The woman there greeted me and immediately began working on my brows. About 12 minutes into the appointment, I received a call from The Lash Lounge and realized I was at the wrong place. I answered and explained the honest mix-up. I even offered to reschedule and apply the $34 fee to a future appointment. I was polite and very apologetic, fully aware that their brow tech was left waiting. Unfortunately, I was met with zero empathy and told I'd be charged the full amount, no exceptions. Brow Threading told me this kind of confusion has happened before. If that's the case, maybe a little flexibility would go a long way--especially for new clients. Bottom line: mistakes happen. But how a business handles them says everything. The Lash Lounge chose to charge me for a service I didn't receive instead of offering any kind of understanding. I won't be going back. If you're in the area, I highly recommend Brow Threading Beauty Salon instead--16+ years of experience and truly kind service.

At our consultation Tracy explained how pigments can migrate over time and what she could do to correct it. Her many years of experience have given her much knowledge about how skin interacts with pigments, and Tracy was patient, clear and honest with expectations and results. Perhaps the biggest attribute to being permanent make up artist is Tracy is thorough, meticulous and thoughtful with her artistic skills. Shea is very professional. On the day of my appointment, I had anxiety and sent her a text saying…read morethat I was nervous. Instead of pressuring me to show up, Shea suggested that I take a couple days to become more comfortable if I needed to. It put me at ease. Fast forward, after arriving to my appointment (which she was about 15 minutes late to, but it was situational as she forgot her phone) Shea spent a good amount of time (an hour maybe two) drawing the shape of my brows, measuring my bone structure and adjusting to what I did and didn't like. The appointment didn't feel rushed for a split second. Shea made me feel as though I was the most important client she has ever had. Very caring in her attention-to-detail. She was friendly but focused and very eager to make sure I understood what she was doing, why, and understanding how I felt about it all. The first session looked incredible. Unfortunately, it faded almost completely within 5 days. That is because I didn't follow aftercare instructions, at all. Even though Shea told me repeatedly how to care for my brows. I didn't apply Vaseline after the second night. Maybe even the first. When I communicated my panic to her, she was responsive and attentive. She asked me questions, she asked for pictures, and she made me feel confident that she will get them touched up just right on my second session. Even though she had already been paid in full, it was very clear that she cared deeply about my satisfaction. The second session was just like the first, except this time I followed aftercare instructions. Now, a few months later, my brows are still completely as full as they were when I left her office. The aftercare makes a huge difference in their longevity. If you are going to do this, with Shea or anyone, FOLLOW THE AFTERCARE instructions otherwise you're wasting your money. Shea knows what she is doing. The way she bladed my brows is different than how I would have ever filled them in, but that's because I am not trained on how brows are supposed to lay and arch. I am glad she explained everything to me. Because brows are an art, you can't just shape the same form on everyone as everyone is shaped differently. She find the lines in your face and accentuates your eyes, cheekbones through brow contour. Without a doubt, this is worth the money. Waking up everyday to full brows that you don't have to do anything to, plus it seems like it takes years off my appearance. And it literally looks so natural that even when I get in my 5x cosmetic mirror I can't tell a difference between her work and my natural brow contour. I began to hope that this could be the thing that could make a difference for me, as I have struggled with stagnant lymph and inflammation for years, despite the many efforts I put forth. I was able to go in and meet QC and experience this amazing healing experience. QC told me things about my body I've never been diagnosed with- scar tissue from ovarian cysts, stagnant lymph that is stuck in my breast tissue, hormones out of whack...well, everyone who has been around me can see that one, but you get the picture! QC walked me through the entire process as she worked. She explained that your body is like a lake, and when your meridians are blocked and your interstitial fluid can't move freely nothing works properly. When you're interstitial fluid is free, your body can heal as God intended it to. The treatment itself does not hurt, even though I'm black and blue in some places where I was very toxic. It's not painless, but tolerable. I also did a facial detox and I can't even begin to explain what a noticeable difference there is in my face. I had no clue I had so much fluid trapped in my face! My face looks younger and thinner in just one session. You can see some noticeable difference in my before and after pics. There are other pictures, but I'll spare you. My shoulder is sloping less and I've got inches of inflammation gone. What you CAN'T see is that my bra fits differently. You can't see that I can feel my blood flow differently. You can't see that I feel like a giant weight has been lifted off of me. And this is just the beginning, as I should see continued improvement as my body works to heal. QC has been given a gift, and as she says she is just using what God gave her to heal and serve others. She does a lot of education to train practitioners- I think what she is doing is amazing and I feel so fortunate to have had a chance to do it. Her team is so friendly and professional, and her knowledge is astounding. 10 years from now, the medical community will be talking about interstitial fluid the way QC does- she is truly cutting edge.
