The care from this team is truly stellar! Have you ever met people who are genuinely good, kind, and compassionate? That's exactly what you'll find here. I've known Dr. Dwelly since before my son was born nearly 20 years ago, and I was so happy to find him again a couple of years ago. Dr. Dwelly has a true gift. He doesn't just perform an adjustment--he has an incredible ability to understand what your body needs. Time after time, I've walked into his office hurting and left feeling better. He is intuitive, genuinely cares about his patients, and is dedicated to helping them heal. That combination is rare. I also have to mention Mayleene. She is absolutely wonderful--kind, caring, responsive, and goes above and beyond in ways that are so rare these days. She is truly a gem. Together, they make an outstanding team that genuinely cares about their patients. Thank you, Dr. Dwelly and Mayleene, for the exceptional care, kindness, and dedication you show every day. You are both true gems, and I feel incredibly grateful to have found you again. read more

Dr. Bruce! I don't even have words for how much he has helped me and just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes. I am so grateful. I have Polytrauma from a dog attack. For a year I had tried 3 types of therapy including Facia. None worked or made my pain worse. I was told many times by Mailene, the receptionist for multiple Dr's, to go to him, but I am not a chiro gal (or wasn't). But spasming back muscles, neck pain forced me to try and in just one visit gave me amazing relief. Dr. Bruce takes his time listens, feels the muscles and body structure before doing anything! I'm so thankful the very least I can do is bring fresh summer fruits and thank him here! Father God bless him in Jesus' Name and Mailene for pushing me! read more

Bruce is just the best. He is so kind and gentle. He is very accommodating and really fun to talk with as well. His secretary Maylene is very friendly and sweet, and his little dog Luna is just the bomb. I will never let him retire! read more

Great lvl of care. Hes in it to help and supports a active life style to complement corrections

Long over due. I was referred to Doctor Dwelly by my attorney following a car accident in 2015. Office is located on Greenback. Located next to the California Fitness. Staff is amazing each time I've been there "Maylene/ or Naylane" ( if I spelt this wrong I apologize. She is the sweetest. Dr. Dwelly himself is amazing. Truly a master of his craft. I came in for my accident and I had 3 adjustments. After the first time I felt amazing instantly. I felt as if I had a new back, I felt lighter on my feet and stood taller. I then returned 2 years later for a work related injury and they still recognized me. Felt like nothing had change. Still had the amazing staff and Dr. Dwelly was still yielding great results after the adjustment. My boyfriend also who was suffering mild sciatica problems went to Dr. Dwelly and after an adjustment he felt better I highly recommend this office. read more

Bruce Dwelly is by far the Best Chiropractor ever!! He is every knowledgeable and clearly cares about his patients. His Office Manager, Mayling, is so great and always welcomes you with a big smile. I highly recommend him. read more

I wrenched my back about a week ago and had a feeling it was going to be a problem. Sure enough...a week later, major back pain that made any movement painful. Was able to be seen here for $55, they do not take insurance, on the same day I called. I walked in nauseous from pain, and walked out 30 minutes later pain free. The office is clean, the desk receptionist was professional and so sweet. So glad I found this place! read more

