIFUL
