Look no further! Brenda is the girl for eyeliner tattoo!…read more I have been looking for a place to get my eyeliner tattooed because I really didn't want to see smudged eyeliner by the end of the day anymore. Or when I accidentally scratch my eyes or do something crazy. Personally, I think semi-permanent make-up is the way to go for my lifestyle and makeup habits. I usually only wear natural make-up so I opted for the Simple Subtle Lash Liner. I browsed Brenda's reviews on Yelp, and I looked at her website and Instagram page before I contacted her. So Brenda enticed me to come in for consultation by seeing that she is all about focusing on au natural type semi-permanent make-up. Since that's what I wanted, I went ahead and booked an appointment. The procedure wasn't as painful or as scary as I thought it would be. The result also looked REALLY good! The colour was fantastic and I could totally see it so natural looking. After a few weeks, it healed, then I decided to go in for a touch up for a bit more of a darker look. It was so epic. Exceptional work. Pink walls. Very girly. Loved it.

I read reviews, checked out Instagram feeds, watched YouTube videos, and scoured websites for months, before deciding on B for Brows. The end result is that I'm SO happy with my eyebrows after Brenda got a hold of them and so glad that I took the leap with microblading. I only wish that I had done it sooner. With my new waterproof brows, my morning routine is so much quicker and I'm much more confident leaving the house without make-up. If you are still undecided about where to go for microblading, here is why you should choose Brenda: *EXPERTISE - Brenda has expert training and specializes in microblading eyebrows! She does not do other cosmetic procedures as she is a master at shaping and sculpting beautiful and natural eyebrows. *HYGIENE - Brenda has a background in the Dentistry field, so she is trained and knowledgeable about hygienic practices. Her studio is beautiful, bright, clean and private! *PROFESSIONAL - Before your procedure, Brenda takes the time to talk with you about your eyebrows, from colour and shape, to thickness and arch - what you don't like and what you hope to achieve after microblading. During the procedure, she also explains in detail what she is going to do and why, so you are prepared. She also provides detailed instructions on AFTERCARE - super important! *FRIENDLY - Brenda, herself, is very friendly, warm, and welcoming. Feel free to chat her up while the numbing cream takes effect. *NATURAL - I wanted natural looking eyebrows and Brenda delivered. If you look through her portfolio, this is her specialty.

I strongly warn anyone considering Premier Brow Bar in Metrotown. My experience with Jiya was…read moreunsafe, unprofessional, and dishonest. I went in for a simple eyebrow threading, but Jiya convinced me to do a lamination and then charged me for a full-face threading I never requested. She also performed an off-menu facial, doing deep extractions without my consent, which caused pain, ruptured capillaries, and skin damage. My eyebrow lamination was ruined. When I asked Jiya why facials were not listed on their website, she said they "do not offer it to everyone" -- essentially admitting this service is outside the scope of their licensing with Fraser Health. During the appointment, Jiya spent 20 minutes complaining about her personal breakup, saying her boyfriend ended their two-year relationship because she is Hindu, he is Sikh, and his mother refused the marriage -- completely unprofessional and irrelevant. The next day, I returned to request a refund. Staff acknowledged my damaged skin, took photos, and contacted the owner. I sent the photos, but the owner never called back and is now refusing all communication. My face is still sore from the damage. This business is unsafe, unskilled, and dishonest.

I was very disappointed in my Ombre' brows that I had done in July 2021…read more I am fair skin, blonde and the color match was way off. It was very dark for my skin tone, but Lynda told me it would fade. The brows were very wide as well and did not match my face line. I emailed Lynda 2 times to advise her that I was not happy, and did not hear back from her. I have since spent $200 to have my brows lasered and back to square one. I also did not think Lynda was professional as she was chatting with a co-worker about boyfriends, and getting away for the week end the entire time. This was at the Surrey location. I will not go back and will not recommend.

She saw the photo and delivered above and beyond. The hair wash, cut and style took about one hour. The whole time she was attentive to me, she cut and blow dry and went back to finish cutting. The salon was super clean as well, all the staff is very professional. My cut was $55 with a 10% new customer discount. I will definitely be coming back. I will try color next time.

I came in early, got sitted and waited for my stylist to come. This place has no free parking available, but they have plenty of street parking. The rate is $3 per hour. Miyo was my hairstylist and she took a really good care of my hair. Before she started cutting my hair, she asked my preferences; such as my habit (how I style my hair or if I just uses hairdryer, my plan (growing hair), and what kind of style I want to go for. Then she started cutting, and after she cut my hair half way, she asked me to move to the washer station to wash my hair. Once I got seated, she gave me a blanket to cover my legs. She covered the back side of shirt around the neck area with plastic wrapper and some towels to make sure the water did wet the shirt. Afterwards, she setup my chair and the foot rest. Then she also gave me a cover for my eyes. While she was washing, she also gave out some massages. It was such a relaxing moment. After, we were done washing, I got seated back to the haircut seating area, and she begun drying my hair. After drying my hair, she started cutting my hair again more carefully this time, especially the bangs area. She took a great care of my bangs, and I loved my overall looks. After she is done, she gave me suggestions on how to style my hair with the new haircut. After paying, I got escorted out by her. Overall, I would recommend Miyo, she went above and beyond with her services.

The two ideas I had were roughly the same price -- and doing some math, I decided on both (two tattoos are better than one!) as for two it was fifty bucks more than one of my older tattoos. Idea one was Fire Walk With Me. Idea two was a stick figure Bride of Frankenstein that my husband drew. I thought idea two would be the one an artist wouldn't want to do, but Felicia seemed so excited to tattoo the stick figure. Felicia was super sweet and super kind. Her tattoos healed great! The vibe of the shop was super chill. Nice big waiting area so I didn't feel like my husband was left somewhere cramped. The waiting area was dim and had nice comfy couches. Not dim in that way to hide things, but shaded and cool. The tattoo areas were nice and lit up but not so much so that you can't close your eyes and relax. Some tattoo places are lit like a dang movie set!