Dr. Bruce Dwelly has been my Chiropractor for about 7 to 8 years now. I was referred to him by a close friend. Dr. Dwelly, is the Best Chiropractor I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and quickly understood my complicated history of Muscular skeletal injuries, and how they related to the extreme pain I was having at that time. Dr. Dwelly holds a high standard in caring for his patients. He really listened to me and quickly understood the help I needed. His adjustments have always relieved my pain/Spasms. All other Chiropractors have told me to make another Appt. or tell me I'm going to need to see them 2-3 times a week. Dr. Dwelly has his patients best interest and will Not encourage you come right back, unless that is exactly what is needed for you to successfully recover. He always says, give me a call when you feel that it's time to come back. Dr. Dwelly is a rare Health Care Provider, as he puts his patient's Best Interest First Always. I Credit Dr. Dwelly with helping me maintain a higher Quality of Life, after I suffered a Severe Accident that badly injured my Entire Lumbar. My Primary Care Doctor did nothing to help me. My Pain Specialist told me that Dr. Dwelly was the Best person to direct my Recovery. I demanded an MRI, and that's the only help I received from my Medical Doctors. Dr. Dwelly turned out to be the Best choice to direct my Recovery Plan. He referred me to a Spinal Specialist. I was given an appointment and soon I had one of the Best Spine Specialist, making a plan to get my Health back on tract. I've had the first of several surgeries. I know I will get through this, with the support of Dr. Dwelly, my Surgeon and my family. Our Health Care system is terrible and getting worse. Yet, with Doctors, like Dr. Bruce Dwelly, I feel there is hope. If you've never had Chiropractic care, now a great time to start. Dr. Dwelly keeps me moving and I Trust him to do his Best for me and all of his patients. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff to help you maintain or improve the quality of your life. read more

Solid chiropractor. Made me wait an hour. His conversation seemed politically motivated. But my neck/back feel better.

Bruce Dwelly is the best chiropractor in the area! I was referred to Bruce Dwelly by my wonderful attorney Edward A. Schade from Ashton & Price due to a horrible car accident that occurred in 2014 and he was not joking when he told me Bruce Dwelly is a great chiropractor! Not just that but his receptionist Jessica is amazing and will do anything possible to accommodate your needs! Bruce Dwelly dose the best adjustments and is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me recover greatly! I also highly recommend him! read more

Bruce Dwelly is by far the best chiropractor I've ever been to. I have been to many in the area and I feel like they don't listen to my concerns and I leave hurting worse than I did when I originally went in. I was referred to Bruce after I was in an auto accident and I still see him occasionally even though my whiplash treatment has ended. He has helped me with pain management, migraines, and my overall well being. I always leave feeling better. He takes his time, he listens to his patients, he's gentle, and truly amazing. I would recommend him to anyone looking for quality chiropractic care. read more

Like Everyone else on here i have nothing bad to say at all. My wife and i were refered to Dwelly after a bad car accident and i went in slightly skeptical to say the least as he was initially recommended to us by our lawyer. He has blown any doubts of the overall awesomeness of his ability and practice out of the water and is a great guy. Both The Doctor and his staff are flexible to work with and amazing at what they do, Thank you Dwelly and Sara(h?)! read more

I've seen Dwelly in the past for car accident injuries and such as a kid and he always provided great treatment that always helped. Recently I went back in after 5+ years or so for a neck injury, walked in stiff and in pain. After his treatment the following day my pain and range of motion significantly improved. Still great treatments and humane service. Thanks Bruce! read more

I've gone to Bruce Dwelly for alomost a year- 3 to 4 visits for a tight piriformis (tight hip). I do a triathlons from time to time and the running/biking can tend to trow you out of alignment. I highly recommend Dr. Dwelly if you are an athlete; he knows the mechanics that affect athletes and can help get you back up and running! He has a reputation in Sacramento as the "go to" guy who works on a lot of professional/ Elite athletes. read more

This morning I woke up barely able to move so I headed to Dr. Dwelly's office which is located in the same building as my gym. As a first time patient with no appointment, I wasn't even sure I could be seen. Not only did they fit me in, but Dr. Dwelly worked wonders on my lower back. I'm so thankful! read more

Bruce is a stud. I came to him with a destroyed piriformis that was hampering everything that I did...After four sessions, I was literally clear of issues. No more pain standing up, sitting down, running, etc. Excellent at his trade! Sarah (office staff) is SUPER friendly and always works around my crazy schedule. I am now, officially, a regular. read more

Dr. Bruce cares about the proper approach to your spinal/whole body health; listening to your body not just crack this and that then send you on your way ensuring to book your next appointment like all other chiropractors I've seen over the years since I was little when my mom worked for a chiropractor. He took the time to relax my muscles and to give the best possible adjustment. My first adjustment with Dr. Dwelly was the best adjustment I've ever had! I didn't feel shocked/paralyzed/frozen afterwards like I usually do. He's a friendly family kinda a guy! My first impression of Dr. Dwelly, where have you been my whole life? He obviously cares about his patients health and well being and not just getting the appointment over and booking the next. He's "THE" one and only chiropractor now for me and my family. Hands Down "The Best Chiropractor!" All others should take note! Update: Upon waking up this morning (my first adjustment from Dr. Dwelly was yesterday), I realized something wonderful had happened. For as long as I can remember, I wake up with stiff and achy neck and right shoulder muscles. This morning I didn't have that! My neck and right shoulder muscles doesn't hurt! I've never had these results after any adjustment in the past 10+ years!!! I woke up and sprung out of bed feeling excited and ready for the day. Thank you Dr. Dwelly! Thank you very much!!! read more

I know most or at least it seems like most are skeptical of chiropractors but I'll tell you about my experiences. Went to see Dr. Dwelly about 4 years ago after my back and neck was all jacked up and after a few appointments he was able to get my stiff back in line. Had seen him off and on for a while since then till this past April when I was injured in a bad car accident. Having known everyone for a while I knew that I'd get some pain relief but I was really effed up so it took about 4 months to get me to where I could sit without pain for an extended time. Let me reiterate, I was straight jacked up and in constant pain. I know everyone there pretty well and just think they are all the type of people that care about your well being and want to not see you all the time which means you are in better condition. Dr. Dwelly is a cool cat. read more

THIS REVIEW IS NOT ABOUT DR. BRUCE DWELLY, ITS ABOUT DR. CARPENTER (He is in the same office on Fridays) I have been a long time patient of Dr. Bruce Dwelly and there isn't a single complaint I have had of his work in the past 5 years. However I saw Dr. Carpenter (NOT Dr. Dwelly!) today and I am totally dissatisfied! I went in because my hip is stiff and I can't move it really at all, so when I called to make the appointment they told me they would use the elector shock thing to loosen the muscle, and having had that before I know that is exactly what I need. When I told him specifically that that is what I was told I was going to get, and needed, he completely ignored me and continued with a basic adjustment focusing literally every where I don't have issues, after I clearly explained where my problem areas were. I had to make another appointment for next week with Dr. Dwelly to spend more money getting fixed what should have been done in the first place!! Overall I am EXTREMELY unsatisfied with Dr. Carpenter. The only good thing I have to say is he was friendly, but other than that total waste of money!! read more

I've gone to quite a few chiropractors in my life and Dr. Dwelly is one of the best I have seen. He was recommended to me about 5 years ago when I hurt myself by falling down some stairs. I have continued to see him from time to time for minor injuries and various aches and pains. I fully trust him!! It is difficult to put a painful body into someone else's hands, but he NEVER hurts me and I always leave feeling so much better. His bedside manner is remarkable. He is compassionate, very funny, knowledgeable, and very responsive to needs and concerns. I can not recommend him strongly enough! read more

Dr Dwelly has been both my mother and I's chiropractor off and on for the past years and I will probably never see anyone else. He has such a great bedside manner, I always feel so comfortable around him and he always makes sure you leave with any questions answered and any suggestions he can give to help you. Always referring people to him, I couldn't be happier that he's only 10 mins away from my place! read more

I recently moved to Orangevale and needed a chiropractor desperately as I was in excruciating pain and my primary care physician told me it was "all in my head". I found Dr. Dwelly using the Yelp App and seeing his Five Star rave reviews felt he was the one to see. I was not disappointed. Dr. Dwelly was kind, compassionate, listened to my symptoms and helped alleviate the pain he could, then told me exactly what I needed to do. Go to the ER for an MRI to find what was causing my extreme pain he suspected was a pinched nerve. I did just that and turns out I have Cervical Radiculopathy. The ER doctor said my chiropractor is one of the best to recommend what he did rather than trying to adjust my neck and was very impressed as I am. I'll be recommending him to all my friends and family. Wonderful doctor. read more

I've seen several chiropractors before and most are pretty much the same. I've had a few exceptional ones, but Dwelly goes above and beyond. I took my son to see him when he had a crick in his neck and couldn't turn it, fixed him right up. Also used his laser treatment on him. He liked the special treatment. He made him feel comfortable because Dwelly had kids and knows how to talk to them. My husband sees him regularly and says he's the best too. Wonderful bedside manner and very personable, and really knows what he's talking about. As an active family it's nice to know that he understands sports injuries as this is his background. read more

I'm VERY pleased with Dr Dwelly and his office. I was referred by Craig Ashton after a car accident and have had probably 4-5 Treatments so far. Bruce has such a great bedside manner, he makes you feel as if you've been friends for years and that he truly cares about your health and well being. Meline at the front desk is also very friendly. Dr Dwelly has helped me so much already and I'm not done with treatment yet. I have been to several chiropractors in the past and NONE of them have come even close to Bruce Dwelly. He has helped with neck pain and headaches and has taught me some techniques for relief as well as offering to show my husband how to cradle my head and use traction and pressure to relieve headaches. Unfortunately, due to my injury I do not have complete relief yet but I'm doing much better than I would have been without this treatment. I look forward to my next visit! read more

For some reason my previous review did not show up. I hope this will be visible now.

I've seen both Dr Dwelly and Dr Carpenter and both are great. I've had back/neck issues for ages and now with monthly adjustments it's much better and they are good at fitting you in for emergencies if needed. read more

Wow! First time in about a year I was able to sleep on my sides without my arms falling asleep due to neuropathy. I'm so pleased! No other chiropractor has been able to help me. I was about to give up and accept it as my new normal. Thank you Dr. Dwelly!!! read more

He is amazing!! I was completely incapacitated in tears unable to walk, sit, lay down, or stand on my own suffering from severe lower back pain.. After finding out I was suffering from lower back muscle spasms, inflammation and my sciatic nerve was pinched he treated me with 100% confidence in his work and my probability to heal. 24 hours later I am healing. I scooted in there with tears and i walked out of there with an immense appreciation for chiropractors, specifically Dr Dwelly. I was in so much pain I was afraid to even let him touch me but he was gentle, knowledgable with where he focused on me and genuinely made magic. I can't recommend him enough!!! Thank you Dr Dwelly essentially your my hero, you saved me read more

Dr. Dwelly is knowledgeable, professional and a real people person. Best of all he knows how to adjust from the neck to the toes! Great for all ages. read more

Dr Dwelly is great - I have been going to various chiropractors on and off for years. Dr Dwelly is very thorough in understanding my issues and then making the necessary adjustments. He takes the time to talk with you and puts a plan in place for overall health. It's important to note he has you come in only when really needed which is refreshing- love that he has an on-site massage therapist Stacey who is great - applies the right pressure which helps make an adjustment by Dr Dwelly that much easier. The office team led by Sarah are warm, friendly, and happy. They are super helpful with paperwork in particular if you have been in an accident - They are attentive, promptly say hello, and get you on a pre adjustment machine-one that is a roller and one that is a warm water bed -all yummy for your back. Love this group and highly recommend calling for an appointment as he gets busy. read more

Bruce Dwelly is the BEST Chiropractor I have ever been treated by. I have utilized Chiropractic services for over 25 years, almost 8 of those have been with Bruce. He knows what he is doing, and makes it a point to stay educated on Chiropractic, but complementary health modalities. He truly listens to and cares about his patients. Bruce communicates with all of his patients and makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Bruce informs and educates his patients with the intent to assist them in healing themselves and being pain-free. I have recommended Bruce Dwelly to every person I know, whom I think would benefit from Chiropractic care. I moved out of the area, and still drive the 45 minutes to have Bruce take care of my Chiropractic needs, because I believe him to be the best! read more
